| You can probably tell I havent been here for awhile. As you all know I'm the Senator and also Governor of Eriadu and I have many responsibilities on my planet. I can't be here as often as Eriadu needs its Senator to be and this isnt acceptable. So I'm taking a leave of absence so I can T.C.O.B. on Eriadu and have someone here full time to represent me. And that person is Senator Haras. She is qualified to be Senator.. in school, she was the head of the Pro-Imperial Athletes and the co-captain of her shock ball team. She has a degree in communications and won the Miss Phelar beauty pageant and finished 3rd in the Miss Eriadu pageant. Later, she was a committed PTA member and the mayor of Phelar. I'm going to count on her to represent me in my absence, and I yield the floor to her. All yours, gorgeous.

| Thanks, Joe. Ya know, I am so glad to be here representin' the great planet of Eriadu and I'm honored that Senator Oswaldt gave me this opportunity. I never really set out to get involved in public affairs, and never thought I'd be Senator of Eriadu. I'm just your average "grav-ball mom," but I know a thing or two about makin' ends meet in tough times and so does this great big galaxy of ours. We've seen tough times and the Empire's seen us through 'em, and that's why I'm just such a strong supporter of this Empire and an admirer of Joe's work here in the Senate. There's an old sayin' on Eriadu: a boat's safe in a harbor, but that ain't what it's built for. And throughout his time here Senator Oswaldt has stood up for main street values even if it wasn't easy, and gosh darnit, that's what I hope to do here myself. I'll take any questions ya got for me.

| Senator Haras, outside of being the mayor of Phelar and holding a degree in communications, what other qualifiers do you have to be Senator? I will admit that it is odd to see Governor Oswaldt cede his spot to a female, but I am curious what you plan to bring to the Senate, other than 'main street values.'

| Oddly enough, I am sorry to see you go, Governor Oswaldt, but I do understand being busy. All too well, in fact. I never expected you to choose a woman as a replacement, but I am slightly encouraged by this uhm....choice. | Ya know, Senator Lekpin, a lot of folks think there's Senators who are too qualified. A lot of you run businesses or governments and you forget the struggles that real people are goin' through. Not me. I come from the same place as the folks I represent. I understand em because I'm one of em, and I think there need to be more Senators who know what's goin' on back on main street and the difference they can make for regular folks. I'm just a big supporter of small businesses, don'tcha know, but most folks I know don't own a business and neither do I. I'm not here to make money or do favors for no one, I'm here to represent my neighbors on Eriadu (except the Fergusuns... They know why)
