| As it is not really stated the ground strength of men and vehicles on Baltimn, this request is for space forces for the purposes of planetary protection and pirate interdiction. 2x squadrons of ARC-170 starfighters (cheap and easy to find. The X-wing is comparable, but more expensive) 1x squadron of Preybird-class starfighters 1x Origin-class battleship (this leads into a storyline)

| I vote to APPROVE, with the stubborn exception of the ARC-170's in accordance with my pet peeve. If you're interested in an older model fighter, perhaps something akin to a Z-95 would be acceptable? Also, just for the record, it'd be useful to know if Baltimn is just now acquiring the Origin-class ship, or whether it's assumed that as of the present it's already had it for some time. | I'd trade the ARC-170s for a squadron of Deathraven-class ships. Added (11 Nov 2009, 2:01 Am) --------------------------------------------- Also, it'd be nice if the battleship is already acquired. It makes future business dealings easier.

| Thanks for the lowdown on the battleship. So that's good to go. Thing is, though, that the "Deathraven" seems rather more heavily armed than the ARC-170's and, more importantly, it seems that only one of them was ever made as a custom design for a specific client, Erron Kell. Jace Varitek

| Approved, once we settle the fighter issue. Personally, I would be alright with the ARC-170s. They aren't THAT old. If Jace is still stubborn on the issue, as he has a point with the "Deathraven", being more heavily armed. As for one being made, the source picture clearly shows a second of such craft, although that could just be bad research on the part of the artist. Baring that in mind, I would say go with another design, unless Jace lets up on the ARC-170s. I've got nothing on suggestions really, which unusual for me, maybe Jace had something in mind?

| That's a good eye, noting the second "Deathraven" in that picture that I hadn't noticed. I don't think I've ever seen a canon source that actually contradicts itself (both the image and the description being from Starships of the Galaxy). The original, as I've discovered, actually shows three. However, the description of Erron Kell seems to be more explicit: "Making use of old allies still working within the military, he managed to requisition a pair of out-of-commission B-wing/E starfighters, which had been too damaged to be used by the military. Kell refurbished them, with assistance from Kuat Drive Yards, into his signature transport, Deathraven." With this description it seems unlikely, despite the picture, that more than one would be produced. As for suggestions, when it comes to second rate, unaligned/neutral fighters, I usually go with what I call "the usual suspects," that is things like Z-95's (primarily), Cloakshapes (also good), A-9 Interceptors, and I-7 Howlrunners. These appear to be the most common for this sort of purpose, with the exception of the A-9 which might be somewhat more rare.

| How about the Razor-class fighter? The Deathraven really isn't that bad though overall. Added (13 Nov 2009, 11:25 Am) --------------------------------------------- Also, the Deathraven is a tad unique, making it hard for anyone to impersonate Baltimn attacking other planets.

| I vote to APPROVE the Razor-class fighters. Personally, however, I'd have thought it was the other way around; common fighters like Z-95's and so on, I think, would make it harder to impersonate Baltimn exactly because they're so common that it could have been anyone who did it. But anyway, I digress. I'm cool with the request. Jace "These are my favorite rank insignias: , , , and " Varitek

| Doesn't look like there's going to be any votes against, so I'll go ahead and declare the request APPROVED. Jace Varitek
