Senators, I've searched the archives and there is nothing about this currently active within the empire. I present to you.
The Food Act.
On many planets that fall under the empires jurisdiction, they serve all types of food, some of it deadly to humans, and some of deadly to other species. Here is what I propose restaurants, kiosks, and market's do.
1. Hang a sign, or tell the customer which food would be fine for their race, and which food would be poisonous or cause extreme sickness for their race.
2. If a proprietor of a kiosk, restaurant, and so forth does not tell the customer about a food, and they purchase it and become ill, the proprietor must pay a fine, and pay for the customer's medical cost, including hospital fee's and if it comes to it, funeral services.
3. To track these transactions, we would have to open up a small office, where receipts from all over the galaxy that have to do with food sales, will be faxed to this office, with the proprietor's name, and the location of where he/she/it is located, so we would be able to bill this person, that's how we'd deal with number 2.
4. Add sub menu's for the multiple alien species within Imperial Worlds. Regarding what will be poisonous for them, and what would be fine for them.
If any one has something to add, I'm open to ideas.
