| You're chatting nonsense, Senator Kirkwood. Enforcing the law does not violate the constitutional rights of a government. Does detaining a criminal violate his constitutional rights? As Senator Terrawin said "You do the crime, you do the time."
Criminals are punished for the protection of society, and thus Deralia needs to be punished for the protection of the galactic community. Those worlds which have been advocating the "unconstitutionality" of this are saying that "No matter how awful their conduct, worlds governments should never be punished" and you know what?
I disagree, worlds need to be accountable to rules or what is the point in the existence of the rules? Why, by your logic, make laws?
The Evidence of the "terrorists" being a Deralian Special Ops team
The captured men were verified to be Deralian. The men had dispatched at least one probe droid to scan the defenses of the Dantooine Militia. The men were reported by a witness to speak "in a Deralian accent". The men deployed probe droids to scan the local defenses (indicating their role as scouts for a planned invasion). The escape of their vessel was aided and interception prevented by the appearance of a Deralian warship. Their remainder on the world showed extraordinary proficiency in the slaughter of the Dantooine Militia, and would not even surrender when offered to do so after their vehicles were incapacitated.

| Senator Kirkwood,
You sir, are the last to speak about anything. Where were you when this whole incident happened? You never made any comments, anything. I owe nothing to you, so do not attempt to use this moment to bask in a shine of glory. As for my statement in the matter, I've spoken my peace. To repeat myself would become rather tiresome and boring, and thus as a Galactic Body, we have more important matters to attend to.

| Senators, Lorrd is against this measure. Attempting repetitive repeals is solving nothing but tying up the Senate's time. Regretfully perhaps, I suggest we put this all aside and move onwards.

| I'd like to associate myself with Senator Oriel's remarks of a moment ago. However, I remain in favor of repeal for the reasons I've said. This discussion has gone on at some length and I agree with Senator Ray that perhaps it's time to move on—Senator Oriel, let's discuss sanctions elsewhere? I'm sure a meeting can be arranged or our droids can exchange our notes on this.

| It seems to be agreed that this debate has run its course. The vote is closed and the measure is defeated with 36% in favor and 64% opposed.
