To the Government of Volus

Please find attached our proposal for a design for the Vjunite Embassy on Volus. We estimate at present that this operation will create around 40 permanent jobs on Volus, in the fields of Administration, External Security, Custodial, Maintenance. We also aim to open a small museum on site to allow people to explore Vjunite History and Culture; allowing free entry for all educational groups, in addition to holding regular tours of the embassy.

Our partners within the Coalition for Free Trade and the Imperial Sector and Central Government will have use of our facilities if required. It shall also be possible to rent certain function rooms and areas of the Embassy for functions etc.

Sir Henry Sturgess-Smythe
Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the Expansion Region, Baronet Weatherbry, etc.

To The Government of Vjun

I am not familiar what other worlds you may have embassies on, however we at treat those who represent other Imperial Worlds right on Volus. The land for you embassy has already been purchased and set aside. As soon as you wish to arrive we would be more than happy to direct you to the plot which will be yours to do with as you please, within reason of course.

As a gesture of friendship, the people of Volus will strive to ensure the full protection of the Embassy by placing several garrison units on patrol nearby as well as offering on an indefinite loan, a squad of our elite soldiers to help in the guarding of the embassy itself. These soldiers will follow the orders of your chief of security and, it goes without saying, your ambassador.

The design of the embassy itself is, naturally, up to the government of Vjun though perhaps a more up to date, modernized version would be more appropriate?

With regards,
Loton Motour
King of Volus

Your Majesty,

I believe the current design is as modern as is required, the sketch in your possession is simply a wall plan, and naturally it will all be produced in modern materials and to the exacting standards (and containing the sophisticated technologies) that Vjun is well known for. However, the squat, practical, construction is one we prefer for security. High, thick walls and crenelation is often of great comfort to those who have grown up weaned by the hard rock and burning rain of their homeland.

Our plan is to place on the outside of our security ditch a electrified fence, beyond this we would be happy to allow the posting of Volusian Security Forces in order to provide weapons scans etc for any visitors who would then enter under the barbican and into a courtyard for internal security etc. Within the Embassy we plan to sponsor the posting of a squad of Imperial Stormtroopers to organise internal security.

Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the Expansion Region, Baronet Weatherbry, etc.
