| Gentlemen, I am extremely concerned at the Volusians holding Vjunite Citizens, Vehicles and Cargo. As such, I would like to ballot you all to approve the following motion. "The Commission of the Imperial Loyalist Coalition of Free Trading Worlds Concerned with the Actions of Volus in seizing Vjunite Citizens without due process of law. Appalled at the holding of Vjunite Cargo for months, despite diplomatic protests. Shocked by the reckless disregard of Volus for the wellbeing of the Imperial Economy in its prohibition of simple cloth and dye in a "secret law". Calls upon its worlds to volunteer portions of their military to engage in a blockade of Aeeq in order to protest our cause until such a time as Volus. 1. Releases the Vjunite captives.
2. Releases all seized Vjunite assets
3. Repeals the Law which allowed the seizure of these assets and signs a pledge nevermore to issue "secret" laws which are not well published.

| Aeeq is a fetid swamp filled with aliens, who (rumour hath it) are moderately disloyal to the Emperor and his new order, this said, a place of little consequence. This said, it has only ever roused itself to vote in favour of Senator Stars more ridiculous proposals. The world is a nothing, fairly irrelevant really. However, it would be.. useful.. to focus Volus' attention on the matter, since one of its Senatorial allies would be to a certain extent penalised for Volus' own transgressions, without acting to threaten the peace and prosperity of the Imperial Tradeways.

| Very well, Senator Oriel. Brentaal supports the motion, and will contribute an appropriate number of vessels to this blockade. I assure you, Brentaal's fleet is quite experienced in interdiction, and will prove invaluable to this effort. Might I also suggest that I be the "spokesman," as it were, for this operation? Ordinarily I would say it is only proper for Senator Oriel to do this, but I'm sure we want to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest, and truly, we should emphasize that the actions of Volus aren't only a crime against Vjun but a crime against commerce and, thus, potentially any of us. If my colleagues permit, I will deliver a briefing to the Senate tomorrow about the blockade, and an earnest plea to the galaxy-at-large for its support.

| I vote in favour of confirming Senator Cambrist as spokesman for the protest. Anaxes will be contributing 1 Victory-class Star Destroyer, 1 Nebulon B-class Frigate. I shall command these ships personally, as the one who has held the highest rank in the Imperial Navy previously, and being that my world is the largest contributor to the Operation (in terms of tonnage and firepower), I would like to request to be confirmed as Commanding Officer for the over-arching blockade.

| Vjun will contribute one Armed Consular-class Cruiser, and one Gozanti-class Patrol Cruiser. I have no objection to either Senator Cambrist being spokesman for the Operation, nor to Senator Ordan taking tactical command of the fleet.

| If there is no objection, I nominate the coordinates 3156:2165:2134.98 (approximately a parsec from Aeeq) as the gathering point for the Coalition forces. This will leave us within a few minute's jump of Aeeq, and well out of any Sensor Range, so that it is unlikely that our position is to be leaked prior to the imposition of the protest.
