Eva, I completely understand where you are coming from. I feared when I took this high-profile posting for the Commenor government, that it would put pressures on us that would put unbearable distance between us. To be honest, I have become tired of the partisan politics, the endless state dinners, and enormous pressure placed upon me to support controversial and, even questionable, bills. I understand why you would leave this miserable, claustrophobic, corrupt, towering city-planet. Believe me, Imperial Center has changed me -- and I am not better for it. I have neglected you and Kethios beyond forgiveness. Through all your love, devotion, and patience for me, I have returned none of it.

Through your leaving, I have realized my greatest treasures do not lie within the Senate rotunda, but with you and Kethios. I pray you will learn to forgive my lack of love and care. As a sign of my sincerity, I am prepared to submit my leave of absence and come back for you and Kethios so we can rebuild what we have lost. Rekindle the flames of love and passion.
