As I am sure you are well aware, Chandrila's fleet was Imperialized several years ago. Being under the protection of the Empire is mostly fine with the people of Chandrila, but there are some drawbacks to it. The first, of course, being the question of the fleet arriving in time in case of an emergency. I cannot even begin to fathom of an attack on such a peaceful world, but unfortunately, there are those out there that still oppose our illustrious Emperor and wish to do harm to any of those worlds that may support him. That being said, I am incredibly interested in purchasing a few ships for the protection of Chandrila. Nothing more than for her defense, should a situation arise in which she would need protection. Also, these ships could be used for the aide of nearby worlds, if needed.

I am sure that this is not something that a person would normally request of you, Senator, but seeing as how you are such a decorated military man and the head of the Defense Committee, I could not think of anyone better to ask for assistance. Your record, and obviously your medals, speak for themselves.

Since I know little of ships, I would like to ask for your help in perhaps choosing the correct ones for my planet before I propose this idea to the senate. Of course, I would need them all to be within the letter of the law and strictly outfitted for defense. I would also, at your leisure and availability, love to see the shipyards in which these vessels would be produced. I find the entire process to be fascinating.
