| The holo image began to spark to live before a young man dressed in his formal Officer's uniform stepped into the frame. His hand coming up as he saluted before taking a proper stance. "Captain Ali'Zarin Deamora reporting for duty." He stood silently as he waited. His last mission having kept him out of the sight of the public eye. He stood silently as he looked directly at the image of the higher ups. Much of Ali'Zarin's history was black listed, made to ensure that the Empire could have a Naval Officer that could take any action needed. Any action that the Naval command could then answer with the simple fact that they gave no orders for such action. An Officer that could work in the shadows for them, with out the public image of the Imperial Navy being tarnished. That was, after all, the reason Ali'Zarin was there. A perfect Officer for the role. A personnel file that was edited to ensure that no one could reach him. To ensure that at all times he would be unknown to the public. Taking orders from command, with out command being blamed for those orders. His arms rested behind his back now as he waited for his assignment.

| Thank you for your patience, Captain. Unfortunately, we don't have an assignment for you at the present time that would make use of your, let us say, unique background. One is almost tempted to be disappointed at the ease with which the Empire has been able to stamp out these occasional "brush fires" of rebellion since the Clone Wars; I do lament no longer having a worthy foe. But, of course, it is the well being of the Empire and its worlds that is our concern, even if this can be, at times, a banal task. And a banal task is exactly what I have for you, I'm afraid. I need you to take the Dark Whispers to the Riaoballo Sector and meet with Senator Ray of Dantooine, who is also the administrator of the planet's government. Solicit from him his assessment of Dantooine's defense needs (and do make an assessment of this yourself, too. The Senator has a reputation for hyperbole on this issue, you see). Captain Deamora, it's come to my attention that you have not yet left for Dantooine. The Dark Whispers should certainly be cleared for departure. Is it in need of fuel or provisioning? I can see to it your Star Destroyer is adequately supplied, if that is the problem. If not, we do expect you to be underway as soon as you're able.

However my crew has voiced their own concern of us babysitting a Senator merely because he has gotten cranky, and they view this as a terrible miss use of the ships talents. They will however follow the orders given to us. The ship is currently taking on supplies from having spent the last six months on mission. It will take some time before it is fully stocked and ready to go. I will leave as soon as the final supplies and repairs are completed. Captain Deamora out."

| I don't disagree with you, Captain. It is unfortunate that missions of this sort are necessary, but these rim worlds like to see an Imperial Star Destroyer in-system from time to time to know they haven't been forgotten. We must pretend, you see. But as it happens, you are quite fortunate; your mission has become much more interesting. The planet Alurion, also in the Riaoballo Sector, has foolishly declared itself "independent" of the Empire. It is an entirely unimportant world, but even so, this must not become a precedent. Do stop by Alurion on the way to Dantooine and make a show of force there. Nothing too much, mind you; we don't want a full scale campaign or any significant bombardment at this time. Just something that sends a message to these people that the Empire does not recognize the pitiful declaration that the rebels on the planet have made in their name. Also, be advised the rebels are reported to have captured the post master—the only Imperial official on the planet. You would do well to secure his release, if possible. How you do this, I will leave to your expertise.

| Sadly I have found that the only real way to deal with declarations like this is to show force. It has been fruitful in the past for me to level an entire city, usually the one that is the most vocal point of the rebels that have appeared. Also, if you wish for me to safety return the Imperial Post Master, then I will need to land troops and storm and search every possible building. A full campaign will be difficult to avoid in such a situation. There is though the alternative of wiping out the local rebel stronghold, and blaming the possible death of the post master as a terrorist attack by the rebels.
