| Senator Ray, I'm sure you are aware of the unfortunate state of affairs on your neighboring world, Alurion. My office has been in contact with your chamber of commerce in order to ensure that businesses on Dantooine no longer trade with this world for as long as it believes itself to have seceded from the Empire, but I feel a stronger statement is necessary. The governments of other worlds in the Riaoballo Sector have issued statements condemning the "declaration of independence" by a loud minority on Alurion, and I feel it would be beneficial if Dantooine did as well. Perhaps you would be willing to make a statement of this sort to the Senate? We would appreciate your cooperation on this, Senator. We know that Dantooine's rebellious past is behind it, but it wouldn't hurt to make this absolutely clear with a condemnation of this neighboring rebellion, too. Best regards.

| Grand Vizier, With all due respect to the Empire and to your office, I have more important matters that require my attention then some little squabble occurring with a neighboring planet. Our Imperial Starfleet will no doubt return the planet to the Sovereign of the Empire, therefore I have no need to make a statement on it.

| Senator Ray, Surely you must see that the refusal of Dantooine's government to condemn the insurrection on Alurion while all of the other significant worlds of your sector have condemned it can only be interpreted as support of the insurrection. Silence is consent, Senator. The question of secession is one that was put to rest in the Clone Wars, as were tens of millions of innocent men, women, and children on many, many worlds, including Dantooine. To refuse to condemn the cause of that war now, before it is permitted to cause another war, is profoundly irresponsible of you. To refuse to do so because you're "too busy" is absurd. Pray tell, what are these "more important matters that require your attention"? A few nerfs set loose in Garang, perhaps? I find it hard to believe this is more important to you than preventing a war that could, potentially, begin in your sector. If it is more important to you, questions demand to be asked about your competence to rule Dantooine. Your sector is one of a fortunate few that has not required Imperial Governors, or a Moff. This is because the Empire has had the loyalty of the worlds of your sector and the cooperation of the governments of those worlds. Alurion is no longer loyal, or cooperative. You are not being cooperative, Senator, and if you do not condemn the insurrection on Alurion, it will begin to appear that you aren't loyal, either. If it becomes necessary to appoint a Moff of your sector or a Governor of your world, will you sincerely tell your people that this "isn't important" to you? I suggest you reconsider your obstinacy on this issue, Senator, and join with the other responsible worlds of your sector in condemning the insurrection on Alurion and the prospect of war that it raises.

| Senator Ray, You still have not released a statement. If this is problematic for you, Senator, a statement can be written for you to sign. I don't want to have to tell His Majesty that you are unwilling to condemn a violent, secessionist insurrection against his rule. I suspect this will be rather difficult for you to explain, since the Emperor no doubt will not be as patient with you as I have been.

| Grand Vizier, I regret to inform you that as my office was about to give a public statement, the Empire has apparently made one for me by sending 3 Star Destroyers, and a Carrack over to orbit Dantooine. I can only imagine that the situation is being handled and therefore will not require me to give such a statement as 4 warships will no doubt be able to put down such a small rebellion.
