Admiral,
I present to you my report on Alurion:
SITUATION The situation on the planet appears to be stable. Patrols have moved from a dominate role to more of a support role as local planetary forces move to take over and show that they are able to handle their situation themselves. We have placed several Imperial instructors into their academy to educate new recruits on how Alurion and the Empire will forge a lasting relationship. I believe this will help spread Imperial ideology into the planet and help them see that we are the way of light. We are also assisting in training new recruits and experienced veterans in newer tactics and battle drills to help ensure that riots do not topple governments again. I call this the Horrace Initiative. Order is no doubt restored and is starting to show.
Prefab garrisons have been pulled out as all local ground forces have moved to the newly constructed Imperial base on the outskirts of New Coronet. To show Alurion that we are giving the planet back to them, we have pulled them to their in order to let them take over and spread their Imperial beliefs themselves. Like I said, the Horrace Initiative is to take local forces and assist them as need be in Imperial rules and regulations.
Weapon caches are continued to being discovered and destroyed on sight. We lace the inside with thermal detonators and blow it, then we place targetting beacons for the TIE bombers to lay the final strike. This cuts off 100% access to the caches in the event that there are several rebels wishing to strike. My Imperial Rangers work tirelessly to scout out these caches. Citizens have been kind to tip us off, while others attempt to run us into an ambush. Those individuals, are being dealt with firmly.
However, I do have one situation. Captain Deamora's role was to use his prefab garrison as a local hospital while the one located within the city was being reconstructed. I regret to inform you and the rest of High Command that this order was carried out... about 1/3 of the way. Citizens were being treated however anyone appearing to suffer from weapon burns or any type of injury from weapons such as turbolasers or blasters, were subjected to a prison cell and received little treatment. It pained me to see this and I have forwarded all the reports that my men could have gathered when Deamora pulled out from Alurion, to you. However to ensure the situation stays quiet, each prisoner was given small compensation and sent on their way. However I will not hesitate to put more of an emphasis on the silent part...
And formally, I have received the official surrender of Alurion and have forwarded it to your office and the Grand Vizier's office for viewing.
RECOMMENDATION
I recommend, based on my report, that a perminate Imperial force be stationed on Alurion to continue their roll until official recognition into the Imperial Senate at a time of their convience. I also recommend a commendation for Captain Nelia and Major Jackson for their outstanding performance and support in this mission. Their professionalism and dedication to the mission made it more easier to handle and complete. I am proud to have served with them.
Also, I recommend that a withdrawal of The Star Destroyer Wolfenstein and Captain Nelia's vessel as well. To return to Coruscant and stand by for further instruction on newly pending orders (if any). I feel that with a stationary force on Alurion to be determined by yourself and the rest of High Command would render myself and Captain Nelia useless on Alurion.
That is my report, Admiral.

| Exemplary as usual, General. However, while your concern is appreciated, I'm sure Captain Deamora exercised his best judgment on the treatment of prisoners suspected of rebellious tendencies. I trust you can be relied upon to remain discreet on this particular matter, especially since I suspect the total of number of deaths (and the circumstances of those deaths) may never be conclusively determined. We will consider your recommendations, General, and the withdrawal of the Wolfenstein and the Impavid is so ordered. However, you have touched upon two options here and we are leaning toward the second of them—that is, a permanent Imperial force instead of a local force. We are wary of empowering (or arming) the locals, especially when so few stormtroopers would be required to keep the peace on a planet the size of Alurion that we can easily spare enough of them for this purpose. In fact, the rumor is that the Ruling Council is considering some sort of "arms elimination" option for Alurion and is consulting with, of all people, Bail Organa. It remains to be seen what results from this.
In the meantime, the Wolfenstein is clear to depart. Also, please convey to Captain Nelia that the Impavid is ordered to return to Dantooine to meet with Senator Ray, the planet's administrator, and assess the planet's defense needs. Again, well done, General. Be well.
