Congratulations Zack, you have something to do. Something important, too. This Jedi homicide case has got the attention of the higher ups here on Coruscant and they're sending someone here to work with you on the case. "Why me?" you might be wondering, especially since old Garik is in charge of Special Cases. Good question, Zack. Apparently you are as smart as you are pretty. Well, seems somebody up there doesn't like me. Division thinks I've got too many years behind me to be the point man on this one, so it's all yours. Put on a good show for the higher ups, will you? And remember kid, I'm here to help if you get in trouble. Just call the police.

| You're right, I'm damn pretty, thanks for noticing. But in all seriousness, thanks Garik, really. It's a damn shame - I mean, the rest of Homicide knows you still have plenty left in the tank. Still though, I gotta admit, tracking down a Jedi seems a helluva lot more interesting than what I'm used to. I promise not to outshine you too much, gramps. You wouldn't happen to have any preliminary info on who I'm working with, would you? A Jedi investigation sounds like it'd draw some black-cloaked asshat from one of those top-secret whatevers, and I'd like to know just what I'm getting in to.
P.S. - Sarah says hello, I'm not sure why she asked me to tell you that.

| Well, the thing about having a lot of years behind you is they think you have a lot of axes to grind, too. And yeah, I do. I never did make nice with the Imperials, either. Moff Kadir? Self interested fop if I've ever seen one. Don't get me started on Brandt, either. Anyway, it's true I don't move like I used to and I don't put on a good song and dance for the higher ups. For Sarah though...? I'll do whatever she wants me to. Tell her I say hi too. And I'm glad you liked the broth. Aren't many a man who can stomach the old Taynor Brew, and you held it down alright. Good on you. Er, in you. Sure as the hells not good for you.
I'm on a need to know basis about this Imperial operative, and apparently I don't need to know. Watch out for him though, Zack. Lot of these Imperial types are clueless rubes in grey uniforms. You get one in black though, mind him. Asshat or not, they take themselves way too seriously and you too.
