I hope you don't mind me contacting you in private in the hope that here, outside of a public forum, we can be more candid with one another, or at least I with you. I regret that without even having met you I've found myself in an acrimonious exchange of words with you, and I hope when the Monor II crisis has been resolved (as I don't doubt it will) there will be no animosity that would prevent us from working together on other issues throughout what I'm sure will be a long and distinguished career for you. I certainly have no animosity for you—I simply feel strongly on the crisis at Monor II and it's a common criticism of me that I'm too impulsive in word and deed when I'm passionate about something.
I continue to wish you well in your diplomatic mission at Monor II and I hope you're able to bring this unfortunate state of affairs to a peaceable end. We should meet at some point upon your return to Coruscant to become acquainted and, I hope, to discuss issues of mutual interest to Ralltiir and Empress Teta. In the meantime, Senator, please be safe.

I hope you don't mind I've taken the liberty of your first name. I would just like to further separate business from private and I feel it does an excellent job of making the distinction. You believe in what you believe in, and there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, it is an admirable trait in the jaded and bitter galaxy that we live in. There is absolutely nothing wrong with passion. I'm of noble birth, honesty - however gruff is quite refreshing.
I do sincerely hope that I'm able to bring this all to a peaceful resolution but I fear that between all the hostility and intent already declared on both sides, it will be a failed effort; but I must try.
I look forward to meeting with you upon my return, when I have an idea of when I will be finished here we will have to make plans.
