To: Imperial Fleet Command

From: Robeir XXII, Head of the House of Cron

Imperial Fleet Command,

I have recently been informed by my advisors that our worlds in the Cronese Mandate are currently under attack by various forces. Our ships had replied to an attack on a Vjun station that was being set up outside of Cronese Space. Immediatly after one of our border worlds was hit by an enemy force under the guise of Deralian Traders. It is clear now that, that is not the truth. We are requesting that the Imperial Navy send the nearest vessel to Kismaano. We have enough ships to protect Chandaar at this time, yet the main forces of our fleet were sent to deal with the attack that happened at the Vjun station site.

Signed,

Head of the House of Cron
Ruler of the Cronese Mandate

Mr. Robeir,

The Star Destroyer Endeavor is presently at Gadon, quite near Kismaano as I understand it, preparing to escort a convoy of freighters to Arramanx. I will direct its Captain to assist your forces at Kismaano instead. If you have reason to believe that these events are connected, be advised that the Empire also has ships near Argai and, of course, at the Imperial berth at Chandaar that can assist you. Do be as specific as possible as to who you believe to be responsible for these respective incidents, what belligerent vessels were present, etc. so that the fleet may assess the situation fully.

Signed,

Fleet Admiral Gregor Hines
Star Destroyer Salient, Amaranth Expeditionary Force, et. al.
Permanent Attaché to High Command

Fleet Admiral Hines,

As we understand it, the first attack came to a "Deep Space Sensor Array" That was being set up by the world of Vjun. The vessel in question was a Munificent Star Frigate, an obvious attempt to make it appear that the Cronese Mandate was behind the attack, however, we pushed that aside by sending our own Star Frigate the Helena to the site to help defend the station. The second attack at Kismaano came from a Deralian convoy that was under the signature of Yaktek. Our own sensors have already picked up four vessels that dropped from hyperspace near Chandaar. Currently, it is unknown as to their actions or needs, but it seems that they are scanning any vessels in the area. We will of course keep the Imperial Navy apprised of the events that may come to pass.

Signed,

Head of the House of Cron
Ruler of the Cronese Mandate

Mister Robeir.

I can assure you that the Deralian's aren't responsible for this. The Moff from the Tammuz sector is a colleague, and I am quite sure that there is nothing that goes on in that sector that he does not know about. Also, a recent attack in my sector had also been believed to come from the Deralia sector. I personally think Separatist's remnants are at work here, Imperial Intelligence is currently researching into this, I recommend you contacting Yeorg Olsen, Deputy Director of Imperial Intelligence. Additionally, if you require more aid than Captain Anderson's fleet can provide, inform us immediately. Providing you still have access to comm links.

His excellency.
Tycus Gavin Kilran Moff of the Bright Jewel Sector.
Viscount of Raithal.

Gentlemen,

The Governor of Deralia has confirmed with the local ships registry and there is no such convoy registered to Deralia. I believe this is simple smoke and mirrors intended to draw us away from the correct target. Do we know of anywhere with a grudge against Deralia? This might be the work of "Mr Friend" who is on record as impotently "declaring war" on Deralia (and the Tammuz Sector generally); it would not shock me if he stooped to such a cowardly assault.

Sincerely,

Moff of the Tammuz Sector
