| *Olsen, as the Chief of the Bureau of Operations, quietly ordered the mobilization of Imperial Intelligence assets in the Arkanis Sector; namely, dispatching a small number of operatives independently to Tatooine to observe and report on any apparent Separatist activity and monitor the ingress and egress of ships from the planet—with the light volume of traffic, this wasn't difficult. The scope and scale of the operation was small enough to be more or less invisible, certainly more so to Shiva (if indeed he was on Tatooine. Olsen was doubtful of this). The Deputy Director did not respond to Shiva except in the form of a ping acknowledging the receipt of the transmission—and attempting to track its origin.*

| *There would be little to report of Separatist activity; indeed, the only thing close would be the landing some time ago of a Theta-class shuttle that had been parked within one of Mos Eisley's docking bays and paid for one month in advance. The ping would trace back to one of the seedier dives of Mos Eisley, where it had been sent from a public terminal.*
