Subject: A meeting

Greetings,

I visited your station once before and it was short but pleasant. I apologize for the abrupt end to it. At the time, I had matters to tend to. I hope this does not affect any impression you have upon me in a negative way. Anyway, I wanted to contact you regarding a few matters. Firstly, I would like to contract the Sluis Van shipyards to construct a new personal vessel of my own. I would like for it to be a Consular-class cruiser with a Charger c70 retrofit. Secondly, I wanted to speak to you about a non-profit organization I recently established focused on promoting Non-Human Rights. I am fairly certain you faced discrimination frequently due to Human High Culture, I would like to help you in any way I can. Please let me know ASAP to whether I could make another trip to Sluis Van.

Sincerely,

Tremaine Fowlkes

Re: A meeting

Senator Fowlkes,

I understand you are a busy man and your works often takes you at times when it may seem convenient; no harm done though. Water under the hover-bridge, one might say. Sluis Van Shipyards can easily build a Consular-class with the c70 refit, or if you wish for a bit of extra money, we can add the personal Sluissi touch and give it that little bit extra that will set it above any standard c70 refit; the choice is yours.

I have faced discrimination, yes, but there is little to do but grin and bear it. You are more than welcome to visit Sluis Van whenever you wish.

Regards,

Toben Domon

RE: RE: A meeting

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it takes about six months for a Consular-class cruiser with a c70 refit to be built. Maybe a little more since I think I'll want to spend a little more money on a better touch than a standard retrofit. I am currently on Chandaar, capital of the Cronese Mandate and I have to make a brief stop after I leave there but I should be arriving Sluis Van within a week.

Thank you for deciding to meet with me. I will be bringing a guest along as well, if that's okay with you.

Regards,

Re: Re: A meeting

Senator Fowlkes,

This is more or less correct, and though Sluis Van Shipyards prides itself on quality over speed any day, we can if need be turn it out faster if you wish, though I'd not wish to compromise the building. It is a work of art, after all, regardless of the type of vessel we produce, with beauty and quality intertwined. Nonetheless, you may drop by at your leisure. Might I inquire as to the nature of this guest?

Regards,

RE: RE: RE: A meeting

Senator Domon,

No, you do not need to speed anything up. I would like my ship to be in best shape as it can be. This guest is a young woman by the name of Jalaila Kelrune. She works at the Senate Rotunda, and has been traveling with me for some time now. I look forward to seeing you at Sluis Van.

Regards,
