A courier would arrive at the office of Senator Avadrie volFyr with a letter that he was paid to deliver directly to her.

To: Lady Avadrie volFyr
Senator of Empress Teta

From: Mr. Winter
Business man

Subject: Interest in the Empress Teta System

My Dear Lady Avadrie volFyr,

I hope that this written letter finds you well, as well as those close and dear to you. I am writing in hopes that I may speak with you in person about setting up a new company within the Empress Teta system to help boost the system's commerce and revenue. It would be a great honor if I were able to meet with you in person, and hope that I may be allowed the privilege to meet with you and speak further over a warm cup of tea.

Sincerely,

Mr. Winter

The courier was put through the usual security processes available to Senators on Imperial Center, the hand written letter and the courier would only make it to the Senator if they were clean in terms of the Senator's continued well being. Once this was completed to the satisfaction of the Prince, her chief of security; the courier was escorted to the Senator's office.

She received the letter from the man and took a few moments to glance over it and see if there was a return address, or some other manner of contacting whomever sent it since it wasn't delivered over the usual channels. At first she thought it quaint that someone should deliver a hand written letter to her, then she found it of course suspicious - why send communication in such a manner except to keep it from being discovered by those that might be watching? She held up a hand for the courier to wait while she took a longer moment to read the letter in its entirety. Mr. Winter? Who was that? Why hadn't he given the name of his company, or something about what his company did? A warm cup of tea? Hardly. She had never been much of a tea drinker, perhaps she could have him meet her at the Clarendox? It was a routine place for her to go, crowded and public enough and smack in the middle of Moff Brandt's considerable control of Imperial Center. Then she decided to ask the courier,

"Is there some way for me to contact this Mr. Winter or must I pass a message through you?"

The courier spoke up when the question was asked.

"I was informed to remain until you had a reply for Mr. Winter. I don't know much ma'am. I'm only doing my job."

She smiled brightly for the courier,

"Of course, you're only doing your job." She sighed then and walked around behind her desk and sat down briefly and considered her options. She wasn't in the usual habit of meeting with people she couldn't have her staff verify before she met with them, but perhaps there were other options. Obviously this Mr. Winter had concerns about someone knowing that he had contacted her, else what would there be a need for this manner of message otherwise? The Empire? Rival businesses? Who knew? Perhaps it would be best to trust her intuition in this. She felt apprehensive about the whole thing but also deadly curious. Who was Mr. Winter? What did he have in mind for Empress Teta? Or was it just some kind of cover?

"Ask him to send another message with where he would like to have his cup of tea." She said, her bright green eyes directed to the courier,

"And when of course." She added. It was simple enough, if he suggested somewhere entirely too seedy she would know him for what he was, some kind of criminal or con man out to do her harm, if he suggested a respectable establishment, she would be well within the Imperial sphere of safety, and she would just bring Raphael and Captain Tiyr. She did owe a date to Moff Brandt, she could always bring him, she considered.

With the reply in hand the courier would bow before leaving, taking the reply back to Mr. Winter, who awaited the response. Once it was within his hands though, Mr. Winter had a choice to make. There were few worlds he could openly journey to that wouldn't cause him a problem, considering the bounty on his head, Coruscant being one of those, which immediately marked it out from any such journey. Naboo, the former world he tried to help fend off the Empire, was another such place, even if he had friends there he'd wish to see again and get to safety, there was one world though that he could go to, a neutral world where all parties involved would be safe, provided they followed the rules.

A courier would return to the Senators office with a reply, of course going through the security check before he was allowed in where he gave the response given to him.

"Mr. Winter would be honored if you joined him for tea on the planet of Aargau. A neutral world where all parties involved wouldn't have a home field advantage over the other, so to say." The courier reached into his bag to bring out the rest of the note as he read from it. "Mr. Winter request that you meet with him in one weeks time at the Autumnwind Cafe on Aargau so you can speak in person."

A home field advantage? A letter addressed to her wishing to discuss business matters within her sector, and the businessman was worried about home field advantage? She had never even heard of the world, she'd have to have Dandric look it up. Perhaps Captain Tiyr had been there sometime in his past, maybe during the Clone Wars. She had no idea. Could she even commit to this? She took the time to look at her electronic handheld planner, she was free in a week. The event on Llord wasn't for another three weeks, she could appear in the Senate electronically, hmm, but it all seemed very cloak and dagger for a routine business matter. Scratch that, it obviously wasn't a routine business matter. She wondered what it was all about. Was it something illegal? Something seditious perhaps? Her instincts bordered on being curious and telling her to stay away.

"I'll be there." She wondered as she answered if it wasn't perhaps some kind of trap for her, but she had means to combat that she reasoned and to the bold go the riches, after all. She'd just have to wait and see. She made a mental note to have Dandric research the world and the mentioned meeting place. Perhaps it would also be due diligence to see if a Holonet search could turn up anything on a one "Mr. Winter".
