| Sirs,
I am concerned by the rumours in the fleet that there may be sedition among some of the sailors in the fleet. I would like to (so far as possible) segregate officers, non-commissioned officers and crewmen who may be suspected of such.
I propose that these men be (so far as possible) removed from shore appointments in the fleet (as in a training capacity they pose more threat through dissemination of ideology), and be placed on the Alsakan Aegis Fleet if possible.
Placing them aboard the Aegis fleet will keep them away from any revolutionary activity at home and allow the rigours of shipboard discipline to correct any deficiencies in their observances etc (the presence of political officers should root out those who are particularly problematic). Hopefully we can nip this in the bud and keep any revolutionaries securely at an arm's length.
I should note that under no circumstances should officers who's loyalty to the Alsakan or our system of Government is in doubt be placed as OC of vessels but in the event of senior ranks falling into this category they should be placed in Squadron roles which do not put them in a position of heavy responsibility (Sports Officer, Families Officer, Training Officer etc).
As ever, use discretion.
Yours sincerely,
Verence Terrawin
