A STATEMENT ON THE "DERALIAN CHASTISEMENT ACT"
To whom it may concern, the Imperial Bank has assumed the debt of the King of Deralia to Dantooine in the amount of 1,300,000 credits and paid it on his behalf, in compliance with the Deralian Chastisement Act. The King of Deralia has a period of 30 days to reimburse the Empire in the amount of 1,300,000 credits, during which period an interest of 5% will accrue on a daily basis. The Empire has also postponed for 30 days the enforcement of the Chastisement Act's requirement for Deralia to relinquish posession of its DP-20 gunships to Dantooine to provide a more reasonable period of time for this to be arranged between Deralia, Dantooine, and if necessary the Empire or one of its subsidiaries, such as Imperial Surplus, Inc., which stands ready to facilitate the transfer of these vessels should the Chastisement Act remain in effect at the end of the 30 day grace period herein announced.
