| Dear Ms. volFyr,
I have been thinking a lot recently about the debate regarding Mr. Oriel's proposal for holobooks. Senator Cerra's attempt at an argument made me think a little harder about the education process, or lack thereof in certain parts of the galaxy.
That brings me to why I am writing to you today. I attended a fine school on Chandrila when I was sixteen before I went to University for politics. Some in the galaxy call it "finishing school". If I read your bio correctly, you attended one as well.
It got me to thinking...there are too many young women in the galaxy who are not being granted the proper educations that a lady requires. Unfortunately, there are also public figures (even in our own senate!) who are a bad influence on the female youth. Not all of them have the opportunity to attend schools as you and I have. I am a firm believer that behavior and decorum is what makes a woman respectable and able to attain a decent place in society.
Of course, it is not for everyone, but I believe that every young woman who wants an education should be given the opportunity to better herself if she wishes. So I am proposing, to you, dear Ava, that we come up with a joint proposal to present to the senate. I am sure that if written well and presented properly we would gain much support. I trust that Senators Ordan and Oriel, along with Governor Oswaldt would be much in favor of such an idea granted that it is thought out and the funding is from the correct sources.
Please do let me know what you think as soon as you are able. Perhaps then we can meet in person, maybe on Chandrila, to discuss the matter further?

Dear Ilanah,
It's horrid, isn't it? In this day and age in the galaxy, it is more important than ever that a woman know how to carry herself and behave in public. I'll be frank - it won't be long after aliens lose most of their rights that we will be next (women, that is).
And we certainly aren't helping our cause by allowing such behavior to be given such a public stage. I do hope that Garos IV doesn't renominate Queen Cerra for the Senate, I'm simply concerned the woman might have too much on her plate to be an able Senator - I don't know if I could fill in for both King Leonard and attend the Senate as it requires, so I can begin to sympathize with the poor woman. She must be frazzled.
I completely support this idea. I'm currently making a round of some outer rim worlds on financial business for my King, but I can stop at Chandrila on my way back to Imperial Center?

Of course I was not trying to imply anything regarding Senator Cerra's behavior or lack thereof, but since you mention it...yes, I agree.
I am glad that you like the idea. I would love if you would stop by our home on Chandrila when you are finished with your trip. We have a lovely guest house that you and your entourage are more than welcome to stay at as long as you like. It will be so nice to have the company, especially with my husband traveling as he does. I know that he looks forward to meeting you also.
Just let me know when you will be arriving and how many are in your party and I will have everything arranged.

| Dear Ilanah,
I have at least one more stop (Chandaar, of all places - I do hope its not a mistake) scheduled, but after that I will contact you to make the arrangements.
Perhaps we could discuss forming a women's coalition of sorts within the Senate, with the intent of proactively protecting women's rights?

Was she? Reading the news and some of the more entertaining Outer Rim publications, (such as the Herald) I am concerned for the poor woman. I will have to make a point to visit her.
