We would like to apologize for any difficulties that we have had within the Senate. Naturally, we respect that your worlds (as the majority of them and their people were loyalist) should remain capable of producing their own vessels if they wish to do so. However, we believe that your Mandate would be better served by purchasing the high quality lines available from Rothana and it's parent company, Kuat Drive Yards rather than attempting it's own production and research and development.
We can offer your Mandate excellent rates in order to bring the build quality and design you see in your Nebulon-B Frigates across the fleet. This would result in a greater standardization of training across the fleet, meaning that your crewmen can be better equipped in order to face the many challenges they may face across in the region. Furthermore, consolidating more vessels into a KDY-Rothana Contract has the potential to increase standardization of parts, meaning that you don't have to pay the disparate fees various companies may charge for different power couplings.
Another worthwhile factor in investing in our vessels is that it would demonstrate your state's commitment not only to the Cronese Mandate but to the Empire more generally, and to make the vessels more easy for your Imperial overseers to operate.
The associated costs of producing your own vessels, if you want them to be of the same quality, are undoubtedly huge. And while we do not doubt the ability of the Cronese Mandate to produce good ships, the associated costs make producing vessels of anything like equivalent power to most KDY designs without a tradition of shipbuilding and old designs to work from must be catastrophically expensive and cannot be sustainable for small sectors such as yours. Thus we would like to work together to give your people value for money, instead of forcing them to pay several times the cost of ships in research and design.
On any other matters in which we can help or be of assistance, we would be more than happy to accomodate if we are able.

| Mr. Kadram,
The Cronese Mandate has its own vessels that have already replaced the outdated vessels that formed the Mandate fleet. Compared to the vessels that the KDY build, those vessels that are built by Chandaar Shipbuilding are designed specifically for Sector Defense and rapid deployment. We have little need for the highly destructive vessels built by KDY, when vessels designed and built by Cronese Mandate Manufacturing Incorporated will better serve the people of the Cronese Mandate, and the Fleet that defends the Cronese Mandate.

I would like to remind you that Kuat Drive Yards has a line of lighter ships suitable for the defensive uses mentioned by the Cronese Mandate. These provide real value for affordable prices, such as the Arquitens-class an excellent fast Corvette for anti-pirate duties, or the KDY Escort Carrier designed and optimized for the defense of the spacelanes, such as those running through your Mandate.
Perhaps you would also be interested in our Star Galleon-class, an excellent defensive vessel built to protect hugely high value cargoes and provide an escape for it if that defense fails, now the Mandate has large sums of gold to shift, the Star Galleon would seem a logical choice.
In addition, we have many options when it comes to stations and repair docks, and we would be very happy to explore contracting to produce these replenishment and repair stations for you, if your Mandate has an interest in such space stations.
