| To: Imperial Fleet Command CC: Admiral Hines
From: Captain Anderson; Endeavor
Subject: Cronese Mandate
Sirs,
This message is to inform you that currently the Endeavor is awaiting orders while docked in the Imperial berth at Chandaar. I've received various bits and pieces of information concerning the blockade and the happenings in the Cronese Mandate while stationed at the berth. I believe that a simple and easy solution can come of this that would be best for both sides. Sirs, I understand that I am merely a Captain in the Imperial Navy, though I've seen enough of the situation to understand and suggest that the Empire put in place an Imperial Governor for the time being that would be able to ensure that the continued hostilities both against the Cronese Mandate, and the Ethnic Cronese, as well as any hostile intents from the Cronese to its neighbors, or from its neighbors to the Cronese can be kept under control and dealt with through the new office of the Imperial Governor put in place.
Signed,
Line Captain Anderson Imperial Navy Captain of the Endeavor

| CC: The Sector Governors of the Auril Sector, Belderone Sector, Thanium Worlds, Allied Tion and Tion Hegemony.
Gentlemen of the High Command,
You will pardon the intrusion I am sure, but I believe this issue may be better directed to the Ruling Council itself, but his Majesty has been greatly concerned of late with the bellicose conduct on all sides of this gordian knot of a region. Frankly, both sides need to cool off, and this hysterical rhetoric we have heard from the Cronese Mandate about grounding all it's trade is a insane as the slaughter committed by the Clansmen of Embaril on the Cronese, or by the Cronese on the people of Caluula.
Cooler, more Coreward looking heads (not involved in the conniving or politicking of the region or the Rim more generally) may be required I feel. This suggestion has been taken onboard, Captain, and we thank you for it, and I shall make sure that the Ruling Council itself debates the matter.
The Governors in the surrounding regions must equally keep their Coreward looking head, and must continue to prosecute any attempts to inflame the situation politically or militarily, using whatever force is needful within their own spheres of influence. As Imperial Governors they will no doubt be aware that their first loyalty is to the Emperor, who we all serve, and not to petty local interests of any persuasion.
Yours Sincerely,
Lord Gregorious Gemmell Advisor to the Emperor Imperial Ruling Council

| I do pardon the intrusion of course, Lord Gemmell. And I agree this is a matter for the Ruling Council to decide (but for the record, Captain Anderson, you did go through the proper channels and I'm appreciative of that and the initiative that you've shown). With that said, I will leave this to the deliberations of the Council.
