I hope you are well on Naboo and I hope to return there soon at the conclusion of this Senate session. I miss it. But in the meantime, I write to you for your counsel on Brentaal's proposal to acknowledge the Empire's "authority" to remove monarchs who are "delinquent," a word which is apparently meant to mean "anti-Imperial." This is a difficult vote for us, considering our recent history. I am reluctant to vote in favor of what happened to Queen Apailana happening to another queen of another world. But I'm also concerned for you, Your Majesty, if our vote against this proposal is seen as "anti-Imperial."
You know what I did at Carratos, and so you know that this is a danger I'm willing to bring upon myself. But I would never bring it upon my queen or anyone else without consulting them first and informing them of the danger. And so I defer to your judgment, Your Majesty, and I await your response.

It is times like these that we must be extremely careful and be as diplomatic as possible. This bill could put many worlds and rulers in harm’s way because others do not agree with their choices. Perhaps it is time we take a page from Garos IV’s leadership and frame of mind. We must stand up for what we feel is right and the sovereignty of individual worlds are far more important at this point. I would advise you to vote against this measure in the most diplomatic way you can find.
We miss you here Representative, I look forward to seeing you again. I have also sent some tickets for various cultural events for Senator Binks, please be sure that he gets them.
