There appears to have been an grievous misunderstanding between your two worlds. A misunderstanding that could lead to war and many innocent lives being lost. While I regret that I could not contact the both of you in time to prevent the execution of the Sluissi engineers, I do fear this crisis becoming worse before this chapter in history is closed, and I also fear a spill-over of violence should such events continue down the path they seem to be headed. I invite the both of you into my office, where on behalf of our respective governments, we might reach an understanding as it relates to this horrible affair. I would love to hear from the both of you as soon as possible.

This 'misunderstanding' as you call it is nothing less than gross incompetence on the part of the Vjunite legal system. However, the Sluis Sector has chosen not to engage in an armed conflict pending a meeting with Khedive Thisst. I appreciate as always the cool head you bring to the Senate in balance to some of the more hot-headed Human senators.
