| Dear Mr. Veritas,
I have no doubt that you have heard about the accident that I was involved in, and have also heard that my memory is not quite in tact. I wish things were different, but I must live with what was dealt to me for now, until I can remember the things that I am missing. I have a feeling that you might be able to help me with that, though I am slightly unsure. To be honest, I am not entirely sure who my friends are and who are not.
There was a document in my desk that named you custodian of my son if anything happened to Kal or I. His godfather, I believe. So that makes me think that we were friends, of some sort, before this happened. Especially if I trusted you with my child.
With that in mind, and I hate to ask, but I was wondering if you could help me some. I am not sure who else to ask, honestly, especially since Kal has left. He says he is working....do you know what it is he does for a living?
I would love it if you would come to Chandrila, or Caden and I could come there, if you have time. At least think about it, Mr. Veritas. I am not sure who else I can trust.
