| Henceforth and Hereby, you are summoned by the Senate Ethics Committee to testify and answer questions as may be put to you by members of the Committee in a hearing to be held today.
You are under obligation to attend the hearing and will be granted leave from your current Imperial duties to do so. Should you fail to attend, this summons will be repeated alongside a subpoena to attend the Committee. You are advised that you may bring what aid you may feel you require, and such documents as you feel support your conduct and testimony to be given.
If you have any specific requirements please inform the Proctor Serjeant at the door and I am sure he will make every effort to accommodate you. Any witnesses you wish to call must be listed (the list to be presented on entry) and holonet communication lines be given so they may testify, alternatively they may be brought with you.
The Senate Ethics Committee has the tradition of holding hearings under oath, and so you should be aware that any evasion, equivocation or dishonesty may be regarded as perjury by yourself and you may risk being held in Contempt of Senate or liable to criminal prosecution if you do so.
