I noticed your name on a list of witnesses who Senator Ryuun has called to testify on his behalf at the Ethics Committee hearing into his conduct. I hope you're aware, Exar, that one of the things this hearing will focus on is the patriotic character of Senator Ryuun. If his witnesses are going to vouch for Senator Ryuun's patriotism, the patriotism of the witnesses themselves must also be thoroughly scrutinized. You've built up a solid pro-Imperial reputation over the last year or so, and it would be unfortunate for the anti-Imperial remarks you've made in the past to be dredged up and put on public display, erasing the progress you've made. I hope you reconsider testifying so that your reputation isn't dragged down with Ryuun's.

Rest assured that this comes at a shocking time. While I would like to be present for the hearing, I'm afraid that I have a new plantation opening on Dantooine to be present at, as well as opening the new food storage unit as required by my recently passed bill. Give my regards to members of the committee and to Mr. Ryuun himself. And do please note that next time, rather then demand my presence, that asking first goes along way.
