| Gentlemen,
It has been brought to my attention that the religion of Vianism is quasi-prominent on Lorrd. This is not pleasing to the the Ruling Council, the Empire or to Grand Vizier Pestage. Nor is this a pleasing fact to me, nor is the fact that Vianism is spread throughout the Kanz Sector such a pleasing fact. Trust that I will be talking to the Argazdans and the Sipsk'ud quite firmly as well.
I prefer to work within local channels before moving to my own methods. Gentlemen, I urge you to convince your people to remove Vianism from their belief structure. I realize it is not widely practiced of course; polls show the highest number of Vianists living in the Frezen Province. Lord Bowe, I trust you will deal with this quickly and accordingly. If you have any comments or queries, please let me know.
Regards,
Kanzad Shirnoq Moff, Kanz Sector

| Moff Shirnoq,
I can safely assure you that the Kinyov Province is free of Vianist issues. I have long since convinced people to move away from a religion that spawned countless years of slavery among the Lorrdian people. However, I will expand my efforts to the rest of Lorrd to ensure this matter is dealt with.
Regards,
Alyn Stark Lord of Kinyov Senior Captain, Retired, Republic Navy Head of House Malos (former) Licensed bounty hunter Majority shareholder, Lorrd Engineering Owner, Stark Defense Conglomerate Civilian Medal of Honor recipient Representative, Lorrd (10 BBY-9 BBY)

| Your Excellency,
Our friend, Lord Stark, has an unusual interpretation of this issue. Few, if anyone on Lorrd shares the "Starkian" view of Vianism that it is somehow responsible for slavery. It is, more often than not, viewed as having been a source of strength for the people during the enslavement of our world. It simply wouldn't have endured as a religion on Lorrd, as it has, if the people associated it with slavery. I suggest you brush up on your Torphceris, Alyn. Perhaps you and your lovely bride-to-be can catch a performance of it in Qatamer?
But I for one accept neither view of Vianism—religion is slavery of the mind and has no place among a proud, Human race. Gentlemen, you know how often I have spoken of the need for Lorrd to leave the old ways behind and embrace Imperial culture. You will find no greater ally in the eradication of Vianism than yours truly.
Mirabile dictu,
P.S. Kanzad, will you join me for some refreshments and a friendly wager at the opening ceremony of the racing season on Kelm next week?
Jareth Bowe Lord of the Frezen Province

| Gentlemen,
Whether or not either of you do not accept Vianism, or whether or not your province has none, Lord Stark, or whether your province has all of them, Lord Bowe, all that matters is that Lorrd moves away from the antiquated religion. That is what the Empire wants done, so once it is complete, we can all go back to the nice, calm process of making profits.
Lord Bowe, I will stop by to greet you next week if the schedule allows. Ideally, the start of the racing season will allow for some calming of my business.
Regards,
Kanzad Shirnoq Moff, Kanz Sector
