I write on behalf of the populace of the Abrion Sector today. I am pleased to announce that through the hard work and continued contributions from both Abrion Sector citizens and local law enforcement alike, the sector itself has become a safe haven for those who wish to be gainfully employed. Profits are up, crime is at an all-time low and I ask that some form of Imperial award be granted to the citizens who have come together to make an Outer Rim sector into such a paradise. Naturally, I have rewarded or given awards to my own men for their contributions, but I feel a ceremony of some kind and an award coming from higher than myself would only further boost the morale and loyalty of the sector's citizens to the Empire.

I'll recommend to the Emperor that he grace the Abrion Sector with a formal visit, in recognition of the commitment of its people to the prosperity of the Empire. Meanwhile, with this good economic news, what is your feeling about the ability of the Abrion Sector to absorb an increase in taxes? Calling upon the good and patriotic people of the Abrion Sector to make a greater commitment to the Empire as a result of their prosperity could be a sterling example to other sectors, no? The Ruling Council is interested in your thoughts on this.

Since productivity is at a very high level, I do not believe an increase in taxes will bring about any loss of morale or problems. I would be more than willing to see that the Abrion Sector is utilized as a positive example to other sectors. It would help as well, to evolve with the coming times, if certain older vessels of the Abrion Sector Fleet were upgraded or perhaps traded out for something newer or more reliable.
