The Governorship of Alurion is officially placed open for tender by all Imperial Friendly Planetary and Multi-Planetary groups, the Governorship will run for ten years from the time of the bidder winning. Bids will be accepted only if they provide a coherent plan to Improve and Expand the Alurion economy.

For the sake of transparency all bids will be listed here publicly and the Sector Governorate will make a decision regarding who is granted the world at the end of bidding based on who it is felt offers the best deal for the Empire and Raioballo Sector, an excellent opportunity for worlds seeking to place down a first Colony in a diverse and economically growing Sector.

I invite the first bidder to step forward.

Moff Ribaldequin Hector Charles Augustus of the Raioballo Sector
Duke of Shola
Scion to the Throne of Deralia
Descendant of Emperor Arterius I

A few questions if I may, Moff Ribaldequin?

When accepting the responsibility of Alurion and it's economy and citizens versus costs, is the recent Alurion rebellion that led to a massive Imperial retaliation taken into account? Also, what percentage of the world is not covered in tar?

Around 50% of the worlds surface is not covered in tar.

The Imperial response to the Alurion rebellion was responsible, moderate and prudent - it did not effect the worlds intrinsic habitability or value in any way.

That is good news about the world's surface; I was not concerned with and damage the Imperial response might have caused; simply concerned that the Alurion natives might be sullen and uncooperative with whomever is named governor. As such, it may take more initial credits and a firmer hand and I was simply curious if such would offset the initial payment in exchange for increased returns to yourself further down the contract.
