| Senator,
What think you of this ruckus between Lorrd and Auril?
Impressive raid those chaps pulled off, no?

| Senator Ordan,
I am not sure yet. I am currently, however, organizing an hearing to look into it as are my duties. Hopefully, both sides will be open and cooperative. The raid was impressive, although I admit that my military knowledge and experience is severely lacking. My government has, however, worked with the Auril Sector Irregulars before, in defense of our mutual ally, the Tion Hegemony. They are an honorable group.
While I am writing you, Senator, would you be open to being a stand-by military expert for the Human Rights Monitoring and Crisis Resolution Sub-Committee?
Sincerely,
Augusta Aurelius Queen Conosrt of Deralia Chair of the Human Rights Monitoring and Crisis Resolution Sub-Committee of the Planetary Defense Committee
Senator of Deralia and the Tammuz Sector (30 BBY - 18 BBY, 10 BBY - Present)

| Senator,
I've got duties to attend to on Imperial Center I'm afraid. However, I can spare the time required to appear via holo, even if I cannot travel along with yourself.
My military opinion on the attack is that it was that while rather crude, it was an excellent example of asymmetrical warfare. They absolutely tore apart that Cardan station without so much as blinking - probably the only successful attack run an IPV-1 has had in decades! The Guard-class I designed proved its worth too, an excellent ramship as it turns out.
While ramming is a crude, it is brutally effective on such static positions and indeed on damaging larger but less dense craft if you're in what is essentially a glorified tug with a spike on the front (The Guard-class).
I think this pretty much vindicates the placement of extensive tractor beam batteries on the Imperial-class and newer ships that would've allowed them to help fend off or misdirect small ramships a lot better. Despite being outnumbered and outgunned some 2:1, in Cash terms the Auril forces struck causing circa ten times more loss of property than they suffered (despite losing four IPV-1s to ramming).
I've dealt with the Auril Sector Moff many times before, let me know if you want an introduction, old Manfred went to school with myself back on Anaxes, a good chap if a little more outspoken than the more reserved Anaxsi such as eye - but warriors have oft been blunt spoken and I suspect he rankles at being stuck administering such a dull Sector.
Sincerely,
Senator Hubert Ordan __________________________
