Mr. Kadram,

I need the pricing for certain items, if Lorrd wished to purchase them. The following would be what we would require:

  • 4x Tanglespace Interdiction Arrays
  • 2x Hermes-class comms arrays
  • 1x Rim-class defense monitor

A pricelist would be sent, the Rim-class would be comparable to other Frigates in price, around 33% higher than the Price of a Nebulon-B, which was cheap considering it's much larger size and firepower. The Tanglespace Array would be extremely expensive (as it utilized an extremely hard to work compound) at circa ten million. The Command Arrays would be around 1/5th the cost of an Imperial Star Destroyer, representing their expensive construction and the fact they utilize technology at the very cutting edge of Comms knowledge anywhere in the known galaxy.

Dear Sir,

Rothana is able to provide a Tanglespace Array (a showroom model) within one week. The others would be produced within six weeks and shipped and assembled within one further week.

The first Hermes-class Command Array will be made available within two weeks, as it is a showroom model under construction. Transport and assembly would add around another ten days.

The second Hermes-class Command Array would take around two months to produce due to the sophisticated fitting out required on the finely tuned Comminications modules aboard, and again another ten days to deliver and assemble.

The Rim-class Monitor would take around six weeks to have built and fitted out, and due to it's lack of a hyperdrive would take another three days to ship to Lorrd but if you'd like to send a crew to Rothana it could be trained during fitting out.

Naturally, we do not doubt your creditability as an Imperial Member world, but as you are a first time customer it is our policy to require payment in advance or a letter of credit from one of the Banks recognized by Imperial Charter and who's assets are suitably large to guarantee payment. Rothana Heavy Engineering itself does not offer credit on purchases.

Yours Sincerely,

Schmuel Kadram
Governor of Rothana

Unfortunately, Mr. Kadram, the time schedule will not fit what we have in mind. I thank you for the generous offer though, and we will certainly consider your products in the future.

Lord Stark,

If time is of the essence, then there are surely an array of surplus products from the Clone Wars we could have functioning quicker or almost immediately if you were willing to take them on with partial functionality.

We also have several starfighter models that have large numbers stockpiled in surplus. The Rothana-class Heavy Corvette can be produced inside two weeks.

For the other vessels, I am told it's possible to take two weeks off the production time of the Outer Rim-class Monitor and a two weeks off the Hermes-class due to a customer (who wishes to remain anonymous) agreeing to allow a Lorrdian order to take precedence in the queue for production.

The only other customer ahead of you on the drydock that is fitted to build Outer Rim-class is unwilling to give up his place in the line pro-bono-Lorrdio, but is willing to consider doing so for payment of five million credits (in Imperial Credits, produce or negotiable securities).

Naturally, it's very rare we lobby our customers to consider delaying their order so another order may be expedited, but Rothana Heavy Engineering is sympathetic to the urgency of your situation and we would be extremely keen to see Lorrd added to our list of esteemed customers.

Governor Kadram,

With the recent change in time agenda, Lorrd will require one Tanglespace Array as quickly as possible, with the second as close to the heels as behind the first. As for the Hermes-class, do what you can within a week. If it is not ready, then you may as well put it on hold until the end of the conflict. With the open space within your docks, I would like to pay you to produce two squadrons of X-1 dropships. After these orders are complete, I would be willing to discuss further Rothana designs.

Regards,
