Autocrat,
I have read the previous files before I took my position and it is clear that the former government and the Auril Systems had their spats in the past to the point of firing shots. Such hostilities are something that I do not wish for, though as I'm sure you'd agree, a good fight now and again keeps the blood running. Sir, we are all citizens of the Galactic Empire, more important though we are all citizens of the Tion Cluster, the only difference being the names Tionese and the name Cronese which has been bestowed upon the Tionese of the Kingdom of Cron. We all know the ancient stories of the great pirate Emperor Xim, a Tionese who ruled from the Kingdom of Cron and created an Empire. I seek to bring out two people back together as one, as one working people. The galaxy is tired of seeing these constant Tionese fights against each other and against others, however the galaxy would not openly speak of its fear of the Tion Cluster.
They fear the Tion Cluster, they watch in hopes that we continue to tear each other apart for they know the true power we can bring to the galaxy if we stopped fighting each other and joined together to stand together. I am not here to claim so land of the Auril Sector, or to exact revenge for an age old fued. My brother of blood I am here to see the Tionese and Cronese work together in peace to better each other. I am extending this olive branch to you. On Chandaar there is an empty building, one built using the funds of the Cronese Government, this empty building is lacking one thing, a Tionese Ambassador of the Auril Systems.

Well, we surely have had our differences in the past, but I am sure you will remember there has been no incidence of the forces of my world and it's allies ever raising the sword except in the defense of Tionese lives or their Governments. I am amenable to the idea of a rapprochement between us.
May I also politely advise you not to call the father of my people Xim, a Pirate; he was a hero who did what he had to and sold his life dearly for the love of the Tionese everywhere. However, in general I see your point - we would indeed be more of a force to be reckoned with together and we are greatly appreciative that the "New Mandate for the Cronese" guarantees the rights of the Tionese as well as the Cronese and all other humans.
While we have had our differences, may I remind you also of one thing. Never has there been an act of violence against any innocent, Cronese or otherwise, commissioned or encouraged by myself. Within the Auril Union Military there is a penalty of death by firing squad in the event of any killing, rapine, looting or mistreatment of those we
We are concerned by the idea of the Cronese Mandate sending colonists to worlds that (it may sound cliche) to us are monuments to the many billions who legend tells us were slaughtered by Huttese callousy. I would like to invite you to establish an Embassy on Nespis VII and in return might we expect the same on Chandaar.
I would like to propose we also jointly sign the following pact.
"We the parties undersigned declare a state of amity and peace to exist between us.
The parties recognize the limits of their respective areas of influence and agree not to impede upon them without permission.
Settlers are to be free to cross the border both ways, but in both cases shall be expected to assimilate into a human society, not one on ethnic lines.
The undersigned parties recognize eachothers sovereignty over their respective domains and guarantee the independence and security of both.
Both parties will cooperate over patrol on the space lanes and in the event either is attacked the other shall do all within their power to protect them.
Both parties undertake to punish Ethnic violence swiftly and place the capital punishment upon all those who commit violent ethnic hate crimes.
The Union of the Worlds of the Auril Sector undertakes forever to recognize the King of the Cronese Mandate as the King of Cron beholden only to the Emperor.
Reciprocally the Cronese Mandate undertakes forever to recognize Hector Cynum and his successors as Negus of the Tionese, beholden only to my liege the Emperor. In addition Hector Cynum and his successors are recognized as having the right to the title of Shah of the Adega System and Emir of Ossus.
The Parties both undertake one final commitment, that is that they subordinate themselves utterly to the rules and edicts of the Galactic Empire. The Parties restate their belief that there is no higher Lord than the Emperor Palpatine himself, ruler of the Galaxy. May providence smile upon this concord, and may this be a symbol of our two peoples laying aside the internecine fighting of the past so that we might walk forward together, hand in hand with only one identity that matters - that is that of being Imperial Subjects."
I'm sick of conflict. I believe that together we can be stronger.

The pact appears to be sound, however before it is signed I must bring it forth to the Cronese Government in full. I am sure though that the other Ministers are more than willing to accept the terms outlined. In the mean time I wish to extend to you a proposition, though more of an invitation to join the Outer Rim Commerce Alliance. In the recent history the Cronese Mandate has sought out allies across the Outer Rim to bolster Commerce and strengthen all parties involved. Members that have joined so far have been the Birgis System of the Dalonbian Sector, the Akuria System in the Oplovis Sector, the Corvis Minor System of the Ciutric Sector, all three of which are positioned around the Kanz Sector, whom I believe you just recently stood against. The final member is Koiogra System of the Grohl Sector, with recent invitations to the plants Arkonne III, Camaria, and Tarabba of the Tarabba Sector, the plants Chagaria and Syboona of the Danjar Sector and the planets Taborin, Vedis IV and Xagobah of the Mayagil Sector. All three of the above Sectors border the Sluis Sector, so this would not only open greater commerce for the Outer Rim Commerce Alliance, it would also give us a means to keep an eye on the planet Sluis Van.
By joining the Outer Rim Commerce Alliance you are opening your peoples to greater prosperity through the trade amongst our members. This will also greatly strengthen our peoples and provide for a stronger Outer Rim that can protect itself. All that is asked by signing is the allowance to establish trade centers in the Auril Sector, the locations shall be your choosing. These stations will serve as Trade Stations and Refueling Stations. This Trade Agreement would also permit the Cronese Mandate to use our warships in the Auril Sector, On a Security basis should the Trade Station be attacked and requires assistance. Beyond that our military vessels would continue to ensure the sovereignty and respect the Auril Sector.

| I think the name "Commerce Alliance" has rather too much in common with "Commerce Guild" or "Corporate Alliance". There is a similar body in existence with many of the military powers of the Core (from which our people are descended). The Imperial Loyalist Coalition of Free Trading Worlds Treaty, this would help protect us from predatory economies and if a large number of Rimward worlds join it will help us form a secure lobby which includes not only Rim worlds but opens up to us the lucrative and ever hungry markets of the Core itself.
You're welcome to establish Civilian stations within my world's space, and I am sure Moff Winder will assent to allow the same within the rest of the Sector. There is a motion currently being debated to grant the Auril Sector Government authority over the Ash Worlds to ensure their security, Moff Winder approached me with the possibility of us conducting joint patrols where say a ship from each of our areas would patrol together as a sign of friendly cooperation and as a sign that both the Cronese and the Tionese have great affection for the people of the Ash Worlds - although official law enforcement would still be done by the Imperial Patrol Forces.
Again regarding deployment to the Auril Sector, I do not object but you must remember that it is Moff Winder not I who is the Imperial Moff and it will be for him to rule on the matter. Naturally though I doubt this would be a problem, and I am sure that by opening up our yards at Nespis to you and you opening up the Chandaar yards to us we can assure that any refitting or repair work that needs doing on ships from either region is done speedily.
Now our hostilities with the Lorrdians are concluded and they have paid for the blood shed with tribute, I would like to ask another thing - would your Mandate consider purchasing some of our surplus vessels? We have several available, all in perfect condition.

| At this moment the name is not important, what is important is the fact of the message that we send to the Rimward worlds, that the Outer Rim is strong and standing together. For too long the Rimward worlds have come to the Outer Rim to plunder the wealth of our worlds which is rightfully ours. Our Trading Organization is the first step in a show of power that the Outer Rim will dictate what we do with our resources, now what the Rimward worlds dictate what shall be done with the resources that we have. With our signing of these Trade Agreements we bring the Tion Cluster closer together to being a true power of the Outer Rim once more and showing the other Outer Rim worlds that we control our destinies and now the Rimward worlds.
I have a second proposal for you however, rather than selling your surplus vessels, I suggest you donate them. Show that the Auril Sector will stand strong against those that would harm innocents, and show that the Auril Sector is generous by donating the vessels to our trading organization to defend the innocent civilians of our trade stations. This way you will strengthen the Auril Sector and win the popular image of the people of the Galaxy. Commodor Hector Cynum, the man who stood against the slaughter of innocents in the Kanz Sector, the man who showered the innocent with his generosity and provided them with the means to protect themselves from slaughter.

| I support the idea for unity entirely (so long as we are firmly clear that we are Imperial citizens first and to the Empire owe our first allegiance).
As for donating ships... we would find it difficult to justify the donation of military ships to a power with whom we have had so recent difficulties. We would be willing to gift a Pelta-class Medical Frigate (disarmed) to yourselves on the condition it be returned to us when your use for it expires (if it has not been destroyed etc). We would be willing to offer to sell the six Harmonious-class Armed Freighters at cost price (that is to say we wouldn't make any profit on them). They're the most efficient assault transport on the market, able to carry 1500 men each and with excellent armour and weapons. Each carries eight concealed fighters (making a total of 48 Interceptors) meaning they provide a nasty surprise to any ambushing forces and also excellent cover for dropships.
This would give you the ability to deploy 9000 fully equipped soldiers in quick order - pretty useful for such a wide an expansive area as the mandate - allowing you to drop forces quickly if there was any incursion made on your uninhabited worlds.
Following the Tion-Lorrd problems, we have built a healthy relationship with RHE (our main supplier) as such if you're seeking to purchase vessels from them we're pretty sure that we could help negotiate the best offers for you.

| I apologize for the lengthy time it has taken to reply. I convened the other Ministers of State and we have come to an agreement. The Cronese Mandate will purchase the vessels that you are offering. Though rather than utilizing them in the Cronese Mandate, we will be outfitting them to serve as patrol vessels and fast response vessels to aid the Trade Stations that are currently being established through out the Outer Rim.
I believe if there is no other reasons, conflicts or issues to bring up that we may come to a final agreement. The Cronese Mandate is willing to sign the above treaty, including opening embassies on our respected capitals. We have also spoken with and have come to an agreement with the Thanium Worlds, a second step towards the Tion Cluster becoming a strong and unified presence in the Outer Rim as well as the Galaxy.
