I write to you on behalf of the Druckenwell Shipyards. I've been told you're interested in building a viable defensive capability for your planet. I don't blame you: Christophsis is a mineral-rich world in a dangerous region. You should take what measures you must to defend your planet and its people. Please know that Druckenwell Shipyards has many options for you to choose from, and at better prices than you'll find anywhere else on the Outer Rim. Unlike family-owned independent shipwrights, small-fry national industries, and "specialty manufacturers," Druckenwell Shipyards under my leadership can offer you Core quality at Core prices.
As you may have guessed from my name, Mr. Bertuman, I am from Kuat and was recently a Director of Research and Design at the prestigious Kuat Drive Yards. I quit my job there on a mission to make the Outer Rim the galaxy's new laboratory of innovation. I have applied my expertise to Druckenwell Shipyards to be able to bring you dependable, high-quality ships at a reasonable cost; that is, a reasonable price, and reasonable operating and maintenance costs. This is what your world needs, Mr. Bertuman. Not bells and whistles and "specialty products" like drones and slugthrowers. Druckenwell Shipyards has ships that are worthy of the dignity of your fighting men and women.

| Mr. Kuat,
I have heard of nothing but good things about you. I believe your expertise at KDY will serve Druckenwell Shipyards well, as will you toward Christophsis should we decide to take you up on your offer. I would love nothing more than to have the Outer Rim be safe to travel again. It has become a haven of pirates and terrorists that's hell-bent on crippling the Empire. I fear that since my planet has become an Imperial world, we are more vulnerable to attack from pirates and terrorists alike. If what you say is true, then I would not pass up an opportunity to meet with you and discuss the issue of planetary defense. At the very least, I would like for Christophsis to get accustomed to open dialogue with other member worlds.
Would you like for me to travel to Druckenwell or would you like to travel to my planet?

I've always wanted to see your world for myself. I also like to travel the Outer Rim in search of talent and new technologies. I'm sure I can add Christophsis to my itinerary, perhaps next week as I'm currently working on a new design for a client.
