It has been some time since I had the pleasure of speaking to you. Oddly, perhaps, I do not ask you to join my cause this day. Instead, I hope that we can meet on common ground: trade. I will send a shuttle to whatever coordinates you choose and we can coordinate through proxies, since you are... uncomfortable... with seeing my face. Is this fair?

Seeing your face is what I have demanded all this time. There is a good reason that phrases exist like "you dare not show your face" and "what have you got to hide?" For all I know, you are Emperor Palpatine. I have doubts that you were ever a Separatist, because in all of the Clone Wars I never heard of a "Shiva." You have few deeds to your "name," Sir. I simply cannot do business with you (through intermediaries or otherwise) until I know who you are or someone at least vouches for you. I don't know any former Separatist who knows who you are. The one of us you did business with, Talri Nikani, was captured and shot by the Imperials. I am understandably wary.

Your wariness is understandable. I could hardly be the Emperor though, as I doubt he would deign to lowering himself to capturing our remnants and rebels personally. That is why his dog, Vader, exists, and all his other yapping mutts. I understand you were a veteran of a goodly number of battles; I myself rarely engaged the enemy on the front lines. That, more than anything, is likely why you have not heard of me. My deeds were done in the dark and many of those credited to... prettier faces than my own. That is why, though, I offer to meet with you. My shuttle, myself and my honor guard at a site of your choosing. I need allies, Captain.
As for Talri Nikani, he and I engaged in brief business and went our separate ways. It is my understanding that his hasty actions caused his capture.
