| For Senator Eli Fitzgerald of Ralltiir for attempting to press a crown of thorns upon the brows of honest slave traders in this galaxy a bounty of 100,000 credits is offered by me, Lamont Kruus, Captain of the Windfall, hero of the Battle of Kadavo, perpetrator of the Zygerrian massacre, and enemy of self righteous Senators. Wanted preferably alive. I can be reached through intermediaries on Orvax IV.

| Aren't all Senators Self-Righteous, Kruus? Why not send every Sep in the galaxy to kidnap all senators?

| Silence, Baird. I know of your anti-slavery crusade too. You humans don't understand, slaving used to be a gentlebeing's game. Now it's all mixed up in species politics. The human supremacists want to enslave everything that doesn't look like them and you anti-slavery humans with your guilty consciences want to do away with the whole practice. Stay out of it, Baird. And all of you humans.

| Kruus, I was a slaver long before you were hatched in some backwater hole on Neimoidia. I was a slaver before you joined the Confederacy and I can't say as I care for the Separatists or the Republic or even the Empire overmuch. I care about business though. Pull back this fruitless bounty. No barve with half a brain would take a crack at a Senator for only a hundred thousand. Besides, it's giving slavers a bad name, and I don't need my operations compromised, especially on Orvax IV.

| You don't understand me at all, Kruus. I save the alien races from the empire, so that they can later rip the people that enslaved them a new one. Tell me, have you ever seen a Cathar's wild, down to nature, ready to hunt and kill side? It's not a pretty sight for the person the Cathar is stalking.

| Baird, you're a rather pathetic crusader and no better than Kruus. You're just egging him on. I've heard a bit of you as well from your time in the Republic. Incidentally, I do have a few Cathars for sale, and in good shape too. Why not come visit Orvax IV during the slave market? I may sell them to you.

| Liberating them is the currency I'll pay. And you may think I'm pathetic, but that's because I don't have the luxury of having an army any more. Just me and 15 good variety of species. We do alright until we can get to were we need to go.

| Of course you can liberate them, Baird! I'll let you liberate them or do whatever else you want for ten thousand apiece! They are fine specimens, after all, and I believe one of the female is in heat. Hm. I may breed her. Do you know how much Cathar children fetch on the market? Quite a bit.

| I'm sure. You get a male Cathar on your side who will be loyal to you and he'll rip off arms, break down walls and whatever else he can do. at least, mine does. My Cathar companion. In his prime. Perhaps he could use a mate. But I haven't the credits. Oh well. Such is life.
Baird out.

| Quote (Baird) Tell me, have you ever seen a Cathar's wild, down to nature, ready to hunt and kill side?
Yes, I've seen many Cathar exactly like this caged on many of my slave ships over the years. It's good fun poking them with electroprods and hearing them growl so furiously! I was so scared I laughed. But, "Rhygar" is it? You should know that Cathar adults are out of fashion this year and you won't sell many of them at Orvax. You'll probably need to cull your supply. Consider that a friendly tip from a successful slaver to a clueless one who labors in anonymity with his cute little "operations" on, dare I say, a "backwater hole"? Perhaps you've been slaving longer than me, but you have far less to show for it. You are clearly a few nuts and bolts short of whatever it is you're supposed to be, so please, stop trying so hard to make a name for yourself and leave the slaving to we professionals, hm? Someone must have need of an oversized protocol droid somewhere.

| Cathar adults are only out of fashion in certain areas, my dear Kruus. Some species, including Verpines, Trandoshans and a number of their reptilian and insect cousins, including the lovable Geonosians, will pay quite handsomely for Cathar at the dinner table, or perhaps I should say on the menu. There is always a market for those looking to be sold, and five Cathar is hardly a dent in my stock. As for laboring on a backwater hole, as you call it? I have a successful operation Kruus, and the Empire has no bounty on my head. You, I hear, are worth far more dead than alive.
As it stands, Kruus, or is it Kwuus? I can never tell past that effeminate Neimoidian lisp. As it stands though, we will see who makes a better profit at the market. I daresay I've made a rather good profit the last dozen years, despite the Republic's dislike of these operations. Why don't you crawl back to your friends on Neimoidia and see if they'll let you lick their boots? Or you could beg forgiveness from the Empire for your transgressions? Either way, I will be living a long and happy life after you are dust and gone.

| "Effeminate"? Are you even a gender? Either way, Mr./Ms./neut. Rhymar, I'd like to apologize. It was insensitive of me to say you're simply trying to make a name for yourself. Droids as we know have numbers, not names. As for living a long and supposedly happy life, enjoy your oil bath on that jerkwater planet of yours tonight. Meanwhile I'll be dining on caviar and drinking the finest Blossom Wine. I'd like to describe for you how delicious these are but I don't suppose you "taste" anything. Pity. But you have answered a question I've wondered about for some time: apparently droids can't be programmed to do everything. Not slaving, certainly.

| Gender has no real meaning to me any longer, so your jibe has little effect. I would note though, that your former Confederate friends were very generous when they made this body for me; a take on Grievous, I believe. Seeing as I don't need to consume food like you meatbags do, I suppose I have more in common with droids. Like droids as well, I am far better at this job than you largely because of additional logic circuits that assist me. It's hard to keep a good slaver down, Kruus. I'm still here to prove that. Of course, you can say what you like when it comes to profits and not being good; the figures speak for themselves, as do the contracts. I deal with the Hutts more often than not, and I have a rather good standing with the Hutt Cartel.
You may be good for a newcomer to the game, but learn all the rules before you play.
