| "The boy is right. The Empire is as unforgiving as the chill of space. They will come for us as much as they will come for you, and every day, their grip grows tighter. Old enemies, new allies; we are all that stand in the way of the Empire." Vax fell silent, hoping they had convinced Shiva. The man seemed to have an initial plan well thought, but little on long-term goals.

| Shiva looked intrigued when Caden announced he had worked for the Empire's dark hunters and motioned for the younger man to continue. At long last, having heard them both speak, Shiva let the silence continue. "I will contact the other commanders and request they meet with us. Your end is to gain any Jedi you can. There was one I fell from contact with, his name is Havoc. He was last near Tatooine, so you may need to search there. "As for targets, you picked poor choices. KDY or the Senate would be suicide, and your former headquarters not far behind. We must start small for momentum."

| Caden didn't want to get bogged down by debating targets right now; he'd like to point out that attacking smaller targets was a good way of slowly dwindling their resources, rendering them unable to muster the strength for a full-scale assault on a riper target, but now wasn't the time for theoretical battle debates. The name Havoc, and Tatooine, had jarred him. He'd heard of Havoc, albeit briefly, during the Clone Wars. He didn't know too much about the man, so he made a point to ask Castor about it once they were on their way. It was the planet that had sobered him; suddenly, the strange desert planet from his visions, the references to sand and dragons, seemed to make sense. He should have thought of it sooner, but at the time he'd dismissed the visions outright. Now, it seemed, the Force had been foreshadowing his journey. "If we're going to Tatooine," he said, to nobody in particular, glad of an excuse to snap himself from his reverie, "we're going to need another ship. We were seen leaving Nar Shaddaa onboard a Theta-class shuttle, so I don't think it wise for us to be flying it now. I'd also recommend you jettison that ship into space, Shiva" he added, his eyes narrowing as another thought struck him. He put a hand to his concealed utility belt, and withdrew a small long-range tracking device. "If I were tracking me, I'd have one or more of these on that ship somewhere" he said quietly. "Just get my droid and our possessions removed before you blast it into space".

| The name of Havoc came as a surprise to Vax as well. He'd heard of the man, though not fought beside him during the war. If Havoc was resourceful enough to have survived, he might be a boon to their cause. He'd always been a firey sort. "Perhaps we can contact Havoc and meet with him somewhere other than Tatooine. The Imperials may well be watching there as they know the reputation Tatooine holds as a refuge for those who flee the law."

| A small datapad near Shiva's elbow gave off a soft chime, drawing his attention for a few moments as he tapped a reply back. Then he turned his attention back to the Jedi. "I beg forgiveness. I have a mission for you, gentlemen. Darwin Sky, a Jedi, has just contacted me requesting a meeting. He is to arrive outside the Tatoo System where the two of you can meet him and bring him back with you. "In the meantime, I will be making some noise at Volus and those parts. Is this acceptable?"

| Feeling slightly dejected at the ignoring of his insights, Caden remained silent while the other men talked. Finally, at Shiva's request, he nodded and prepared to take his leave. "This is more than acceptable. The more wayward Jedi we can bring into the fold, the better" he agreed. "As for Havoc, if you have his contact details, send him to the rendezvous point too. May as well kill two birds with one blaster bolt" he added. He didn't fancy making two trips to the Tatoo system, or anywhere near the Arkanis sector if it was under heavy Imperial scrutiny. He stood to leave, then glanced around, as though looking for something in particular. "Do you have a 'fresher onboard?" he asked sheepishly. "I really need to go..."

| "Volus? Well, we shall steer clear of there and Vjun until you need us. Gaining you more Jedi allies is a priority of ours as well. The more of our brothers and sisters we have, the greater our chances of doing something that will leave a lasting impression. These Jedi you mention, we will find them." Vax stood as well, looking to Caden for a moment before glancing at the door. So far, it had seemed no sign of a trap, but they weren't out of the lair yet.

| "Oh of course, by all means. The lift will take you down one level and there is a refresher on the right side after exiting. I wish you both success on your missions... and Mr. Sturn... excellent insight on the shuttle. I fully intend to have it destroyed once you've removed any significant personal items from the interior. I trust you'll find an identical shuttle more than adequate to assist you in your travels." Shiva rose as well, lifting a glass to salute them. "And so, brave friends, we will deal the Empire a blow they will not forget."

| Caden nodded his thanks, and raised his own glass in return. "To new beginnings. I wish you luck with your affairs at Volus" he murmered, then drained the contents, before heading toward the turbolift. He waited for the lift to arrive, and turned to Vax, shifting uncomfortably on the spot as the lift seemed to take an age to arrive. "I'll meet you in the hangar, old man. If you could start unloading our belongings, it'd be a great help" he said, stepping into the lift to head to the refresher below. Once he'd stepped out again on the level beneath Shiva's room, he started for the refresher unit, slipping a hand into his belt to retrieve the datapad in one of the pouches. Stepping into the unit, he checked to ensure there were no visible cameras on him, though he doubted there would be in so private an area; even so, if his privacy was being infringed upon, it wasn't uncommon for people to occupy themselves with books or datapads while going about their natural business. Feigning interest in the screen of his 'pad, he began to slowly tap out a message for his superiors. He'd prefer a face-to-face holo transmission, but it was a luxury he couldn't afford to risk at the moment. He'd have to forward the message directly to the Emperor's personnel, and hope that the Grand Vizier or the Emperor himself read it first. He deliberately failed to mention his whereabouts, or Shiva's divulging of the upcoming involvement at Volus; it wouldn't do for the Empire to make rash decisions and blow his cover. Finishing and sending his message, he went through the motions of finishing on the 'fresher, stowed the datapad, and made for the turbolift to travel down to the hangar, and the next phase of the operation.

| With a nod to the former Inquisitor, Vax headed further down the passageway until he located another lift tube, which led him to the hangar. Already, Shiva's men and numerous droids were busy disassembling the shuttle they'd arrived in, stripping out vital components and weapon systems that could be salvaged. The foreman of the operation allowed Vax to retrieve their personal belonging off the craft, including Caden's droid, and transfer them to an identical Theta-class shuttle. The foreman explained to Vax that the remains of the shuttle would be jettisoned into space and blown apart to prevent the possibility of tracking devices. With everything in order, Vax waited for Caden to join him.

| Caden walked briskly into the hangar bay, dodging various bustling droids and shouldering past workmen, to approach Castor. He seemed dishevelled, tired, but no less alert. Rings surrounded his eyes, but his face was set in a stony determination. He wanted to see this done. "I should have asked them for a new processor for El-Tee..." he said as he approached, realising he still hadn't repaired the droid beyond its primary function. "Still, at least he can jack into the ship and operate it, if we need a break. I just... wish I could bring him back to his former self, minus the disloyalty" he sighed. The droid had been the closest thing to a friend he'd ever had, prior to meeting Vax. It was a shame to see the droid so handicapped, even if it had been necessary to fry him. He turned to the new shuttle, which was almost identical to the one being dismantled, save for being in better condition. "At least we won't ring any alarm bells now" he noted. The shuttle was a popular sight still, and even if their former transport was logged as a fugitive vessel, the new one would be under a completely different registration and otherwise inconspicuous to any authorities on the look-out for them. "Shall we go? I kinda wanna get this over with..." hs said. He was still pensive over the visions he'd had, of what he was sure was Tatooine. Even if they weren't heading there directly, he was still going to be in close proximity so far as galactic scale was concerned. He had an unshakeable bad feeling about going anywhere near the place.

| "I agree. The sooner we get out of here, the better, especially if we were tracked. Let Shiva go his way and we will find these Jedi. For the first time in a long time, Caden, I have hope. I thank you for that." Vax gave the younger man a smile as he hefted his own bags and headed on-board the shuttle. Tatooine, or at least close to the planet, awaited them, and Vax was eager to see the Jedi who were going to join them in the new crusade against the Empire. It was a heartening feeling indeed; the largest morale boost the Jedi had received in quite a while.

| Caden truly didn't know what to say to Vax, but he was careful to keep his inner turmoil to himself, and not let it radiate through the Force. If there was one thing he'd become rather handy at, it was concealing his mind and feelings. Here he was, moments after delivering a report to his masters, being told he'd given a Jedi hope. In the near future, he wondered if Vax would retract those words. It didn't matter. All that mattered now were meeting those two Jedi, and bringing them into the fold. "We're not out of this yet, old man" he said with a sly wink, a shadow of a grin crossing his face. "Lets get this band together before we start singing each others praises". He hoisted his bags from the deck, and approached the Theta-class shuttle that Shiva had been kind enough to grant them. His first instinct was to check it for listening devices, but that wouldn't be very trusting of him. Even if there were listening devices onboard, perhaps Shiva had placed them there as a test to see whether or not he and Vax would show signs of distrust. He couldn't quite fathom Shiva, but he already assumed that the man worked in mysterious ways. "After you" he said, gesturing Vax to take the ramp before him. "I think I'll let you handle the flying for now".
