| From Hyperspace descended the "Doom Raven", a Vjun transponder marked vessel exited hyperspace, it's not inconsiderable payload sitting silently within it's loading bays, it's weapons all at the ready as it moved steadily in-system towards Volus itself. The black ship seemed to blend in amongst the darkness of the cold void as it sleek shape's glossy hull reflected the light of the Volusian Sun. The ships captain turned next to his first mate sat next to him as he pulled a lever on the control panel "Volus shall soon learn that the craft of Vjun is not all In words". On the pull of the lever hundreds of cylindrical snub nosed shapes were shifted within the hull towards the door on the underside of the ship, in the manner akin to the final preparation for bomb drops within modern bombers, each cylinder would cost the people of Volus very, very dearly.

| The Vjun ship would be met with a call almost as soon as they had entered the system. A pair of CR90 which had been orbiting the planet would break off its orbit approaching the incoming ship. Volus did have its fair share of traffic yes, but usually the bigger ships stayed on the edge of the system. Behind the CR90 a larger ship would begin to move, at least a dozen smaller ships swarming around it and its massive guns which seemed as meant for the ship as anything. It's hull over a mile long seemed ready for anything as was certainly their job.

| The "Doom Raven" simply proceeded towards Volus, the vessels approaching it had made no attempt at attack or communication, and so it flew on regardless. It scanned the Volusian ships with its short range scanners, recording all the telemetry for any time it might be required at a later date, although since the vessels had not communicated, it was unaware if they were from Volus itself or not. As previously stated, the people of Volus would find the cylinders within the hull (when released upon the unexpecting populace) would cause a massive toll upon them. The sinister cylinders shimmered gently, refracting the light off their iridescent forms as the halogen bulbs of the chamber flickered on. A FIII Footman droid proceded along the row of cannisters, providing a final check on them before their deployment. While the Volusian ships may have many guns, the fast engines on the YT-2400 would allow it to easily evade its massive guns in its passage to Volus, should it need to.. its fateful objective seemed to be simple, to enter the Volusian atmosphere.

| The ship would be intercepted by the Corellian Corvette would would move in front of it, sending another communication to the YT-2400 inquiring as to why it was there. If they avoided it then the bigger ship would engage a tractor beam on the smaller ship. Since they had avoided communications they would not be allowed to enter the atmosphere or in truth even get into the planetary approach. Even if they could avoid the ships big guns it still had plenty of smaller ones and fighters around which would be more than able to deal with any such ship or canisters.

| The freighter replied with a curt response "We come to deliver our... Cargo.. Unto the people of Volus." there was a chuckling over the comm. Even so, their trade permits checked out.

| "Your flight isn't scheduled..We will be needing to inspect your cargo..cut your engines and have your crew wait by the airlock for the inspectors to come aboard." the Corellian Corvette would begin to move in to prepare the docking procedures onto the airlock. "Failure to comply will result in refusal to allow your ship to continue onto Volus."

| The vessels shields were raised "Since when does a private citizen need to schedule his travel?" said the captain confrontationally. "I am an Imperial Citizen, you've got no right to search us without probable cause" he said as he completed the full scan of the larger battleship, downloading the scan, and the rest of the data from the system his vessel had scanned to a data chip and placing it in his pocket with a dozen other such chips, someone would pay for this... His objective completed, he powered down his shields, signalling his compliance "A complaint will be raised with the sector off, but we will comply with this intrusion", allowing the vessel to dock with his as he slipped a data chip from his pocket into a magazine, not wanting it on him, laying the magazine in a pile in the cockpit before him, his copilot and two droids went down to the airlock, hanging out and opening a bottle of whiskey.

| "As it stands, 'sir,' there is no law against planets searching ships coming into their space. However if you would like it, we will forward you all the needed contact information for the Sector Moff, who would be more than pleased to hear your complaints for lawful actions." They would find a jamming signal around key parts of the ship over volus meaning they could only get a partial scan of the ship missing the important pieces such as the bridge and main batteries. The Corellian corvette would move over the smaller Yt-2400 freighter moving to attach to it using an air lock while the fighters would remain nearby, a squadron of Z-95 headhunters ready to defend their space from attacks.

| As no previous Jamming was mentioned, and no defence posted to the original scan, the scan was indeed fully successful, it should be noticed that jamming hasn't been mentioned ever in the past in conjunction with this ship, and while it may make sense to have such a measure in place, it was not stated. In addition to this, simply viewing the ships weapons would show that it had not modified its weaponary, as required by recent legislation. The YT-2400 sat and allowed itself to be boarded, the crew sitting around and passing the bottle of whiskey between them as they waited for something to happen.

| It makes logical sense for such any ship to have such measures in place and would not be unreasonable to assume the ship had the active covering the crucial areas of the ship to prevent scanning from smaller ships. The corvette would dock with the smaller one sealing the air locks together before an inspection crew could move down accompanied by a pair of Volusian Soldiers who were there for the security of the inspectors to come and view the ship. "This is the entire compliment of your crew?" man, clearly in charge of the team would ask for clarification and to follow the protocol for such things.

| While it's logical, it needs to be stated, that's how tb rp works. You cannot just assume.)) The two men looked at each other and laughed "Of course this is all , my crew, don't know what kinda clarification you want sept my word" said the Captain "Just me, Bill, Timothy and Bonk"

| "Thats all we need, if we find anyone else you can be brought up on charges of impeding a security officer." the man said before moving off to begin the ship's inspections. They would be quite thorough with it making sure to check each area of the ship before finally moving into the cargo hold. ((as much as you want to argue it, those jammers would be considered standard on ANY ship of that size, 1600 meters and especially in critical areas which is what you are denied to have. IE bridge, engines and weapon emplacements.))

| (Source? Wookieepedia doesn't appear to indicate Sensor Jammers are standard items on all large capital ships.) The search wouldn't reveal anything throughout the ship. On approaching the cargo bay they would find it filled with several hundred small cylinders made of an iridescent metal which seemed to glow with a light of its own, under the dim halogen bulbs of the cargo hold.

| ((its only reasonable since they also never mention getting complete blueprints for ships from scans. Either scanners aren't accurate enough to determine whats on a ship or there is some sort of field in place preventing scans from getting a high resolution image of any ship a faction might want to exploit for their own gain.)) Upon reaching the cargo hold and seeing the cylinders the man in charge would order those under him to begin searching through all of the cylinders in the cargo hold. To be sure there was nothing contraband either in the empire or on Volus inside of them.

| As you can see from a prominent scene in ROTJ, sensors do create a blueprint image, and its silly to suggest that any jamming (aside from a cloaking device) could prevent a simple camera image?)) The cylinders would prove not easily opened by the Volusian security."Scan them, I'm afraid opening them would damage the contents and devalue them, the codes for opening the cylinder is only provided when you make a purchase of one. They're luxury goods." said the Captain. "Sealed packaging is part of that luxury"
