Yesterday, Vjunite Citizens discovered the asteroid "TX2332:90809" around a light year from the Volusian System, the asteroid was inbound towards Volus and potentially could have caused great harm had it been allowed to continue for another 100 years and enter Volus' populated space. As such a tug was dispatched and the rock investigated, it was found to be of note and so was taken for analysis aboard the nearby Vjun Science Commission Sensor Array.

After analysis it was determined that the array contained a core of heavy metals, with high percentages of Aurodium and Platinum present. The immense value of this find was quickly discovered by the crew aboard the array and they dispatched a shuttle for the Vjun Embassy on the heavily secured Imperial World of Nessem carrying the stone.

On arrival it was secured and photographed, in addition to IGBC valuers being allowed to conduct advanced scans of the stone. The "Stone of Justice" has been valued at 1,560,000,000 Credits for all minerals present, with the large majority (1,500,000,000) being for the Aurodium content.

All Aurodium content has been declared to be property of the Vjun Government, as per standard traditions a sizeable bounty has been awarded to the Array's crew and science staff of 60,000,000 Imperial Credits, to be paid upon completion of their present contracts aboard the array.

The 1.5 Billion Credits remaining is to largely to be ploughed back into the Vjunite economy, with a significant sum planned for contribution to the Vjunite Cloth industry, and it is also understood full compensation is to be paid to the Baron Shenton for his losses in the piratical seizing of his cargo ship inbound to Volus. Further it is understood that a large sum (rumoured to be as large as 33%) will also be contributed directly to the Imperial Throne.

The wealth given by divine providence to Vjun will not be wasted or frittered away, but used for the common good.
