Caden knew his decision seemed brash and ill planned, but he was determined to go to Coruscant; not only to glean what he could from whatever the Empire had left intact, but to access the signal beacon which transmitted to all active Jedi. If he could find a way to convince the survivors of the Order that he was an ally, he could draw many others to the cause... "Time will tell where our path will lead us" he said solemnly. "After we assist Shiva in this venture, we may find other options opened before us, or you may be able to convince me that Coruscant is a bad idea" he said with a sly smirk and the air of a sabacc player who was sure his bluff was impenetrable. "Still... if I feel I must do it, I would be glad to have you at my side. It means a lot to me" he said, and to his surprise, he found that he meant it.
Propping his booted feet up on the dash, he cast a glance back at the prone form of El-Tee, and frowned inwardly. The more time passed, the less urgency he felt as far as repairing the droid went. Perhaps it was because he'd become too occupied, or he was still stung by El-Tee's untimely betrayal, propelling him down this winding road before he was fully prepared.
"How long til we reach Shiva?" he asked while opening a message that had just arrived from their ally, aware that his impatience was obvious in his tone. "I wanna get my hands dirty".
