| Vax and Caden had departed the Providence that served as their new-found ally's command ship and entered hyperspace; a course set for the Tatoo System. Ahead of them waited, more than likely, two Jedi who would join them, bringing their band of Jedi to four. It was a small number when compared to the masses of Inquisitors and other dark side adepts the Empire likely had, but the Jedi had the advantage of training and a will to not give up. The Empire was fighting for its right to dominate, but the Jedi and those who fought the Empire were fighting for their right to exist. There could be no contest. Leaning back in the pilot's chair, Vax glanced over at Caden. "It seems your idea is coming true, boy. A strange place for you to be, considering where you just came from. Now you're the head of a Jedi fugitive band and allied with a powerful Separatist. Odd times, odd times indeed."

| Fine-tuning the emmitter on his secondary lightsaber, Caden glanced up, barely catching Vax's words that broke the sudden silence. "Yeah... when you put it that way, it does feel a little odd" he admitted. "It's good to see events coming to fruition though. I never was much for sitting around making plans and not seeing them come to pass" he grinned. He slid the emmitter back home, then locked his lightsaber back into one whole piece. Turning so as not to pierce the viewport, or Vax, he ignited the blade. In retrospect, it wasn't the brightest of ideas; if he'd made an error, he could well have vapourised himself and probably Vax too. Luckily, the blade snap-hissed healthily to life, casting its bloodshine glow over both men. "Perfect" he said, more to himself. He switched off the weapon, and returned it to his belt. "Hopefully I won't need them on Tatooine, but who can tell?" he mused. The obvious answer was to look within himself, and open himself to the ebb and flow of the Force for a view of what he might expect; but ever since his last vision, he wasn't too willing to open himself to such things, not when they might show him the death and destruction he might cause on the desert planet. "It's gonna take a while to get to Tatooine, and I've been meaning to ask you... well... I kinda need to learn to clear my mind" he said sheepishly. "I've tried meditation, but all it does is bring on uncontrollable visions and the like. I think, if I could achieve that mental emptiness, I'd be able to achieve a lot more with the power I have. And I need you to try and show me how".

| Watching the stars blur past, Vax considered the problem that Caden was having. Meditation was a primary means of getting in touch with the Force, especially for a Jedi. If there was no way to clear his mind, then the younger man might well be plagued by an inability to reach his full potential. It was a troublesome issue. If standard means of meditation would not work, then Vax would have to suggest another method. Fortunately for Caden, Vax had been something of a rogue in some ways of thought, not unlike Qui-Gon. "This is a way that I have heard spoken of. It has not worked for me, but our situations are different. From some of the old archives, it was said that this method was used by those who were gifted with the ability of battle meditation. Picture a flame in your mind, a single flame; no more or less. Feed into this flame all thoughts, emotions, feelings. Let them become consumed by it, and then, in the void that remains, you will find your waking meditation that should serve you."

| In the Tatoo System the BFF-1 Freighter, "Hyperion Dream" jumped from hyperspace, waiting to be contacted by the Jedi, aboard was D-Man and Chaz, both of them having been offered a free place to stay aboard the spartan quarters of the freighter. The Freighter was unusually bereft of its cargo containers, Scumble's budget not having run to purchasing them, but, since he had nothing to carry yet it made sense. They kept the hyperspace warm, it could well be a trap.

| The YT-1300 light freighter had dropped out of hyperspace after a long journey inside the marvelous blue tunnel of light. Perhaps little too long for Darwin's taste, but at least the trip's going to be worth it. Well, it was his hope that it would be. Potential allies in the making, two Jedi and a Separatist faction. If the meeting goes well, then the Jedi will finally have allies and he would be able to strike back at the Empire for what they had done to many of his brothers and sisters toward the end of the Clone Wars and thereafter. The Jedi had let out a light chuckle, just realizing how ironic old enemies forging an alliance would be. Darwin decided to move around, to make himself comfortable on the pilot chair. He then shot a glance at the beautiful Kaylie, "Kay, do you think this could turn out to be a good thing? I mean, the clones already proved they're superior to the battledroids. If that's really the case, then how would this Separatist commander be able to turn things around?" The Jedi had pondered on that for the most of the trip toward outside of Tatoo system. Four Jedi Knights might be very useful to the faction, but even the Jedi aren't invincible. "This is Captain Sky of the Proclarush Taonas, is anyone reading me?" He spoke on the general frequency of the radiotransmitter. Darwin didn't want to attract unwanted attention by revealing himself to be a Jedi. The meeting could simply be a trap, or an Imperial could be listening in to it. Either way, he would have to wait and see if two more Jedi is really going to meet up with him.

| Kaylie was perfectly content piloting from the co-pilots seat, which was where she sat anyway, even if she was flying alone. She easily dropped the freighter from hyperspace when the alarm on the console alerted her to the fact that they had arrived at the system. It had been days, and she felt that it was too long also, but the time with her old friend was nice....very nice, in fact. The thought alone made her smile a little. When Darwin moved, she glanced over to him and listened as he spoke. "Well....I don't think you would have dragged us all the way out here if you didn't think that it was going to be a good thing, do you? I mean, you seem to have an instinct about these things. Well, except that last one. But no one could have predicted that." She offered him a little smile and then shut up when he started hailing anyone nearby.

| (Hey Caden, not being rude, but I jumped over you this once just so Darwin would be able to make his next post) While the younger man mulled over the Jedi's words, Vax busied himself with bringing the shuttle out of hyperspace. His first act on reversion was to scan the area for possible hostiles; none of which showed up. It seemed as if he and Caden were quite alone. Leaning back, Vax let his mind wander, relaxing before they initiated their newest members into the small Jedi group they were forming. Before long though, sensors beeped, alerting Vax and Caden to the arrival of an additional ship. The Jedi was ready to either evade or attack as necessary, but the name of 'Sky' came over the transmitter. The Jedi had identified himself as Darwin Sky, after all. Vax took a chance and thumbed the transmitter on the shuttle. "Captain Sky, this is your emissary. Come about to heading two-eight-zero and you'll be coming our way. Looking forward to meeting you, Captain."

| Darwin looked at Kaylie once again, flashing her a smile simply because she had smiled at him. "Well, I suppose this guy was hoping to have the Jedi Knights lead the Separatists against the Empire like we have done with the clones during the Clone Wars. Our abilities to use the Force and being skilled warriors probably aren't the only reasons they wanted us to form an alliance. We led the Grand Army of the Republic to victory over the Separatists, and they'd like to know how to win and how to defeat the clones." The Jedi was about to return to broadcasting his message when a response came through to their radiotransmitter. He raised an eyebrow at Kaylie, "That was fast." Darwin would let out a light sigh, fully hoping that it wasn't a trap. "Alright, we're coming your way. See ya soon." The Jedi spoke through the transmitter and nodded at Kaylie to do what he had just told the emissary. He then looked at Artie, "You'd better charge up the main guns for me in case this goes south." The droid replied in Binary, with a series of chirping and beeping. The Jedi got off his chair and walked out of the cockpit, heading toward the main galley. He was there to put his lightsaber into one of the inside pockets of his ragged jacket, and to place a belt around his waist. There were a DH-17 blaster pistol inside a holster, of which was mostly for appearance. He would use it if he have to, but he very much prefers to use the lightsaber like any Jedi would have.

| Vax settled back, easing the Theta into a low cruising speed. He had no clue where the Jedi Havoc was, but here at least was one man he sought. As the vessel carrying Sky came into view, Castor looked over to Caden and nodded at the controls. "Take these for a minute while we dock up. I'll get the feel for our new friends and either invite them over... or invite us over to them. Of course, if it's a trap, I'll invite them to abandon ship and give us a new vessel." The last was delivered as a joke as Vax moved back to check the access hatch that would telescope out to join the two vessels together, allowing the men on both ships to meet one another. Using a hand-held comm, Vax called to Sky, "Alright Mr. Sky, whenever you are ready, let's do this."

| ((Sorry about the prolonged absense, it took a little longer to get back to posting than I imagined. Good call on skipping over me, Castor, but I should be able to keep up from now on)) Caden came back to himself after mulling over Castor's words for a while, and privately scolded himself for allowing himself to become distracted. There'd be plenty of time for meditation, but not now. He smirked at the old mans quip, as he settled into the pilots seat and readjusted the positioning to his own liking. His fingers floated over controls, bringing them into a steady dock with the other vessel, with barely a bump to be felt as the docking chute slid home and vaccuum sealed with Sky's ship. "This better be worth the trip" he said to Castor, before the old man activated the comm to Sky. "If this does turn out to be a trap, you can bet there'll be reinforcements waiting within jump range. Better you get the feel for our 'friends' than me... you're less likely to blow a hole in the hull with your mind if you suspect something odd" he smiled. With that said, he turned back to the controls, but couldn't help slipping into meditation, just to try what the old man had suggested. He left a part of his consciousness and awareness in the here and now, just incase. As an Inquisitor, it was natural for him to suspect and be prepared for all outcomes.

| Kaylie took a moment to enter the heading into the nav computer before she looked to Darwin as he rose to his feet. "Hey, be careful. " She cautioned as she met his gaze. She cared about him and it was obvious in her tone. As he left, she turned her attention to the flying she had to handle witin the next few minutes. It wasn't like it was hard, but docking with anoher shop tended to bring at least a little stress. Once she felt the shudder of the ship attach to the port, Kaylie let out a sigh of relief. She flipped a couple of switches and pressurized the tunnel so it would be safe to open the airlocks. Kay powered down the thrusters, but was sure to keep ten hot in case of need of a hasty exit. "Keep a sensor out, Artie. I've got my commlink....and I'm not letting him go alone. " With that, Kaylie holstered a blaster at her hip and trailed along behind Darwin.

| The Jedi raised his eyebrows once there was a...warning from one of the supposed Jedi. That is, if this Shiva is being credible and those men were really Jedi. Of course, he had decided to be cautious. It didn't help when he sensed Kaylie was walking behind him, but at same time he smiled lightly. Darwin cared for Kaylie as well. She may not be a Jedi, but he was most comfortable whenever he's around Kaylie. "Come, Kay. Let's go see if they're really Jedi just like I am. You better keep your eyes open. If this is a trap, I don't want you to get hurt." His tone was sincere, showing obviousness that he cared about Kaylie. Darwin made sure to stay in front of Kaylie as he was walking into the docking chute that connected their YT-1300 with the other ship. Once to the other side of the docking chute, he would wait for the access to their ship to be accessible.
