| She nodded to the Senator, and took the card. "I will keep her in mind. Miss Erins will probably hear from me a lot." she said reading it and then putting it away. She laughed lightly to herself reading her assistant's name. She would have to bug Mical's old Chief of Staff, Jules Petit, about having a girl's name. It was all in jest, as Jules was a male name in the Freeworlds, but she couldn't help to mess with him regardless. She was still sitting there, when she heard a voice from elsewhere in the house, coming before she could respond to the Senator's last comment. She turned to see who it was, he mind racing. Since she had washed off her face, she was recognizable, and that could pose problems to the right people. Sure enough, it was someone she did not want to see. She could not recall a name, but his face was familiar; she had seen it around Coruscant enough time for it to be. It was an Inquisitor, and one that knw the Senator on a very close basis judging from his entry. She remained calm however, to avoid bringing attention to herself, and returned her gaze to the Senator to watch her reaction.

| She had been waiting for Seraphine to give her an answer when the door opened and the familiar voice echoed through the entry way and into the large open sitting area. Immediately, Ilanah turned her head to look over her shoulder, as if she was checking just to make sure she wasn't hearing things. Kal. A broad smile crossed her face and she was to her feet in one swift, and graceful movement. She didn't miss a beat, and she was nearly running through the room and launched herself into his arms, wrapping hers tightly around his neck. "You're alright...." She breathed as she let herself slide down enough so her feet were at least on the floor. Her heels made her a little taller at least, and she gazed up at him. "You are alright, aren't you?" Idly, she looked at the upper half of his body that she could see, as if she was looking for any signs of injury. "And you came home." The Senators voice was low, but for that moment she had almost forgotten about her guest, unintentionally. Before he would be able to say anything, she would push herself up onto her toes and kiss his lips gently for a long and lingering moment before she dropped back down easily. It was that moment that she realized that Seraphine would probably be curious, if not completely paniced about the situation, seeing as how she knew nothing about it. It wasn't like Ilanah to be like that, but with Kal, it was difficult for her not to be happy....and express it.

| His eyes followed her as she came running up to him, wrapping her arms around his neck. A smile came to his face. He was glad to finally be home, and to see that she was unharmed. He would give her a soft nod, "Yes, I'm alright. A few bruises and a few scratches." They were self inflicted wounds, but she didn't need to know that. His eyes didn't leave her one moment. "I'm glad to be back home with you...but who is here with you? The visitor..." He didn't want to ruin the moment, but needed to know what was going on in his home. He had felt the presence of the Dark Side as well. He would get to that eventually. Before he could get an answer, her lips met his in a long kiss. He looked down into her eyes, loving this moment. Even though he didn't want it to end, there were things that they needed to talk about before they could return to their moment together.

| Etiquette overtook her urge to jump out of the nearest window, and she calmed herself before standing. She bowed to the Inquisitor, "I am Séraphine Dominique Leroy, my Lord." She was indeed an interesting individual, years of training for her position had made her so. She was also a very curious individual, much like a cat; right now, her curiosity was overriding any survival sense. She had also though towards Riley, and despite not being in his care directly, held the belief that nothing ill would become of her while he was within the estate. It was an assumption, of course, one that was probably badly made. She rid herself quickly of such thoughts, remember it was an Inquisitor she was in the presence of, and she had to be mindful of her thoughts and feelings. While they had their moment together, she stood quietly, trying to make herself as invisible and unnoticeable as possible without being rude or outright leaving the room.

| She pulled back only a little for a moment before she glanced over her shoulder as Seraphine introduced herself to Kal. "She is a former aide to one of my former co-workers." She told Kal as she idly smoothed the fabric of his shirt with her fingertips. "She came for help." The Senator said softly. "And she is going to stay tonight in the guest house before continuing on her trip?" It was more of a question than anything since Sera hadn't confirmed or denied when she had offered earlier. Lana turned her gaze back to Kal for a moment. "Seraphine, obviously, this is Kal Thanatos." She paused for a moment. "We're married." Surely that would send her mind reeling. A senator and an Inquisitor...married. She would, of course, explain everything if Sera asked her to. As she watched the other woman, Lana laced her fingers with Kal's, not letting him go. Again, it had been too long.

| ((Very sorry for the delay, and the shortness...)) She bowed to the Senator. "Indeed, my lady. I'm afraid posing in the underworld of Coruscant as one of the residents can take a toll if you make it convincing. I will depart in the morning to return to Coruscant." she said. She paused, and cocked her head to the side a bit, as her brain caught up to what she had heard. "Excuse me, but did you say you two are married?" she said, with an upward inflection, in complete confusion. A very rare position to catch her in.

| The Senator nodded in response to Seraphine and offered a.comforting smile. She wasn't sure if there would be a way to put the young woman at ease about it. No one that knew had been so far, and rightfully so. It was an odd situation. "I can explain anything you need, Seraphine. Just do not hesitate to ask." Ilanah said after a moment. Lightly, she squeezed Kal's hand and glanced up to him. Reluctantly, she would pull away from Kal and move to the girl. "And I can promise that you are safe here." She wouldn't lie, because she knew no harm would come to either of them with Kal there.

| His eyes would move in between the two women. He could understand how a relationship between a Senator and an Inquisitor would be something that people would have a hard time wrapping their mind around. He would nod, confirming Lana's comment about them being safe there, "She's right. There's nothing to worry about. I'm not the typical Inquisitor that everyone has been exposed to." He'd take just a second to pause. "I know it is hard to feel comfortable around someone that had a position, such as mine, but please do not let it interrupt anything that the two of you were discussing..." His eyes would move to Lana, "I can leave the two of you so you can continue?"

| She listened to the two, and as much as she wanted to, she couldn't bring herself to trust Kal. Not yet, anyways. Inquisitors had a very particular application when not dealing with Jedi, and it was that application that she wanted to avoid. She could tell however, the two, as much of the odd couple they were, truly loved each other. As much as she wished to continue speaking to Senator Thanatos, it was time for her to leave them alone. She would bow to both of them, before speaking, "No, my Lord. That will not be required. I will retire for the evening to your guest house, and depart in the morning. You two deserve time to yourselves, please, do not allow me to interrupt." She then turned, and left the room to get some much needed rest.

| Lana bade goodnight to Seraphine, smiling at the young lady as a maid showed her to the guest house and got her settled. She would also let her know that if Serpahine needed anything, all she needed to do was ask. "Kal...." Ilanah started after she watched Seraphine leave with the maid. There was a bit of hesitance in her voice before she turned her attention fully to him. Her gaze had been scanning the yard outside of the window in the door, but she saw nothing out of the ordinary. Her nerves were still slightly shot from all of her surprise guests in the recent days. "You feel him, don't you?" She asked as she moved over to him and slid her arms around his waist. Lana bit her lower lip lightly, a nervous habit she had always had, as she looked up at her spouse. She was almost positive that he would have been able to feel the dark presence that Animus had left behind from his unwelcome visit. "Please, please don't be angry." Lana said, before he would be able to get a word out. "He just showed up here and started asking questions and snooping about the house." It was then that she realized how upset she truly was and the stress had gotten to her and the normally controlled Senator was in tears. "I really didn't know what to do."

| They were alone now. It had been weeks, if not nearly months since they'd been together. His eyes had followed the woman as she left, making sure she was out of sight and hearing of them. He would turn his gaze back down to Lana. He would nod, but she had continued on before he could respond. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her in. He could feel the presence that had been left by the other Inquisitor. He wanted to know what would bring him out there, and without his knowledge. He was in fact angry. He took a deep breath in, slowly releasing it before speaking, "How could I not be angry? There was no need for him to even consider coming here. Our marriage isn't something that the Empire has in their concern yet." He knew that she didn't want him to be this upset and mad, but he was. There was no way around it. He had seen it all once he touched the door handle on the way into the house. "I'm not going to let him get away with this, you know. No one comes around, trying to throw their position in my family's house. I will make him regret ever coming here...."

| She laid her head against his chest and let out a low sigh, but when he said he was angry, she pulled back a little and tried to wipe the crystalline tears from beneath her cobalt blue eyes. "It's not like I had a choice, Kal." She said softly as she looked away a little. Unfortunately, she had taken his anger to mean that he was mad at her about it, even though there was nothing she could have done. Her emotions had been a wreck before, but now even moreso since she thought he was upset with her. It wasn't like her at all. Ilanah considered his last words for a moment before she would say anything else. "Your families house, huh?" She would force a small smile. "So...you, me, and the cat are a family?" She joked a little, trying to diffuse his anger a little, to not ruin any more of their time together before she would have to return to Coruscant, which would unfortunately be soon. There was work to do, and she had been putting it off for far too long. "I always thought a family was more along the lines of a mom, and a dad, and a child or two or....twelve." She joked with him quietly, as there was no way twelve was ever even an option. Two might have been pushing it.

| He could tell that she had taken his comment completely wrong. He would shake his head, "I wasn't meaning that I was mad with you. I know it wasn't your fault. My anger is pointed to Animus, and possibly the Inquisitorious, if they allowed this mission." There was no way that he could ever be mad with her over something like this. He reached down and wiped a stray tear off of her cheek. "Yes, and the thought of children has crossed my mind as well. There's been something that I've been waiting till I returned to tell you. During my travel out to Utapau, I had a premonition. In it, you were standing there, holding a child in your arms. I don't know how far ahead I was being shown, but it wasn't to distant from now. That is why I say my family's house. It won't always just be you and myself living here soon..."

| Ilanah paused for a moment a managed a small smile. "Interesting...." she said as she pulled out of his arms and went to the window to look out into the dark. "Soon.." it was hard for the young senator to imagine, considering what had happened between the pair last time, but the possibility was exciting. And terrifying at the same time. Surely people wouldn't react well to that kind of news "Another man came to visit just after the Inquisitor, Kal. I think we both need to meet within. I think he knows...and I think he could help you...and us...."She said finally. "I can contact him tomorrow....".
