| The Escapade had settled lightly in its berth, giving Darius his view of Atzerri. A notably corrupt place, he felt as if he could blend in easily here, without the need for hot sun and sand of Tatooine. Mika Jeebs was to be within the Trader's Plaza on Talos. To Darius, Talos was a stink-hole; so unlike the beauty of Tantra with its ice caves and chilling wind. Then again, not all sentient beings would enjoy Tantra either. The Smuggler's Luck did not take much to find and indeed, Darius had come in the outfit of a space; one he preferred for comfort even if Jeebs had not suggested it. Of course, his outfit was armored as well, which made him seem bulkier than he already would have. If anything, he hoped the threat of appearance would keep some beings from interfering with his meeting. If it didn't, then the DL-44 holstered at his right thigh and the pair of Jengardin vibroblades cross-sheathed at the small of his back would suffice. Moving into the cantina just behind a half-drunk Rodian, Darius made his way to the bar, ordering a cheap drink and, when the 'tender brought it to him, Darius leaned close. "Hey, there's a few extra credits if you can direct me to a woman who has need of a good smuggler." From there, it would be up to Jeebs to make the next step.

| The lady was already present inside the Smuggler's Luck. She was wearing an outfit that looked like she was a businesswoman looking to recruit people. She was also in the dark corner of the cantina. She did everything she said in the message, letting a few smugglers come toward her from time to time to maintain her ruse. She would keep a DL-18 blaster pistol, in case she had to shoot her way out. It was concealed behind the black jacket though, so she wouldn't seem to be a threat. Meanwhile, the bartender was busy handing drinks to smugglers, pirates, and some criminals. Atzerri doesn't really have laws. For all they know, policemen and criminals could be the same group of people. The bartender would look at a smuggler that had a DL-44, grinning a little bit. "Everyone says they're good smugglers. You might want to prove that you can come out on the top. She's over there, in the dark corner to your right." The besalik nodded to the right, going back to serving drinks.

| Darius nodded once, ignoring the majority of the assorted scum as he made his way towards the female. Her booth, it seemed, was empty besides her for a moment. Stopping short, he gave the area a cursory once-over. Satisfied that it wasn't a trap, he slid in across from her, keeping an easy-going smile on his face. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

| The lady would simply nod at the smuggler approaching her, "Pleasure is all mine." She extended her right hand for the man to shake out of courtesy. "I'm Miss Mika Jeebs. Let me guess. You're here for the job." She had to keep up the businesswoman role, because she didn't want to blow her cover until she finally have a chance to speak with the Black Knight. Whoever that would be. She knows how important it is to have allies in the war against the Galactic Empire. Her commanding officer had repeatedly told her not to screw this up. The man had told her several times that he believes rebel factions must unite if they were going to have a remote chance of defeating the Empire. Mika hoped she was doing a good job of being undercover, as she awaits the smuggler's reply.

| "Black Knight. Pleased to meet you, Ms. Jeebs. My name is Darius Vaughn." Depending on her knowledge of the galaxy, the newly-named 'Prince' of Tantra might or might not be known to her. His name was rather quite new, and his family not well known. Nonetheless, he did have the planetary governor's ear and his wealth was undeniable. For now, he accepted her hand, shook it firmly once and settled back against the booth. "I assume we have similar interests?"

| She nodded, "Ah, so you're the Black Knight. I've been waiting for you for some time now." Indeed, Mika did not know he was a "Prince" of Tantra. The lady assumed he was a simple smuggler or pirate that decides he's had enough of the Empire. Her boss' identity was hidden as well, especially because of his position within the Empire. Nevertheless, her boss had strongly encourage the unity of all rebel factions so they can work as one and inflict as much damage as possible upon the Empire. Mika tilted her head, "That depends on what you mean by similar interests. If you are speaking about defeating them, then yes we do." Of course, Mika wasn't going to say the Empire out loud or say it at all. She didn't want to risk tipping herself and the Black Knight off to the Imperials sniffing out for the rebels throughout the galaxy. "The man who runs the Libs believe we must work together if we are to succeed."

| "Oh, they certainly can't be allowed to continue what they have been doing. So many people seem to be afraid to speak or act out against them. Nonetheless, it brought us here. So, your boss wants us to work together. That's good for me." Darius relaxed a little more. She wasn't likely to stab him in the back, figuratively speaking, or perhaps literally as well. For now, his future was secured in this group that was forming.

| The lady looked at Darius, trying to read his body language. He seemed to be relaxed, perhaps it is because his boss had expressed such an interest in an alliance. "If we are going to be allies, the Libs need to know your terms." While it may be hopeful that there won't be any terms necessary, his boss knew better. He had told Mika what their terms would be in case the Black Knight decided to impose terms upon the Libs. "He also want to apologize that he couldn't be here in person. Because of his position within the Empire, he didn't want to risk exposing himself and putting an effective end to the rebellion before the campaigns even start."

| "Terms, huh?" Darius closed his eyes briefly as he thought of terms that might be necessary. He also considered what could be gleaned from what Jeebs had inadvertently revealed about her leader. His position in the Empire. Risk of exposure. Darius could hardly be fully sure, but it sounded as if the leader of the Libs was a man in some position of power. Moff, senator, Admiral. Who could say? Perhaps it was even someone close to Palpatine. "My terms are these: I come and go as I must; I am an affiliate of your rebellion and I will help when I can, but I don't fall under the chain of command the Libs have. I'll answer to you, or your boss. Any men I bring along answer only to me unless I state otherwise. Fair enough?"

| The lady raised his eyebrows, that was all he offered as terms. She was kinda surprised, but then again, most rebel factions are probably not in position to make huge demands. After all, bands of ragtag rebels spread throughout the galaxy means they don't come in large numbers. All more reason for her boss to make a strong impression on unity. Mika simply nodded at Darius, "Isn't that what the term allies mean? My boss wants the same terms, the Libs have no problem accepting your terms. I assume your rebels don't have a problem neither." Now that the Libs have gained an ally, there was the only one thing left to talk about. "I think it's safe to say that we can talk about how to rescue Baird and the soldiers under his command. The Libs had suggested that you supply an armed freighter, and the Libs would be sending a squadron to escort the freighter roundtrip. I have Z-95s standing by and ready to go, they're the best squadron of the Libs." That had said something about the starfighters that rebel factions currently uses. They've been looking for the better ones, but at the moment, Z-95s are their best. " Seeing how the Quelli Sector is crawling with the Imps, I think it's safe to say we could send a scout ahead of time, to recon the area. Is that a problem for you? If so, do you propose a better plan?"

| It appeared that Jeebs had mistaken Darius for a man who was well-connected to a rebellious group. By the time she'd finished speaking, Darius was unable to help laughing; not mocking, but simply amused. After all, he was not as well-connected as the Libs. "My rebels, you say? Miss Jeebs, right now there's myself. The only men I had before were mercenaries and I lost them and my yacht over Kamino battling the Empire. All I have left is my personal ship at the moment, and a whole lot of cash and connections to traders. I can fit a small group on board my ship, but I can't contribute much else at this time."

| Miss Jeebs continued to raise her eyebrows when Darius laughed. She wondered why he was laughing. Was it something she said? Was it something stuck on her? Was it something she ate? Then he had told her the reason why. That Darius had lost his men in a battle over Kamino, and that he lost a yacht as well. Damn, Baird and his men could have gotten on the yacht if it wasn't destroyed. She thought to herself. "Well, Baird needs to fit fifteen of his soldiers into a transport. I do not know if your ship has enough space for all of them. Now, not having soldiers under your command doesn't make you any less important." Mika was actually right. She knew not every allies need to have men and women working under a leader. It could be a spy relaying information. It could be someone wealthy funding the rebels throughout the galaxy. It could also be someone that has connections with traders. "I will accept your terms, and they will uphold whether you have people working with you or not. If you still wish to contribute to rescuing Baird, and bring his men to the Libs' base of operations...that's fine with me. Your assistance toward rescuing them or toward the rebellion in general would greatly be appreciated." Her tone was sincere, which tells she meant every word of it. The man in command of the Libs knew how important it is to gain any sort of ally. Mika had been helping him attempt to recruit all kinds of people, acquiring ships and weapons, and gaining all sorts of allies.

| "I can probably cram fifteen in my ship, but she'll be heavy on take-off and they won't be too comfortable. The Escapade was built for speed and firepower; not transport. Still, it will suffice. I'll need Baird's last co-ordinates and the location of the Libs' base so I can do this. I also need to link up with your flight leader and co-ordinate with him so we can jump together. We need to get on this rescue and not waste any more time." Darius' tone was final; he could not debate while men might be dying.

| Mika responded almost right away, "Which is why I'm going to give you the coordinates to the Libs' base of operations first. That way you can get all the unnecessary stuffs out of your ship and leave it on the base, to make as much space as possible for Baird's crew." Instead of getting out a datapad, she simply took out a piece of paper and handed it to him. It is far easier to get rid of paper than it is to get rid of a datapad. Darius could simply burn the paper after he had installed the coordinates into his personal ship. Mika also made sure she had a droid write down the coordinates, so that the Empire wouldn't try to match the handwriting in their databank should it fall in wrong hands. She also used a droid because the handwriting would be very clean, very clear for the Black Knight to read. "You will meet with the flight leader at the base. He, along with the squadron of Z-95s, are prepping up as we speak now and is awaiting your arrival. From there, you will formulate a plan with him." She reached for another pocket of her suit, and took out the credits. She handed them over to the Black Knight, "The credits should be sufficient for you, to fill your ship up with fuel in order to reach our base." To the rest of the patrons within the cantina, it would appear that Mike was giving a down payment to a smuggler she had just hired. "May the Force be with you." She whispered to Darius, as the lady got up and headed for the exit. Soon after, she exited the cantina and disappeared. Mika agreed with the smuggler not to waste any more time, which is why she's wrapping this up as soon as possible.

| Darius, wealthy as he was, had no need of her credits. Nonetheless, a free tank of gas was a free tank, so he accepted graciously; both credits and co-ordinates. He had no reply for her comment, 'May the Force be with you.' The Force was with him, just as it had been at Kamino and it still was. For now, he let her depart, giving her a ten-minute lead before he rose to head back to his vessel. If unimpeded, he would transfer the co-ordinates to to his personal navigation computer on the Escapade and depart for said location at maximum speed. There was no time to waste.
