Through the void for a thousand times a thousand times a thousand years the Rogue Planetoid had drifted through space. Its former father, a long forgotten star, had been subsumed into the cataclysm which had befallen its home system as two stars collided. The massive gravitational forces involved had caused the Rogue Planetoid to be catapulted into deep space. On its frigid surface lay scant memories of what once had been the home to billions of beings.. a few piles of rocks atop an airless surface marked with occasional frozen seas, all that had survived the massive gravitational forces acting upon its once verdant surface. Once it had a warm heart of metals which had flowed below its rocky skin, alas no more, for the rogue planetoid was as cold as the void of space down to its very core. It was this world, once loved, now unremembered and uncared for, the Rogue Planet drifted through space, as moths flock to a light bulb it moved towards the Black Hole, lying in the depths of deep space. Like a knight come to challenge another for the virtue of a maiden it courted its challenger, spinning in a wide pattern around it as if quietly confident. The Rogue Planet was ten thousand miles wide, it had collided with other bodies and come out the better in the past, what did this new for have to compare? It was a mere nothing, a darkness in space..
Thus towards the black hole advanced the Rogue Planet, unknowing of what awaited it.
