| Traveling has become almost an everyday thing for Dexier, and his wookiee friend, Grozharr. This time, traveling took the pair to Nar Shaddaa. They were going to the Refugee Sector, where an abandoned apartment complex resides. They had a tendency to go there from time to time, so that they could hide from the Imperials and from the bounty hunters alike. The pair were on the Empire's wanted list, and they would attract bounty hunters for different reasons. Dexier was a Jedi that needed to be put down. That's worth a lot to the Empire. Grozharr is a wookiee that would fetch a valuable price as a slave. Ever since Order 66, they had a few run-ins with people who wanted them dead...especially the Empire. That is why they kept moving from one place to another.
A modified Sheathipede-class shuttle would make its way toward a landing pad, landing carefully before touching down. The Jedi Knight looked at the wookiee silently for a moment. No words were needed. They knew what to do every time a projected destination was reached. Dexier's eyes would indicate that he carries a burden. Something weighs heavily on his shoulders, and the wookiee didn't need to ask. Grozharr already knew what this was long before the present day. The Jedi got off a chair, walking out of cockpit and toward the landing ramp that would slowly touch down with the permacrete ground. He looked down at the ground for a moment, pondering on his thoughts. In fact, Dexier was also waiting for his companion to catch up. Once Grozharr stood next to Dexier, the Jedi put up the hood to cover his face. His left hand reached for the belt, to check if his lightsaber was there. Indeed it was.
He crossed his arms so his robes would cover the arms as well. The Jedi slowly made his way toward the ground, as the wookiee followed. The pair slowly walked together. Every step the pair made was heavy. Well, the steps Grozharr made would be louder since his feet were heavier than Dexier's. It was figurative in the Jedi's case. Every step Dexier made felt heavy. It had cost Dexier everything in the Clone Wars. He lost everything and everyone he knew during the war and especially Order 66. Many of his Jedi brethrens were killed by both Separatists and clones. Many of the friendships he forged, both Jedi and those that do not feel the Force, were lost during the war. Those that weren't lost during the war, they turned against Dexier. Most of the people he knew personally were gone.
There were times where he would need someone to talk to. His best friend, a Jedi that entered the Order about the same time as him, were killed by the Acolytes. His Master were killed by Order 66 (Dexier had found out through an informat). Master Yoda is no where to be seen. The only friend or family he ever knew at the moment is Grozharr. The more time has passed, the more Dexier believed he was the only Jedi in this galaxy. Thus, he was tasked with both scars of the Clone Wars and aftermath, and burden of possibly being the only Jedi left alive.
He would just shrug the thoughts off and went back to finding their way to get to their hiding spot....
((OOC This is an open RP, everyone is welcomed to post.))Added (24 Jun 2011, 7:19 PM) --------------------------------------------- The Jedi Knight continues to walk as if the whole galaxy weighs down on his shoulders. Along with Grozharr, the pair came upon a busy street. He moved along casually, looking down on the ground. It was apparent that he didn't pay any attention to anyone that had passed him. The vision of a Jedi nearby being killed by the Clones on Kashyyyk before he had a grenade blowing up in his face were still fresh in his mind. It was like it had happened yesterday. The image were in his head every single day for the past decade. Dexier had always felt bad he couldn't save the particular Jedi. Grozharr was always there to assure him that there was nothing he could do, that it wasn't his fault.
The Jedi stopped to look up, looking left and right once. He had let out a heavy sigh, slowly walking into a dark alley where not many people would be able to see him. They were taking a shortcut, but also Dexier felt the need to be away from the populated area. The Force within him wasn't as attuned as it was supposed to be, but it was still strong enough for him to scan the area for a brief moment to ensure that there were no one around. Dexier's abilities in the Force had diminished a little bit, mainly due to his time in exile for the past decade. The Exile felt the need to take a moment, leaning his left arm against the cold, hard wall inside the alleyway. His right hand took the lightsaber off his belt, enabling Dexier to look at it for a moment. Grozharr was kind enough to look around to ensure that nobody would come their way.
There were times where he felt he had to give up the ways of the Jedi. This was one of those moments. It was a dark time. The galaxy is shrouded in darkness. If he was truly the only Jedi alive in the galaxy, then would he be able to fight both Darths Vader and Sidious and come out victorious? The Exile had doubts about that. Then again, the best thing at the moment is the survival of the Jedi Code. If he is truly the only Jedi remaining, then he must do what he can to keep the Code alive. Dexier shook his head, feeling conflicted. He didn't like this feeling at all. This had led him to decide he need a place to forget about everything: a new hobby of his ever since he had become an exile. The Jedi attached the lightsaber back onto his belt, and looked at his wookiee friend. "I need a drink." A firm tone would be heard, coming out of his mouth.
The wookiee did not say anything, not even bothering to anyway. Grozharr had given up on trying to convince Dexier to get off drinking. Yep, he was an alcoholic Jedi. The pair continued their walk down the alleyway, making a couple of turns and getting on a few different streets before ending up being in front of a Cantina. They entered, and the wookiee would find his seat in a dark corner. Meanwhile, the Exile went to the counter and handed out credits that were abundantly enough for him to bring an entire glass bottle of alcohol and a shot. "The usual." He told the bartender, as the guy nodded and took out a bottle of Corellian whiskey from under the table. Handing both the bottle and the shot, the Jedi turned around and headed for the dark corner with them in his hands.
He proceeded to set them down on the table before sitting down, opening the bottle. Dexier looked at Grozharr silently for a moment, before filling the shot with whiskey. Immediately, the Jedi took the shot and gulped the whiskey down his throat. Oh, this was going to be a long night for both of them.

| The feel of the Force, tenuous at best from most of the patrons of the bar, resonated so much more strongly from the hooded male who walked in beside a Wookiee. That was an unexpected sight, considering how most Wookiees were considered cheap slave labor by the Empire these days. The man himself though... well, the pull of the Force was far too strong for him to be an untrained sentient. Jedi, perhaps? The male who relaxed in a rear corner booth that, incidentally, gave him a good view of the cantina and put a wall at his back, wondered what the man might be doing here.
Maximov was in-between jobs at the moment. Senator Thanatos' Inquisitor husband had not yet contacted him, and so he waited. Assignments from on high or a bounty contract would keep him busy eventually. Still, this was a Force-user and while Maximov himself was a Force-user, his job as a hunter came first. Credits in the pocket and all that. As such, he was faced with an odd decision. He'd helped the last Force-user, the odd Tes'dra, to escape Coruscant a jump ahead of the Imperial law. Maximov saw less of good and evil than of balance. As such, it was a problem to decide whether to apprehend this man, or simply let him go.
Leaving it up to the patrons of the bar and of chance, Maximov rolled the dice. His own Force signature, formerly quite suppressed to seem 'normal' now sprung back briefly as he reached out through the Force to tug at the ties of the man's robe and yank outwards. If indeed there was a lightsaber at his belt, it would be easily revealed. The man might not be expecting it, seeing as how he seemed set to do some heavy drinking.

| The Jedi Knight wasn't even buzzed by now, not by a long shot. The one he swallowed was only the first shot. All of sudden he sensed a signature in the Force, but it was only briefly though. It wasn't long enough for him to pinpoint the exact location of this supposed Force user. It didn't feel dark, but it also didn't feel light. Perhaps it was a Force user of entirely another meaning. Like a gray jedi or someone affiliated with a Force faction such as Miraluka. Almost right away, he stopped drinking and had set the shot down on the table.
He began to scan the area with his own eyes, opting not to use the Force out of risk that the Imperials would detect him. Grozharr had been around Dexier for a long time, long enough to know when something's up. The wookiee slowly puts his hands on his bowcaster. The Jedi Knight would ties the robe back, but the question to whether anyone noticed his lightsaber or not...he would find out soon.

| Maximov's sharp eyes noted well how the Wookiee put hands to weapon. Oh, they knew well enough that something was afoot. On Nar Shaddaa, most sentient beings were not likely to care one way or another as to whether or not the man with the Wookiee companion had a lightsaber. Oh, to be sure, the trio of Trandoshans in a corner booth had been staring rather hungrily at the Wookiee, seeing as how the Empire paid well for Wookiee slaves and Trandoshans never passed up the chance to make a buck or two on slavery, not to mention their dislike of Wookiees.
However it lay, these were not normal times, and any Jedi or someone suspected of being a Jedi were worth a solid one million cool credits alive and half as much dead. Either way, it was a good chunk of change. The first man to spot the lightsaber, therefore, promptly exclaimed, "Jedi!" And drew down on the supposed Jedi with a small blaster pistol. This patron was obviously going after the 'dead' bounty. Of course, though he was the first to react, others were likely to be responding as well. The Trandoshan trio in the corner weren't likely to pass up this opportunity.
Maximov cursed the luck, though; other people gunning for the Jedi meant other people to have to split a bounty with... or who could take it from him. The slick little GRS-1 snare rifle came out from beneath his cloak, still under the table, as he tried to get a good sight on the Jedi and his Wookiee companion.

| The Jedi would be able to sense the tensions of the Trandoshans in another corner of the bar. The feeling had been there ever since he and Grozharr entered into the bar. He also had sensed Grozharr's tension toward the Trandoshans. Both species seems to dislike each other, based on his experience as a Watchman on Kashyyyk and as a Jedi General during the Clone Wars. However, that wasn't the most threatening sense he was experiencing. That one came almost right away. Right after a tug on his robe, which revealed his lightsaber.
Once he heard one of the patrons scream out the word that made him one of the most hunted sentient beings of the galaxy, he immediately builds up enough Force within his right palm to send the table to the very same patron. At the same moment, his wookiee friend grabbed the bowcaster right before the table was tossed across the bar. Although the table would provide a temporary barrier between the duo and some of the patrons that is about to gun down, it doesn't cover a lot of area. They'd have the other side to worry about. Dexier, with his left hand, drew out the lightsaber. In the process, activating it would cause a blue glow come alive.
They weren't going to stay and fight against multiple enemies, not when he's going to be in bounty hunters' nest. In order to fight back, he'd have to force all the bounty hunters to split up. That is, if there's a decent number of people going after the Jedi and the Wookiee. The Jedi's lightsaber would provide for protection, while the Wookiee would fire a couple of laser bolts toward the Trandoshans. They were doing a such thing while bolting for the exit. The duo would have to get out of there quickly, before a stray bullet managed to nick one of them.

| The unfortunate patron, a Rodian by chance, had barely cleared his blaster pistol from its holster when the table fairly flattened him and a number of people behind him against a wall. That was the start of a mass panic. There were those who would run and those who would fight, as well as those too drunk to know what was going on. While the bartender was flapping his hands above his head, crying out, "Not in my bar! No fights in my bar!" Not quite realizing nobody was listening, the Wookiee decided to pop a few shots at the Trandoshan slavers. Now a blaster might have been acceptable, but when one of the bolts (non-explosive, so it seemed) struck one of the Trandoshans in the shoulder, it seemed to rather upset the group. The one who'd been struck was spun around by the force of the blow, his well-aimed Slavemaster stun carbine flying wide, sending its payload to strike one of the fleeing dancing girls in the back and sending her into unconsciousness. Her sudden drop to the floor, incidentally, meant that a number of fleeing patrons tripped over her and ended up on the floor as well.
The other two Trandoshans seemed to object to the treatment of their friend though; one drew an ACP repeater and lit up the area where the Jedi and his Wookiee companion were standing. Of course, there were people in the way as well, and more than one would be badly injured as the Trandoshan sprayed forty rounds of accelerated particle shots. He'd need to reload of course, but there was a chance the Jedi could have been pinned by the inaccurate, but usually effective suppressive fire. Of course, it was the final Trandoshan where the real problem originated from. He'd decided not to go home; he'd decided to go big. The stock of a Stouker concussion rifle was up against his shoulder and when he fired, it would rapidly become apparent that he was not using the 'indoor' mode. The blast from the concussion rifle was aimed to strike near the feet of the Jedi and the Wookiee, and it had a four-meter blast radius.
This meant a lot of things for Maximov. Once the Trandoshans lit up the place, Maximov was forced to take cover behind a number of knocked-over tables. He wasn't about to go throwing Force here and there; better to look like a standard nobody bounty-hunter. His GRS-1 was still primed and ready, but there was a table between a clear shot at the Jedi and himself, and the Trandoshans were making movement impossible. He might well have to defeat the lizards.

| The bar was going straight into chaos pretty fast, and it was on Nar Shaddaa out of all the places. Once the word got out that a Jedi and a Wookiee was involved in a bar fight that went bad, every bounty hunter on the Smuggler's Moon would go looking for the duo. That is, providing that they got out of the bar alive. It was far easier for Dexier to fight as a Jedi General during the infamous Clone Wars than it is to fight as a Jedi on the run. Mainly because he'd have people to reinforce him in a fight. This time around, the only sentient being reinforcing Dexier is Grozharr.
The Jedi Knight was more than capable of defecting several blaster bolts, but there was so many stray laser bolts. While they regrettably would kill multiple innocent civilians, the patrons in front of the duo would provide some shielding. He wasn't worried about his own safety, he was worried about Grozharr's. The ex-General could defect multiple laser bolts, but he wasn't Master Yoda. He couldn't defect them all. With how big of a target Grozharr is, it's possible that he would get hit. Dexier was trying his best to defect the shots, moving back a feet by a feet toward the exit. He had hoped his wookiee friend wouldn't get hit, even though Grozharr had a less of a chance to get hit since the Jedi was the one doing the defecting.
Then a Stouker concussion rifle was being brought into play. Dexier didn't see those model during the Clone Wars. Which means they were likely to be designed thereafter. He wasn't all that familiar with the design, but he was armed with the knowledge that concussion rifles usually pack a punch. "Move!" The Jedi barked at the wookiee behind him. Grozharr was big, but not fast. Dexier doesn't have much room to use the Force to push the wookiee out of the way. Even if he succeed at doing so, that'd leave his back vulnerable to blaster attacks. An especially unwise move for a veteran like Dexier. The only option is to use the Force in an attempt defect the blast back toward the Trandoshans, or at least move backwards to lessen the damage.
While moving back and defecting the laser bolts with his lightsaber in his left hand, the right hand mustered enough Force to be launched toward the blast. Hopefully, it would go a bit in his favor.

| The cantina's entrance was jammed shut with the press of sentient beings; both those trying to escape and those drawn from outside by the rapidly spreading cries of 'Jedi!' as such, exit through the main egress was quite impossible, barring a sudden clearing. It was pure luck then that the push against the primary shot of the Stouker was deflected to the side; not precisely at the Trandoshan trio, but somewhere between them and the Jedi and his valiant Wookiee companion. With a four-meter explosive kill radius, there was a sudden rain of gore coming down as it had impacted quite close to a huddled group of non-humans who had gathered near a wall booth for cover. The upside of this unfortunate devastation was that there was now a rather decent-sized hole in the wall; enough for a man to squeeze through though it would still be a tight fit, and certainly not enough for a Wookiee; even a runt.
The explosion had knocked the standing pair of Trandoshan slavers off their feet, but the third, wielding the Slavemaster, fired from the floor on the now-clear path directly at the Wookiee. Behind him, the Trandoshan with the ACP was trying desperately to correct a jam, while the slaver with the Stouker had been temporarily knocked senseless, his weapon still loosely cradled in his arms.
Maximov, still behind the Jedi and his Wookiee companion and largely left alone in the rush to exit the building, cursed and switched his target from the Jedi and Wookiee to a Rodian on the Jedi's right in a blind spot, who'd trained a rather lethal-looking disruptor pistol on the pair. Maximov's finger kissed the trigger and the Rodian slumped, struck by the shockstun mist and the and then pinned by the liquid spraynet that was the follow-on portion of the shot, effectively pinning down the would-be killer.

| An explosion had occurred. Indeed, it was lethal enough to shred a lot of sentient beings to pieces. Things were getting out of hand. For those that had been in sorts of fight numerous times, they had a tendency to keep their composure...such as Dexier and Grozharr. The standard exit of the bar was now impossible to use, due to the fact that there was a masses of people blocking. Once the blast was defected, his free hand would reattach itself to the hilt of the lightsaber. The blast had provided the duo an unexpected, but welcomed opportunity.
While the blast didn't harm both the Jedi and the wookiee, it had pushed Dexier a few feet back. In a weird way, this had brought him back to the old times. Back to the days of the Clone Wars. Both Dexier and Grozharr knows the model of the Slavemaster all too well. They had encountered a lot of those during Dexier's time as a Watchman and during the Clone Wars. It was primarily being used to stun live opponents. Usually, lightsabers doesn't defect stun blasts. At the corner of his left eye, he spots a hole in the wall that the blast had caused. It was enough for him to squeeze through, but Grozharr wouldn't be able to.
Sticking to the code and honor of the Jedi, he opted not to leave his friend to his fate. A Rodian was about to pull a trigger on the pair when a shot had impacted and killed him. Did they have someone else shooting for them? They were too busy to consider that at the moment. Grozharr would try his best to get out of the path of the stun, and in the process, fired a laser bolt toward the Trandoshan trying to unjam his gun. Meanwhile, Dexier sees this as an opportunity for an attack. Once again, he mustered enough Force to aid in his speed. The Jedi ran, with the aid of the Force, over to the trio. His blue lightsaber aiming to slice the third Trandoshan's half.

| The Rodian had not been killed; simply stunned and then more or less glued to the bar he'd been using as cover. The Trandoshan with the Slavemaster had a clear shot and a steady aiming point from the floor, being in the prone after all. Wookiees were agile and fast, but with the range between them and due to the Wookiee's time to aim and fire at the ACP-armed Trandoshan, there was a very good chance that at least part of the stun blast would catch him. Nonetheless, Grozharr's efforts weren't completely wasted: as the Trandoshan with the ACP came up from the floor, his weapon finally unjammed, he was in time to catch the bolt square in the face, removing the upper half and dropping what was left back to the floor.
Assuming that Dexier was attacking the Trandoshan armed with the Slavemaster and not the senseless one on the floor, he would be met with limited success. The Jedi-Wookiee pair had been standing close together and it was a matter of an instant to switch aim from Wookiee to Jedi. The Trandoshan would indeed fire a second shot at the Jedi. However, he had not taken account of the extra burst of speed granted by the Force. It was good odds in the Jedi's favor that he would be missed by the shot, or perhaps barely grazed. As the Trandoshan was on the floor and not at all in a good position for defense against a close-range standing opponent, he would not even be able to gain his knees before the lightsaber bisected him cleanly in half. The third Trandoshan was still unconscious.
Maximov, having frozen the Rodian for the moment, looked around for other threats. Many of the would-be killers and bounty-hunters had been decimated by the concussion rifle's blast. Many were senseless on the floor, with weapons strewn about, but quite a few would recover. Maximov had to make a gamble. Raising up, he dropped the barrel of the GRS-1 and called out to the Jedi.
"Hey! Get over here! I know a back way out!"

| Grozharr had managed to kill the Trandoshan but not before being hit partially by the stun blast. Since he was a wookiee, Dexier had hoped he'd fare better than that of an ordinary human. The Jedi was already focused on killing the Trandoshan that was aiming for him. He didn't get to the reptilian without a scratch, though. The laser bolt barely grazed Dexier's right arm, leaving him with a hole in his robe and a small scratch. Indeed, he felt a small burn but it didn't slow him down at all. Especially when he had completed the job of disarming the Trandoshan.
Dexier paused for a moment, once everything appears to calm down. At least for the moment. The first thing he did was to turn around and look at the wookiee to see if he was okay. Grozharr appears to be out cold. Since it was only a part of the stun blast that had hit him, it won't take long for the wookiee to wake up. The problem with that is, by the time he wakes up, the rest of the pack would probably be waking up by then as well. Then there's this guy that had shown himself as someone that would help the pair. He doesn't seem to recognize the stranger, but it is possible that this man was the one that fired at the Rodian. Dexier didn't have much time to decide, on whether to go with the man and how to get Grozharr out of there.
"Let's go then!" The Jedi Knight shouted back at the stranger, rushing over to the wookiee in an attempt to wake him up. Dexier didn't intend on leaving his friend behind, and he would kept his lightsaber activated in case the bounty hunters wakes up by the time he got his friend to wake up.

| The Wookiee might well wake up soon, despite the fact that the Slavemaster had been designed with Wookiees in mind. It was a powerful weapon, not often found outside of the Trandoshan species though. For now, with two Trandoshans down, Maximov used the moment to rush forward, slinging his GRS-1 in favor of snatching up the Stouker. The Trandoshan who'd formerly owned the weapon was conscious enough to growl something unintelligible at Maximov, who responded with a boot to the creature's face, dropping it back into unconsciousness.
"Find some cover!" Maximov primed the concussion rifle, aimed it at the wall where he'd been seated and cut loose with two blasts. Even steadied, the weapon's kick pushed him back a step. The far wall disintegrated into a mass of flying shrapnel as a gaping hole was opened. "Back way out. Let's beat feet quick." Maximov tossed down the Stouker; it would never be his weapon of choice. Lack of precision and no stun setting. Cradling his GRS-1 once more, Maximov made for the hole to meet up with the Jedi. "Get that damn bag of fur awake and up or I'm leaving you both. I didn't come here to commit suicide. He turned and fired another shockstun at a nearby human who'd recovered enough of his senses to try aiming, albeit with an unsteady hand, his pistol towards the three beings still standing.
"Tell me you have a ship of some kind here or we may be in trouble."

| By the time Maximov had told Dexier to find some cover, the Jedi Knight immediately builds up enough Force to pull a nearby table to the Jedi and the recent conscious wookiee. By the time they had found cover, a couple of blasts would be felt and heard. It would ring in both of their ears. Indeed, it was really loud. Then Dexier would get up, and helped Grozharr get up as well. The Jedi Knight chuckled lightly when Maximov actually meant the BACK way out. He would keep his lightsaber activated. It was unwise to lower his defenses at this time.
Especially with all the mob outside shouting out his title. "Grozharr, let's haul butt." The wookiee was the first one to bolt for the gaping hole. Then the former General followed by, "Of course, it's inside a docking bay not far from here." He would leap through the hole and landed onto the permacrete streets, along with the wookiee. "This way." He spoke back at the stranger, already running down the streets.

| "Snuff that damn lightsaber, will you?" Maximov irritated growl overrode the sound of his boots on the duracrete sidewalk. There were plenty of eyes at the front of the tavern and still plenty around the hole he'd made. The crowd wasn't about to swallow up a man with a lightsaber that easily. As Maximov ran, he punched a number of digits on his wrist-mounted comm system, sending the automatic payment to the Nar Shaddaa docking office and giving the Fist of the Suns the automated command to take off. It would be in low orbit within five or six minutes. The second part of the code contacted his droid crew on the Anvil of the Suns, instructing them to standby above Nar Shaddaa, moving them in-system from where they'd been waiting. The movements were quick and stealthy and from where he was running behind the pair, likely not noticeable.
"I'm going to need to catch a ride with you, and you may need an extra gun outta this place. Damn Jedi. Why the hell did ya have to drop into that particular bar? With my luck, they'll remember my face and from there, it's a hop and a skip into an Imperial prison."

| The Jedi deactivated his lightsaber, and attached it to the belt...hidden away once again. While Nar Shaddaa is a very good place to hide, it is still the bounty hunters' nest. Dexier and Grozharr would probably end up on the HoloNet sometimes soon, thus attracting an even bigger attention. He'll worry about that later, as they ran off down the streets. Shortly thereafter, he made a quick turn into the dark alley. At least there were nobody in the alley at the moment, he looked back at the stranger. "Well, they wouldn't have gone after you if you weren't helping me out. You could have chosen to leave the place. Thus it was your choice to help me."
He stopped speaking and continued to run down the alleyway, along with the wookiee. The Jedi would make yet another turn, there was only one more turn left now until they get to another street leading up to the hangar bay.
