The RSF speeder came to a slow stop behind the Imperial and his (now parked) speeder bike. They were a few meters outside Kwilaan, on a grassy patch of land between the tree line and the back of the nearest buildings. Vanderbilt puffed himself up, his blonde moustache seeming almost to perk up as he put on his most official airs and opened his passenger side door. "Hit the brights, will you McCott?" The Private thought this was a nice touch; he smiled as he turned the speeder's spotlight on the speeder bike as Corporal Vanderbilt stepped onto the grass, put his hat on, and walked up to the Imperial scout. "How many times?" Vanderbilt called out to the scout on his way to him. "How many times have I told your superiors not to run these patrols at night? You like waking everyone up, is that it? You're bored out here on Naboo and think it's fun to piss off as many people as you can? What's your name and number, and what's the meaning of this?" He paused his fusillade of questions long enough for the scout to answer, the Corporal's hands defiantly on his hips as he'd come to stand uncomfortably close to the Imperial, very much 'in his face' or, rather, his faceplate. The other RSF officers watched from the speeder, paying more attention to the confrontation than to their radio.

Meanwhile, the PKN-49 droid shuddered as its circuits fried, then clattered to the floor of the depot, inoperable. The computer terminal was intact, but wouldn't be a problem for the Gungans with no one there to operate it. It would trigger an alert when the Gungans scrambled back over the fence, or cut through it, or whatever they decided to do to move the stolen supplies out of the depot, but the alert would sound on the computer terminal for a full minute before, with no response from the PKN droid, it became an alarm that would be broadcast to the nearby RSF station. But that would be a full minute after the Gungans made their escape; for now, the RSF remained blissfully unaware of the raid on its depot and Vanderbilt continued to await his answer from the Imperial scout.

He looked at the RSF Corporal as he rained down his questions, and seemingly anger, at their patrol. He could, honestly, care less what the militiaman thought of their operations, but he would entertain him. It was also a chance to get his own amusement, on an otherwise dull patrol. "Well, seeing to your rank, I'm going to go with, you've never talked to my command." he said, smirking inside his helmet. He continued to answer each question that had been hurled at him, "Whether or not we wake up, or piss off, anyone is of no consequence. Night-time isn't going to stop the Gungans from attacking you, in whatever fashion the half-brained, over-evolved tadpoles conjure up. I'm Sergeant Ice, CT-29/8395; and this is our new patrol route with the re-organization of Imperial bases following the surge of the Imperial Army's 159th Assault Battlegroup. You have a concern? Take it up with the 159th's commander, Brigadier General Aurelius, your new Military Governor. I'm sure he'll tell you to deal with it; the floppy eared bastards have no idea what the hell is coming their way. Now, why don't you be a helpful militiaman and tell me, have you had any odd occurrences this evening? Maybe a mass group of duck-billed retards on the move for no apparent reason?" he said, completing his berating of the RSF Corporal, and beginning a questioning of his own.

Ice, while his name was due to his coolness, and his lack of any emotion in his tirade against the RSF Corporal was a testament to this, was not a pleasant Clone. Nor were any, really, in the 21st. Many had come to believe it was a gathering of the more aggressive clones, ones who either had their cloning tanks spiked or took a little too well to the teachings of Mandalorian culture they were given. Either way, their battle record spoke on its own, and it was clear, when they were sent somewhere, it was to do bad things to something considered an enemy. Their enemy on Naboo, were the Gungans... and they were ready to inflict as much pain and misery as possible upon the species.

The two gungans scrambled up and over the fence, each carrying their own bag of weapons as they rejoined the groups that had sent them on the quick raid. The stromtroopers patrol, which had been stopped by the RSNF had the unfortunate event of giving the Gungans time to flee the scene, which they did with the utmost haste. With the RSNF busy dealing with the night time patrol of the stromtroopers from the nearby garrison, the gungans slipped out of town, and over the hills. When they reached the randevu point, the teams split up and headed into the swamps that crept up on the hills and grasslands. Those that had come in on the STAPs were pulled back, yet remained on alert should they be required to come to the aid of the gungans now heading into the swamps.
