She had been afforded the Empress Teta Senatorial apartments on Imperial Center, not far from the Senate building itself. The last few days she had been staying in an upscale hotel on the opposite side of the Senate building as her predecessor had taken his sweet time in moving out. She shook her head thinking of it, the old man was disgustingly kind and overbearing with it.

She smiled darkly, thinking about the way the old man had come on to her the night before. She took a clip out of her extensively tamed hair and set it down on the counter of the vanity in front of her. It had been such a naïve attempt on his part, what did he think? That she just turned over for anyone? He was old, not to mention how clumsy his attempt had been. She shook her head from side to side as her hair unfurled itself. She closed her eyes and pressed her fingertips to her forehead, massaging her skin for a moment before sliding her fingers through her thick hair.

Her eyes opened and she looked at herself in the tranquil almost silence of her quarters. She had a fountain in the atrium of the apartment that constantly cycled water through, and with its reassuring drip, drip and drip she sighed. As much as any place had ever been in her life, the luxurious quarters afforded here would now be home. Home; it was such a quaint concept. Of course she was from Empress Teta and had grown up with a roof over her head at all times, nice ones at that.

Her home however, had died when her parents did and her no good sister Kendra had been “too young” to handle it. Anger rose up in her chest as she thought about it. Primitive Gungans, second class citizens on their native world had the audacity to fight for their home, for their family. Her sister, however? No, Kendra had no such pride or desire to take care of her own. Of course, now that “Ava” as her sister called her, was a success, she was quick to claim her.

“I still hate you Kendra.” She said quietly, her voice laced with bitterness as she finished wiping the makeup from her face. She stood up and curled her bare toes into the thick carpet of her bedroom floor. She reached behind her back and undid the clasp at the top of the back of her dress and undid the rest of the back, folding the top half of the dress down and then sliding it past her hips and stepping out of it. She kicked it to the side of the room with a flick of her foot, and stepped into the bathroom.

The shower water was hot and powerful. The water pressure was excellent and she reveled in it, ducking her face down and letting the water crash into the back of her head and cascade down her neck and back as she rested her forehead on the cool tile of the wall. She hadn’t realized just how tense she had been the entire day, standing in front of the Senate announcing her nomination had been more stressful than she had imagined it would be. She had spent time in the Chamber before, but never as the focus of attention.

Stepping out the shower with her hair twisted up in a towel with another wrapped around her torso, she kneaded her feet into the cushion of the floor mat outside her shower, making sure the soles of her feet were dry before she stepped back into the bedroom. She took a seat on the front corner of her bed and rested her hands in her lap, her gaze drawn to the closet. In the corner on the floor there was a box, it held a book that had killed Zena somehow. Except for what she had learned from Zena in those few years together, it was all that remained of the closest thing to a mother she’d ever known. She hadn’t ever tried to open it, and she wasn’t entirely sure what it was to be perfectly honest.

She knew it needed to go. Or be hidden somewhere better than her apartments. She just hadn’t been able to decide what she wanted to do with it. Her comm unit was laying in the middle of the bed, she leaned over, half laying down on her side as she grabbed it and sat back up. She keyed in a few commands and then held it as she waited for an answer.

“Yes Lady?” Her assistant answered the phone. He was just barely 19. He had won some scholarship or other on Empress Teta funded by the office of the Senator. It entitled him to certain privileges, such as being the Senator’s aid on breaks from school. Predictably he was in love with her, constantly fawning and scrambling to please her however he could. She had no interest in him, he was quite plain looking and she had been surprised to hear he had gotten the scholarship, after meeting him. He seemed as if he were challenged somehow.

“You confirmed my reservation tonight?” She spoke in a clipped tone into the comm unit.

“Yes Lady.” His voice crackled in affirmative over the comm unit.

“Good. Have my speeder waiting outside in thirty minutes.”

“I’ll get right to it.”

“Thank you Dandric.” She said, a smile slipping into her voice. It was useful after all, to have such a devoted, if sometimes challenged assistant.

“You..” He stumbled over his words for a moment.

“You’re welcome, m’lady.”

She turned the comm unit back off and tossed it back to the center of the bed. She let out a sigh and got up from where she sat and dropped the towel from around her torso and stepped into the walk in closet. She bit on her bottom lip as she considered the racks of clothes hanging there. She reached out and took a hot pink spaghetti strapped, form fitting pink dress by the hanger and walked back into the bedroom. She draped it over the back of the chair in front of her vanity and sat back down, to redo her make up.

She looked herself over one last time in her full length mirror hanging on her bedroom door. The form hugging hot pink dress, matching heels and a simple, small black clutch. She smiled and ran the tip of her tongue over the dark red lipstick she wore. She had her hair down. The Senate was going to require an uptight hair do often enough, that she almost refused to wear it any other way when she wasn’t making an official appearance.
She picked up her comm from the bed and keyed it one more time.

“Oh Dandric?” His nervous chatter answered a few moments later.

“Yes m’lady?”

“Are you outside with the speeder?”

“Right outside.”

“Good. I’ll be out in a moment.”

She rested her elbow against the side of the door and her chin on top of her first. Her green eyes surveyed the blur of lights and metal as the air speeder sliced through the Imperial Center night sky. She felt Dandric's eyes on her from his side of the vehicle, she sighed and turned her head to look in his direction. She took her elbow from its comfortable spot against the door and gestured with a flick of her hand towards the windshield.

"You might want to watch where you're going, else I'll have a short term as Senator." She quipped at him. He turned his attention back to the sky lane, his cheeks reddening conspicuously.

"My ap.."

"My apologies, M'lady." He tripped over his tongue and stammered out. She shook her head and turned her own attention to the sky lane. More than anything else, this reminded her of Empress Teta. Her's and Imperial Center were similar. Cinnagar covered most of her world, and it was a city world just as Imperial Center was. She hadn't been homesick ever before in her life, but tonight it seemed she was. She found the realization uncomfortable and shifted in her seat, leaning her head back against the head rest. She closed her eyes and the next few minutes of the flight passed silently, Dandric's hand's clammy in a tight grip on the steering control of the air speeder. He swallowed the lump in his throat and found the nerve to ask a question,

"Are you meeting someone tonight?" She met his question with silence for a few moments, before letting her eyes open slowly and turning to regard him with a languid smile on her face. She tilted her head to the side just a bit as she answered,

"Why, Dandric? Is that jealousy?" It occurred to her that it wasn't the most dignified or political way to treat her aid, but they were similar in age and it didn't take her enhanced perception to realize he was hopelessly in lust with her. Poor fool. She thought to herself, looking back to the view in front of her before he could answer. She leaned forward and pointed.

"Go ahead and set us down there." Again before he could answer her previous question. A minute or so later spent in silence, the air speeder was set down in an appropriate landing area for her chosen venue; The Clarendox. A high scale venue, the kind of venue that Avadrie was accustomed to. There was a few moments of hissing as the sealed cockpit of the air speeder unlatched and lifted up. She grabbed her clutch from the dashboard and stepped out of the speeder. She looked over her shoulder to Dandric. She took a brief glance at the small chrono she wore on loose, dangling band around her left wrist.

"Be here in two hours." And then she turned and sauntered towards the front of the establishment.

She was furious but hid it with an aristocrat's charm and grace. A dazzling smile danced across her face as she nodded while the host explained how her reservation, made several days in advance and confirmed just a short few hours ago had been forgotten in the midst of a busier than usual night. If she didn't mind waiting, perhaps at the bar; they would of course have her table in hopefully a short while.

The well dressed host took her hand, uttered his sincere apologies yet another time, kissed her hand in a courtly fashion and the stepped away. She glared daggers at him as he walked away, before taking a deep breath and looking towards the bar.

She slid smoothly onto the smooth reflective top of the bar stool, crossing her legs and tapping her fingers idly on the bar until the silver haired bartender turned and regarded her with his blue eyes. She tilted her head to the side and traced the tip of her tongue across her lips.

"What'll it be?" He asked, his hands working at making a drink already for another patron of the establishment.

"A Pink Durindfire, if you've got it." She replied quickly, having made up her mind as she'd walked up the bar as to what she wanted. She had also decided to give up on the table for the night, her gaze danced around the restaurant as she slid atop the stool to rest her elbow and back against the bar top and look out away from the bar. Emperor knew she was thankful that the attempt by Senator Ordan to ban alcohol for human women had been voted down. After a day like today, she needed the liquid relaxation that her glowing drink would soon provide.

She heard the clink of a glass on the bar top as he set the ready drink down beside her. She turned her head slowly to the side and regarded the glass,

"So whats a pretty thing like you..." And his voice faded into the background clamor of the crowd at the restaurant. She didn't like faddish looks and his silver hair put her off completely, and so like many more before him; the bartender was completely ignored. She curled her fingers around the stem of the glass and raised it to her lips, taking a sip. You'll only be new for a while, Ava. Won't be able to frequent places alone like this. She thought to herself. Of course, the media would soon notice a Senator drinking alone at night, and not just any Senator, but the young, beautiful and eligible Avadrie volFyr.

She had thought about bringing someone from Empress Teta with her to Imperial Center. She hadn't wanted for male attention back home, and it was her last conquest that had in a large part vaulted her to her current position. She thought about Adzel for a brief moment, before she took another longer sip from her drink. She sighed in muted exasperation. A durindfire wasn't a particularly potent drink to begin with, but it appeared the bartender had shorted her on the alcohol content. Oh well. You wanted new challenges. As her thoughts drifted back to Adzel. Her gaze slid from an aimless point in front of her to a large holoscreen that was playing on the wall, perched in one of the room's corners.

There's always Dandric...if you're desperate. She quickly dismissed the thought. She had no taste at all for fawning, conviction lacking men. And of course, now that she was a Senator she couldn't just run around as she had before. There were consequences to be considered for all of her actions now, consequences of galactic proportion. No. She had maneuvered herself in the Senate to further herself and her planet, and so now her conquests would have to be political in nature.

She'd spent countless hours prior to her arrival on Imperial Center scouring old Senate records, reviewing profiles and background information put together for her by her aids about the already established Senators and at the moment, sipping again from her pink drink, she was merely thankful that so many of them were men, and 'old fashioned' men at that. It made everything easier. Play the demure, sweet, submissive woman and she'd soon have enough of them in her pocket to make things happen.

But where to start? She'd read the message from the ruler of Monor II, and it piqued her interest. Perhaps offering to mediate between the parties would be a good start for her career? Hmm...Possible. Or perhaps something, more nefarious?

It was the first night on Coruscant for him. Lianna had been his home for the entire thirty years of his life. Being the CEO of his company, it didn't allow many times out on the town. Hunter was here to meet with the Senate, but there was a single problem that he still needed to overcome before he could actually have his meeting.

One of the board members had recommended a place for him to visit while on Coruscant, The Clarendox. Business wasn't on his mind tonight. Having a good time was his main focus.

The Clarendox was extremely crowded tonight. His eyes quickly scanned the bar, looking for an empty stool. Upon spotting one, Hunter carefully pushed his way through and took a seat there at the bar. As the bartender came up, he asked Hunter, "What can I get for you?" He only had one drink that he preferred, Corellian Rum.

"Let me get a Corellian Rum and Cola. Easy on the ice, and don't short me on the rum." The bartender nodded to him as he began making the drink. Hunter slipped a credit chip to him that would be enough to cover the drink and a pretty good tip for him. Just as he would get his drink, a woman would take the seat next to him. His eyes would move to take a look at her. She was a very pretty woman. One that knew how to carry herself out in public. A small smirk came across his face as she completely ignored the bartender's question. The drink, however, intrigued him. An interesting choice, he thought. Hunter would turn to the bartender as he tiled his glass back, finishing off his drink. He would set the glass down and order another drink. He would turn to the woman, "Let me guess, you work in the Senate Building?"

He wasn't sure if he too would be ignored, or if she would return his question with an answer. Either way, he would give talking to her a try.

"Let me guess, you work in the Senate Building?"

Her lips lingered on the rim of her glass for a long moment as she acknowledged his question with the flick of her eyes towards him, she'd heard him. An amused smile danced across her features as she sat the drink down again once more, her fingers curled delicately around the glass's stem. She had turned her head completely to look directly at the man that had addressed her and shifted slightly atop the bar stool so that her body was angled just barely towards him. It was a subtle sign that she was paying attention to him.

"That ale must not slow you down too much." She seemed to consider something for a moment,

"Corellian, I presume?" And she meant the drink. Assured of the answer she reached across her body with her other hand, offering the man her hand with her palm facing down, fingers dangling in the manner that a woman accustomed to courtly behavior might present her hand when introducing herself to someone.

"Avadrie volFyr, at your service. What made you think I work in the Senate building?" She asked; the keen minded might notice that she didn't ask for his name in return. He had started the conversation, he had asked where she worked. It was understandable on her part to assume that he'd also offer his name, not too mention the simple psychology of it. Men loved to talk about themselves, as well as prove that they should be talked about.

She had already made several assumptions about the man sitting next to her. He wore clothing that made it obvious he had money, well made and clean but it was also possible that he wasn't just another fawning sycophant. He drank a 'manly' drink - If a man drank anything more feminine than she did, there was a definite problem. So for now, she'd humor his attentions.

The subtle signs of the elegant woman paying attention made him even more interested in her. That was the only sign that he needed in order to further into the conversation with her. He turned his stool towards her, giving him a full view of her.

A small smile came across his face as he listened to her. She had such a beautiful voice. There was a moment that Hunter was caught up in her voice. He gave a slight nod before responding to her.

"Your presumption is correct. It's Corellian Rum. The only thing I drink. Had so much of it, that it doesn't really hit me until a few more in." He picked up his glass, taking a sip. Just hearing the name of the alcohol made him want another taste. He set the glass down and began to introduce himself.

"The name is Hunter Krandor." There would have been a slight pause as he took a quick moment to look at her, "The way you carry yourself. I've seen many women around here on Coruscant, and the only ones that carry themselves with such elegance, as you do, work in the Senate Building. Now, here's where the magic really comes in...your the new Senator from Empress Teta System, aren't you?"

There would have been a slight smirk on his face. He had heard news of a new representative for some of the Core Worlds. Upon further investigation, he had found one of the images that had been taken. It was an odd coincidence that he had been at the same place and same time as she would have been there.

He hadn't wanted to fully introduce himself until they would begin talking further into their careers. His company was a big deal in his life, but not something he normally liked to throw around.

The flattery was typical. He ostensibly had money. He ostensibly had class, if he was hanging out with people who worked at the Senate. The thought crossed her mind that perhaps he wasn’t as well off as he appeared, and was instead the local heartthrob – for the hired help. The following thought and potential tabloid amused her;

Novice Senator bags Janitor on Debut Night

“You’re very kind, Mr. Krandor.” Feigned humility usually drove men to shower her with more compliments; which she didn’t necessarily dislike. She thrived on them, to be honest. A smile danced at the edges of her mouth as she lifted her glass to her lips again, taking a slow, measured sip of the glimmering pink liquid. She watched to see his immediate reaction to being called ‘Mr.’ instead of, what was it again? Hunter. Yes, that’s what he said.

She set the drink back down and pressed her lips together for a moment, much like she had done earlier in the evening after putting on the dark red lipstick she was wearing, the same lipstick that had mild venom in it that made her lips appear fuller than they usually were.

The bartender meanwhile, was standing behind the bar glaring daggers at her when he had a moment or two to do it, considering how busy the bar was. Little did he know that she hadn’t thought he was unfortunate looking – it was just unfortunate that he had bright silver hair on his head, she couldn’t possibly be seen consorting with someone who could very well not be entirely human, now could she? Human High Culture, after all.

“Yes, I am the Senator from Empress Teta.” It seemed she was always smiling as another one shone on her face,

"A girl might not think its coincidence that you're here tonight, knowing who I am like that." Her tone was light and playful, out of the corner of her eye she could see the impeccably dressed host standing nearly on his tippy toes, looking around for her, she assumed. Glancing away from Hunter for the moment and catching the host's attention she gave him a short side to side wave to bring him over. She looked back to Hunter as she awaited his answer, while the host squeezed and maneuvered his way to the pair sitting at the bar.

Little did she know, he wasn't one of the locals. He nodded back to her telling him that he was very kind. The title, however, was something he was very familiar with hearing. Everyone that he had ever come in contact in regards to his company had used that title. It had become something he really didn't pay attention to.

"Just telling it how I see it, ma'am." His eyes closely watched as she picked up her drink, taking a slow sip from the glass. He couldn't help get caught up in watching her. He would smile a little, unknowingly.

He hadn't noticed anyone else around them. His focus was mainly on the woman sitting across from him on the next bar stool. It took a moment for him to realize that she had responded, confirming his remark about her being the new Senator from Empress Teta. He was too busy looking into those eyes of hers. There was a look of dedication in them that he could see. Dedication was something that he admired, something that he too had for his line of work.

He didn't bother looking at who she gave the short wave to. He immediately responded on her comment about it not being a coincidence that he was there tonight, knowing just exactly who she was, and the power that came along with her newly acquired position.

"Actually it is a complete coincidence. I was told about this place from a few of my board members. They said that the bar here made the best drinks, and the people that come ere are of a higher class. I just couldn't believe the amount of time ahead that I would have needed to make a reservation for a table." He would have given a small laugh, trying to ease the small amount of tension there was between the two of them.

The dapper host came to a halt a mere few feet from where Avadrie sat on her stool,

“Madame, your table is now ready. I offer my most sincere apologies for the unexpected wait.” The man said, bowing forward slightly as he said it. She set her glass down on the bar top and gaze the host the attention of her glittering green yes for a moment,

“And I humbly accept your sincere apologies. Don’t trouble yourself over it, “ she gestured with her now free hand to the scene surrounding them,

“It is simply a symptom of the allure of your establishment. “ She finished. The host nodded several times in the eager manner of a boot licker and replied with something akin to a forced laugh,

“Of course milady, perhaps I could show yourself and the gentleman to your table?” She smiled and leaning back, the small of her back pressed against the edge of the bar she looked to Hunter.

“You won’t refuse me, will you Hunter?” She asked but rather expected to be told yes. Her teenage years spent driving the noble boys of her world insane had paid off with a certain amount of experience. Hunter Krandor was under her spell, and she knew it.

She’d stand and wait for Hunter to do the same, so she could deftly take hold of her elbow with her hands as she rightly expected the gentleman to offer her his arm. The host would lead the pair through the main room of the restaurant and then out to the patio that due to the skyscraper nature of Imperial Center, was open to the elements except for a thin, barely seen duraplast ‘bubble’ of sorts that allowed for air conditioning and protection from the elements and wind. It wouldn’t do at all, after all for the venue to ruin the effort Avadrie had put into her hair that evening.

With any amount of social grace, Krandor would pick up on the cue to pull out her chair for her at the table the host directed them to. She’d take a seat, take a moment to cross her legs and slant her body slightly to the side so that her legs weren’t entirely under the table. The other chair was directly opposite her.

“Your server will be right over.” The host said as he bowed and walked away. Avadrie looked to Hunter expectantly,

“Your board members? You must be some kind of businessmen then. The question is whether you’re a board's member or its leader. Which is it?”

As the host came up to them, his head would turn to face the man as he was addressing Avadrie. It was amazing how much the people around here tried to suck up to those that had money or power, definitely not something he was entirely used to yet. He head tilted to the side a little as the host offered to show her and 'the gentleman' to the table. He was surprised to hear this, but a small smile came out as he looked at her.

HIs head would shake a little from side to side as he responded to her question, "Now how could I refuse you?" He would rise from the stool, just after she had. He took a few steps, giving his arm out to her. He knew what it meant to be a gentleman, and never hesitated to show it when around women. Once she would have grabbed onto his arm, he would lead her as they followed the host outside to the patio, presumably where their table would be.

It was a nice night, at least compared to a normal night on Coruscant. Ever since the Empire's take over, it rained seemingly endlessly. The duraplast that was put into place would keep them from getting wet from the elements, but still allow them to enjoy the scenery of the city.

As they came to the table, Hunter would move to pull out her chair, and help her push it in once she had taken her seat. Then, he would take his seat that was opposite of her. He would give the host a nod as they were told their waiter would soon be with them. His head and eyes moved back across the table to Avadrie as she continued on with their conversation.

"That's right. I own Krandor Industries on Lianna. It's a ship building company, but we have been expanding more and more lately into other various building industries." He would pause a moment. Never did he want to make the conversation about him. His parents had taught him to be more humble than that when they raised him.

"Now that we've got that out of the way. Tell me, what made you want to be a Senator?"

"A thousand years ago my family ruled Empress Teta. Of course we don't anymore, just a minor footnote in history." She smiled at that as she dismissed the importance of her own family line.

"My father was an important man though, very well respected. I was sent to the best schools, had the best opportunities. It would be a waste, I'd imagine for me to be anything but a Senator." She explained simply. She set her clutch down on the table in front of her. What she hadn't explained was that her parents had died when she was just four years old, and she'd been pawned off to the elite boarding schools by her older sister who didn't want her. Nowadays of course, Kendra was quick to claim her, she heard from her contacts back on her world.

"Krandor Industries on Lianna you say? I can't say I've heard of it. So did you inherit it or ..." And as she went to continue she was interrupted by the waiter approaching the table from the side. He was an older, middle aged man. A bit odd to be working as a waiter perhaps, but the Clarendox was an upscale establishment, and it wasn't outside the realm of possibility that the man made plenty of money here. He addressed Hunter first, assuming like most might that man was the head person at the table.

"My name is Radun and I'll be your waiter this fine evening, what can I get you both to drink?" He said, looking first to Hunter. She had stopped talking and glanced once from the waiter and then back to Hunter. She was considering the possibilities that had presented to herself with the CEO of a shipbuilding corporation in front of her.

It was incredible to hear that this woman, sitting right in front of him, was a decendant of the once ruling family of Empress Teta. He knew that she had to have been raised very well, but really didn't think that she would have been that well off during her years up to becoming a Senator. Some would believe that she had accomplished exactly what she had been wanting to do her entire life. He wouldn't truly know if she once aspired to be the senator of her home world, or if that was just a stepping stone to becoming something more.

Just before she could continue on with her inheritance question, their waiter arrived at the table. Talk about horrible timing. His head turned to their waiter, Radun. It was obvious that the waiter believed that Hunter was the head of the table, even though it was completely the opposite. Avadrie was the one that had the reservation, and the one that invited him to join her.

"What would you like to drink, Avadrie?" He asked her, making sure that he was being as courteous as possible. He wouldn't have been sitting that the table if not for her, anyways.

"A blue durindfire. And for the gentleman a pink durindfire. If you have any little umbrellas, he'd like those as well." She said to the waiter who'd look to Hunter for a moment for confirmation but Avadrie shooed him away quickly with a laugh and a smile.

"Its alright. He'll like it I promise." The waiter looked back to the raven haired woman and plastered a smile on his face and nodded as he took as step back, beginning to back away.

"Right away Miss." And then the waiter was gone. She turned her attention back to Hunter, her green eyes sizing him up for a moment, curious if he'd have some kind of reaction to umbrellas and a pink drink being ordered for him. She didn't like men who drank girly drinks of their own volition of course, but when she was caught in a mood and felt like ordering one for him, he couldn't be faulted for it.

"So did you inherit your fortune and company Hunter Krandor?" She asked, looking up with a delighted smile as the waiter returned promptly with the drinks, setting them down in front of herself and Hunter. She eyed his drink with a fey glint in her eyes. A durindfire was a mildly alcholic drink, made with different dyes and a phosphoric agent that made the drink glow. She liked the taste and found it aesthetically appealing.

Just as she mentioned a pink durindfire for him, he gave her a puzzled look. He shook his head, laughing a little bit. He looked at the waiter and gave him a simple nod, giving him the confirmation just as Avadrie would tell him that Hunter will like it. Sitting there for just a moment, he watched as the waiter walked off, getting their drinks. It had crossed his mind to call the man back and change his drink order, but resisted. There had to have been a reason that she did that. It must have been some sort of test that she was putting him through.

As she continued on their conversation, his attention turned back to the woman sitting across from him. A slight nod was given to her answer shortly before he would voice his answer.

"You could say that. My parents allowed me to take over the control of the company when I was eighteen, nearly twelve years ago. It technically wasn't an inheritance of the company, but more of a promotion, if that's what you wanna call it."

His eyes moved down to the drink that had been set down in front of him. The radiant drink wasn't something that he would drink, ever. This was to be an exception to that. His hand reached out, grabbing the stem of the glass, lifting it up and putting the rim of the glass to his lips. Hesitantly, he tilted it back letting the liquid flow into his mouth. The glass was set back down on the table. He took a moment to fully taste the alcoholic drink, swallowing it once he'd gotten the full flavor.

"Not too bad." He would say to Avadrie. It was an honest opinion that he had of it.

"Its a popular drink on my world. It was the new big thing when I was first got to Koros Major University." Her drink sat untouched, and for a moment she thought it ironic that for the same reason Senator Ordan had once tried to ban alcohol to women, she was dragging out her drinks throughout the night. The only person who knew where she was happened to be sweet, naive Dandric and she was sitting at a table with a man she'd only just met at a bar who claimed to be the CEO of a large corporation, and he'd known who she was without an introduction. Granted that wasn't entirely out of the realm of possibility, with everything Madame Pencron had ever taught her, it wouldn't be wise to become careless now.

She took a moment to glance around them. The place was a veritable web of emotions floating all about, emanating from the other patrons. She glanced back to him and sighed. Her life was such a facade, an act that she carried out in front of everyone else, all her life. It had only been Madame Pencron who had seen her for what she was, what she'd held with in her. But it wasn't safe to even explore that part of her life anymore it seemed, it had after all killed Madame Pencron herself.

"So why are you on Imperial Center, Hunter? Here on business I presume?" She had taken her first tour of the new diplomatic cruiser that had been commissioned for her use as Senator of Empress Teta. They had held off on christening it with a name, an honor they wanted to allow the new Senator. Her aides had briefed her on its general capabilities and functions, but to be perfectly honest it had all gone in one ear and out the other. It simply wasn't her specialty or area of interest. The possibility of securing a favor or two from a smitten shipbuilding CEO wasn't entirely out of her mind, however..

His eyes couldn't help but fall back on the drink from time to time. For some odd reason, Hunter couldn't seem to get over the fact that he had a glowing drink sitting right in front of him. Unknowingly, his mind remembered that she had just said that she had attended Koros Major University. Things similar to that comment were always etched in his mind.

Immediately, his attention focused back in on what she was asking him. He was here on business, and also for a little bit of personal fun at the same time. This moment, it was all personal fun.

"I wanted to get away from Lianna for a little bit. I found that many said if I wanted to have a good time, Coruscant was the place to visit." He would stop right there for a moment. He wasn't too sure if he should continue with stating that he was here for business as well. Part of him wanted to tell her, but the other didn't want to come across and make her think that this meeting between the two of them was intentional.

"I also have a little bit of business here as well. There's a few people I am looking to meet with for a rather large contract between them and my company." Purposefully, Hunter left out the people he wanted to meet with, only cause it did involve Avadrie to a point. Krandor Industries was wanting to become one of the major ship builders for the Empire. Hunter was here to make that happen.

She was surprised for a moment when he called Imperial Center Coruscant. She smiled at the thought as he finished explaining why he was on Imperial Center.

"Ah, you're here to hunt down Imperial officials and secure a contract for your company." She nodded. It wasn't as if she'd read his mind, it only made sense. He came to Imperial Center on business and was a shipbuilder, what else, but the Empire's business would he be after? A grin alight with mischief danced across her face.

"You're too late. The ruling family on Empress Teta already provided me with a Consular class cruiser for my use as Senator." She teased him, her voice light and playful.

"Well, I do have a suggestion for you. Its 'Imperial Center' and just be careful about calling it Coruscant, some here in the Senate aren't too fond of the old name." She sighed, leaning back relaxed against the back of her chair.

"It would be horrible for you to lose business because of a political consideration, after all. So what kind of ships does your company produce? Battleships? Pleasure yachts? Or do you do everything?" The waiter again appeared to have impeccable timing and returned just as she had finished asking her last question.

"Please excuse me...." The waiter began, and as Avadrie stopped and looked to him he continued,

"Have you had an opportunity to peruse tonight's menu?" He asked, glancing from Avadrie to Hunter.
