I was just asking next time that its cleaned up a bit. Because there's nothing more that I like than reading a sentence and hitting this.

"Let's /c/00:20:29Kenas Annig head inside," he said, gesturing to the nearby cantina.

Kulan was getting rather tired of the detective, and found it being more of a troublesome burden than any actual help. Then again the detective was the one working on the case and he had been appointed to Kulan for the duration of this operation on Coruscant. Kulan turned his back to the detective as he looked along the alley way that the previous one had opened into. His eyes scanning along each side before he began to walk towards one end, finding it opening out into one of the lower levels. As he knelled down to look at another imprint he noticed movement in front of him. His head quickly looking up as he focused on one of the many under level cantinas that seemed to plague the infested under levels of the city. For the least part Kulan had his own hatred and problems with the Cantinas, yet it could be a place to start. As he stood up he pulled out his holonet transmitter before recording a message on it and sending it off.

His focus returned to the Cantina as he waited for the Detective to catch up. "It may not get us anywhere, yet its a start." He pointed out the cantina before he looked up, seeing the dim lighting that poorly lit up the path. Kulan focused on the lights with in before they began to sputter out, then completely went dark. As he stepped forward the visor he wore seemed to dim to keep it more difficult to see as he approached the entrance. The inside of the cantina was much more suited for him though. The dim lighting making faces difficult to see as he stepped around a group before he seemed to blend in with the shadows, watching the people in the cantina as he slowly made his way around the patrons.

(( Sorry it took me so long, Kulan; I got sidetracked and then clean forgot about it. ))

Had he known Kulan's exact feelings concerning his presence, Zack's feelings would have been terribly hurt. He didn't choose this assignment, much less to work with such a stoic (and rather unpleasant) fellow. Still, he was trying his best to be helpful, but really, Kulan was only doing what the CSF Homicide Department had done already... several times. He watched bemusedly as the Tin Man recorded yet another secret message; these Imperials, so mysterious and edgy. Eventually, without so much as a word, the guardsman made his way toward a cantina, Zack's eyes widened as the man somehow thought that breaking the lights in an already dimly-lit part of a particularly nasty part of Coruscant was a good idea. Not so much because he thought they were in any danger, but imagine all the poor women that might get raped in a dark alley this late at night. With some light, no matter how dim, they could have at least seen their attacker coming.

It was only out of some desire to keep his head set firmly on his shoulders that he didn't broach that subject with Kulan. Rather, he simply followed behind as they stepped through the cantina. Despite the fact that most bars were lit well enough that there was no real 'darkness' to skulk in, he left the guardsman to his own devices. CSF had combed this area as well, interviewing witnesses, collecting DNA samples, standard procedures. Still, wouldn't hurt to ask some of the patrons that they might have missed that day. And that's exactly what he did, settling down next to a pair of drunkards and beginning the subtle questioning.
