Maximov was en route to Pybus, with a Jedi and Wookiee kept in a rather continual stage of knockout in the holding cells within the Fist of the Suns. Drugs and computer monitors administered regular doses of a number of inhibiting serums to the pair, ensure docility and compliance, as well as silence. The Jedi's Sheathipede transport had been stashed in a place where Maximov could retrieve it if necessary; for now though, he was headed for a meeting with an arms dealer on Pybus.

Some makeup, synthskin and an eye prosthesis turned him into Rand Timmons, the independent shipwright. The fact that he flew a Firespray was a moot point. They were not common ships, but for a man to own one, especially one so rich as he was portraying Timmons to be, could afford it. He approached Pybus with caution, scanning for ships and other vessels in the system. At the very edge, the Decimator waited, powered down at hidden near a rather large chunk of asteroid so as to fool visual as well as computerized scans. If all appeared clear, Maximov would continue to the rendezvous site where he and 'a friend' would meet.

Scanning for any ships on the surface of Pybus would result in nothing being found, as well as being futile in the effort put behind it. The ships that happened to be on Pybus had been powered down so that only the slightest reading would be found, that though would show up more like a cluster of native animals herded together. Any clearing the ships did use though was also covered by a large retractable canopy to keep them hidden, as well as minimize the heat signature. Maximov's ship on the other hand had been picked up just as it entered the system, a quick message burst being sent out to prevent anyone from picking up on the exact location.

"Set down on Pybus, unless your talk for a meeting was just that."

Indeed, Maximov fully planned on setting down on Pybus. The Firespray was moving to do just that. Of course, if there was no clearing where ships could easily be spotted and no real trace to the radio signature, it was going to be rather difficult to tell exactly where he was supposed to land for the meeting. After all, he had been told Pybus, but not exact coordinates on the planet's surface. It was troublesome, so for now, he came into low orbit and broadcast in the clear.

"If you could set a marker out where you'd like me to set down, it'd be awfully nice." Thinking back, he considered that whomever 'a friend' was, the creature was rather fortunate. The Jedi Dexier and his Wookiee companion had been a welcome snatch up; one that meant his next dealing would be to keep the balance, so this being, whom he had originally intended to try and capture, had now become nothing more than a simple business deal.

The closer his ship got to the planet, he would see where he was to set down. A clearing that had been hidden before began to slowly open, the canopy that covered it being pulled back to reveal an open landing platform. A second message being sent quickly from below. "Keep on course, if you deviate, you'll be blown out of the sky." With so much forest cover it was difficult to tell just where the shots would come from, but he had been warned that he was already targeted by weapons on the ground. The large canopy was pulled back only enough for the ship to make it through before it would begin to slowly roll back in place to hid the landing pad.

"Fire on me and you'll loose a customer and get a bad rap for your business," he shot back, coming in and slowing his vessel. As the canopy rolled back, he deftly rolled the ship onto its back, relative to how it flew, rotated slightly to be able to land better and came down inside the canopy, finally powering down his engines as he came to a halt. He did, however, leave the vessel's emergency systems in a high-alert phase so that, should the need arise, he could get out or respond quickly enough.

Exiting his ship as Rand Timmons, he strode to the base of the vessel, where the ground met ship, waiting to see who he would see.

There was a young man sitting on a large crate, a few more crates sitting near him as he looked to the one that exit the ship. He looked over to him before he stood up as he looked at the crates sitting near him, his hand coming up as he looked over a datapad before he looked back. The young man had a blaster pistol sitting on his hip, of course he was ready for anything should they arise. He looked to him before he spoke. "I take it you're the one who is here to buy. Or did you have other plans with a vessel like that."

Maximov's eyes took in the young man, the holstered blaster and then flickered nervously around the clearing. He was posing as a shipwright, after all, slightly hunched down and with the cloak wrapped about him, hiding the lines of the GRS-1 he was carrying for defense this day. In some ways, it had become his most useful tool and he'd come to enjoy it. As the man spoke to him, he jumped slightly, an act, but bringing his attention back to the man. A good actor was Dimitri Maximov.

"Yes, I am here to buy." He gave a fond look back at his vessel. "She's a rarity, mister. I can't think I would part with her in good conscience. No, no, no. She's a faithful ship indeed. So, what wares do you have today?"

"It would depend on the person. Yet I highly doubt that a ship wright would be interested in purchasing black market weapons. So cut the act, who are you really." The young man stood silently now as he watched. his eyes focusing on the person that stood before him, trying to act as someone else. The young man had done this enough under guidance, as well as watching others that he knew an act when he saw one. Shipwrights though often purchased their weapons from reputable dealers, and often only the most uncaring would go to the black market for the weapons.

There were still, often many independent shipwrights who wished to avoid the prying eyes of the Empire, avoid its taxes or, more importantly, avoid its rules and regulations regarding the arming of certain vessels, especially if the buyer was not one who wished to be noticed by the Empire. As such, Maximov acted accordingly. He gave the young man an imperious glare and huffed.

"I did not come here to play games, sir. I came to purchase weapons. If you are not a dealer who can give me what I need, then there is no need for this meeting. If you'll stop hurling insults and accusations around, then we can deal. I'm not sitting here accusing you of being an Imperial spy, am I? Certainly not."

Maximov stood there, waiting for a response. Hopefully the man wasn't wasting his time.

"What is it that you want. We dont just throw out what we have, we do however make suggestions." He walked over to the crates that had been set up as he leaned back and sat on one of them. He looked to one of the others and hit a few of the buttons on the side to unlock it as the crate opened. A handful of blasters sitting with in, samples if you would, that were sitting there and waiting for the buyer to look at them. Also with them sat a small list of ship based weapons that were also available.

Maximov headed straight to the starfighter weapons, perusing the categories. "Oh, yes, very nice. Shall we say... ten of the anti-starfighter cluster bombs, fifteen concussion missiles, twelve proton torpedoes, and two ion cannons. Oh, and one of those .48 Enforcer pistols. I daresay I'll look quite dashing with one of those at my hip. So, have we an accord?" Maximov, in this guise of the shipwright, smiled rather happily at the man.

The young man noted it down on a datapad before his hand came up, touching his ear as he nodded before looking to the shipwright that was standing before him. "That's all good and everything, yet there is someone that wants to speak with you. It would seem the boss takes interest in the one that seems to be purchasing half of his Concussion Missile stock." He reached behind his back in a non-threatening manner before he pulled out a small disc, the holoprojector having been upgraded to keep it secure as he set it down. The image of a large being standing on it, shadows covering his face. His voice though came out garbled, nearly a gutteral grumbling, much like the Selkath language, yet he was speaking in Basic.

"So, you are the one that is purchasing half of my missile stock." The being seemed to be inspecting the one before him, yet it could be hard to tell as his hand touched one of the tendrils that marked his face. A habit that he had picked up, and was told was shared by the Selkath, even though their races were completely different. Qual stood there as he spoke up once more. "You look short for a shipwright, although I dont get much of those coming around these parts for business. Not since Moff Levi decided to put a bounty on me. Although, to be honest, if I'm such a petty criminal, then why would I be worth such a high mark." Qual let out a laugh as he looked to his side, someone off to the side handing him a datapad, his hands doing the work as he didnt even seem to lower his head to read it before he passed it back. The datapad in the young man's hand dinging as he looked to the shipwright. The young man holding out the datapad.

"Press the confirmation button after putting in your code and the proper transaction of payment will be sent through. Of course we trust that you'll be paying a fair compensation. After all, these are some hefty items." The young man placed the datapad on the trunk nearest to the shipwright as a few men began to come out of the trees, carrying and moving racks and items to the main landing pad as they got the shipwrights purchase ready to be loaded.

Maximov nodded shortly, keeping his jovial mood. Even when the hologram came out, Maximov's face, schooled to it's happy expression, did not fall. "Short for a shipwright, eh? Well, what can I say? I'm human. And you look rather ugly for an arm's dealer, so we're even!" He gave the hologram a wink. "A man must buy where he needs to buy to supply his ships. You're cheaper than the alternative, after all."

Accepting the datapad, he paused a moment, looking over the readout to ensure all was correct. "Fair compensation indeed. How will I get a hold of you if I need more?" The finger that tapped the datapad was expertly swathed by a thin layer of synthskin, containing the fingerprint of a man who had never been; the guise of the shipwright. A master of disguise was Dimitri Maximov. It helped as well that he had no fingerprints of his own.

"A pleasure doing business with you."

Qual stood silently as he watched the man sign for the purchase, the question coming up on how to contact him again as he kept his face in the shadows. "There are simple ways if you need more. Although from what I've been told." He took another datapad from out of sight as he looked at it. "It seems my ship weapons have been cleaned out by another client. I do still have the last of the missiles, torpedoes and laser cannons. It seems that this client isnt much interested in the bigger boom aspect." He gave a smirk before he hit a few of the buttons on the datapad and sent it off screen. "The transfer though is complete. Credits are in their proper place and order. As for contacting us again, there will be directions in your purchase. Of course though once opened they'll erase themselves, so you'd might want to remember quickly how to do so before they wipe themselves clean, cant be too safe now can we."

With that the holoimage faded out as the young man slid it into his back pocket, the code changing so even if one attempted to redial, so to say, they wouldnt be able to get Qual on the line. He looked to the two men on the landing pad as he made a motion. "It looks like your cargo is ready to be loaded."

"Good, good. By all means, proceed with the loading then."

Maximov turned to escort the loaders up the ramp and into his vessel proper, where they could drop the crates and then depart, leaving both sides quite happy. He'd come away with a goodly amount of items this day. Some, undoubtedly, would find their way to rebellious groups. Others might turn up in the hands of the Empire and he was quite certain he was keeping a few choice morsels for himself. All in all, very well done.
