| After having quite an interesting conversation with Jalaila on Talasea and inside the shuttle en route to the location of the meeting, they were approaching the destination. A beeping would come on the console, indicating the need to drop out of hyperspace. It was a backwater planet, an insignificant one. There were no sentient beings that would reside there, though it's possible there's flora and fauna. The planet was full of swampy jungles, deep in the Outer Rim Territories. The location would be known as Edonaaris.
Recently, the Senator had been informed of the heavy losses the Libs took at Molavar. This would compel him to investigate whose commander it was at the time of attack. However, that time is not now. It was time for them to find a new base of operations, but for now, the rebellion would have to operate primarily out of their outposts...and a front. Also, due to the losses the Libs took, Tremaine had ordered the Alpha Squadron to escort Baird to Edonaaris. The smuggler that had done the job of getting Baird and his soldiers on the transport back in the Quelli Sector wouldn't be the one carrying them. The same smuggler would have a meeting with Mika he had requested elsewhere.
Instead, the Libs had assigned a pilot to fly a shuttle with Baird inside it. The shuttle holding Tremaine and Jalaila, along with a couple of bodyguards, would descend into the planetary atmosphere. "This meeting is going to be interesting." The Telosian told Jalaila. It may be unnecessary to give Baird protection, but because he had been in Quellii Sector for so long...Tremaine wasn't going to let him get stuck in another predicament, at least not on his watch.

| I'll have a post up for you later today, bud. More than likely it'll be tonight.)) Added (15 Aug 2011, 7:26 Am) --------------------------------------------- He had no idea where he was going, all he knew is he was relieved to be out of the Quellii sector, and away from imperial presence, for the time being. He sat in the back of the ship, while it flew towards it's destination. He had his weapons with him, in case it was a trap. even if he was out numbered he wanted to take a few with him, but he had a bit of a good feeling about this one. His crew was en route on a different ship to a safe location to receive medical attention, and whatever else they might need. Sooner this thing landed and Baird saw where he was at, the sooner he'd be happier.

| Jalaila still, despite the trip that they had already taken to Talasea, had issues with flying. There wasn't one part of it that she enjoyed, but if she had to pick the part she hated the least, it would be while they were in hyperspace. There were no bumps or shudders and most of the time the ship didn't feel like it was even moving. She had settled into a seat and was trying not to pay attention to the shudder of the ship as it was navigated into the atmosphere.
"Why will it be interesting?" He hadn't told her where they were going again, or who they were meeting with. She had caught tidbits of what was going on with his rebellion, but she had no idea the full extent of it, or the repercussions that would come from the situation at Molavar. "Who are we meeting?"
For most of the trip she had thought about what he showed her on Talasea and what he had said, and that he might actually be telling her the truth, but at the moment she still had doubts. And this meeting brought more.

| The Alpha Squadron's next assignment was to escort Baird to the meeting place with their secret leader. The F-302 and the five Z-95 Headhunters would fly in a V-formation, matching the shuttle's speed. The Captain had felt really good about their small victory at retrieving Baird away from the Quellii Sector. Despite their minimal losses, they had shown their talent in combat flying. There was a reason they were the best squadron of the Libs. They were able to stand their ground and fight the TIE fighters toe-to-toe. Ben was certain the Alpha Squadron's reputation in the Outer Rim would grow, and that would probably attract the attention of the Imperial forces stationed in that region of the galaxy.
They decided to keep their composure should the Imperials show up, they not only were protecting Baird but were also protecting the leader of the Libs.

| The Senator slipped his right hand into one of the pockets inside his jacket, making sure he still had the symbol Hajo had given him a long while ago. He wanted to give it to Baird, which would be a good way to reestablish contact with an old friend. He kept his left hand on the controls, as the shuttle continues to decrease in altitude until it came to a landing. He proceeded to power the engines down, turning his attention toward Jalaila once again. He smiled lightly toward the lady, "We're meeting with an old friend of mine. He was also a Clone War veteran himself. My men had rescued him from the Quellii Sector. I wanted to be the official welcoming committee."
Tremaine got off the pilot chair, heading for the ramp as the bodyguards followed by. "I'd like for you to come, but you're welcomed to stay in here too." The only reason he said that was because it wasn't hard for him to notice that Jalaila was having a lot of confusion inside her brain at the moment. Of course, it was up to her to come with him. He was giving her a lot of freedom and space, one that the Empire wouldn't usually give her. The Senator, along with the bodyguards, walked down the ramp. They'd await the arrival of the assigned shuttle.
Meanwhile, the shuttle with Baird in it had just dropped out of hyperspace. "We've dropped out of hyperspace. You might want to prepare yourself for the meeting with the man himself." The pilot spoke to Baird, referring to the leader of the Libs. He could tell Baird was itching to get off the shuttle, and his superior had told him to get the man there as soon as possible. So, the shuttle would push the speed to maximum. Descending into the atmosphere, and headed straight for the designated coordinates. They continued to fly until they had come to a landing, close and clearly visible distance away from the another shuttle.
The pilot would have the landing ramp opened up for Baird to get outside, where he would be able to see the small party.

| His eye's wandered around the ship as they dropped out of hyperspace, he rubbed his forehead for a little bit as the ship descended into atmosphere, and landed near a shuttle, he shrugged a bit and began to walk off the ship, before he got to the ramp however, he pulled out a cigar, put it in his mouth. He rose his other hand to his face, which had a lighter in it, he ignited his lighter, thus lighting his cigar. He took a puff then proceeded to put the lighter in his pocket. He then started to walk down the ramp. He wasn't looking the best, but after all he had been through he could've looked a lot worse. As he walked down the ramp and saw a little welcoming committee. He held the cigar in his mouth while eying everyone. He didn't recognize anyone here, if there was an old friend of his here it would take a bit of talking to convince him, seeing as it had been over 10 years since he last say any one from his past.

| She didn't follow Tremaine immediately, in fact, she stayed in her seat for several lingering minutes after he had invited her to come along. He had also said that she could stay there if she had no interest in meeting the fellow that Tremaine was so keen on seeing. Finally, with a sigh, she pulled herself from the seat and walked back through the ship to the ramp.
Jaliala made her way down the ramp carefully, taking easy steps so she wouldn't slip on her high heels. Her first impression of Baird was not much, even at a distance. Scruffy, cigar smoking....she even bet that he hadn't showered in a while. Tremaine had said that the man had just been rescued, however, so she took that into account during her silent assessment. She stayed back, just on the end of the ramp, until Tremaine would ask her to come, or say something to her.

| Tremaine would spot almost right away a rugged appearance of man that had gone through a lot. That was Baird, alright. Stuffs always happen to his type of people. Also, the Senator smelled the cigar almost right away. In a strange way, seeing Baird and the cigar had reminded him of his time during the Clone Wars. The Telosian doesn't smoke anything except victory cigars. He haven't had one of those in a decade, even when he was rising up in the politics. Political victories meant nothing to him, being a politician was nothing more than a tool to help with his true agenda. That is to someday free the galaxy from tyranny and persecution.
While the rebel may not recognized the Senator, he would certainly recognize a man of certain stature. Tremaine was dressing like a businessman, one that sets him apart from most Senators, of which dressed up all that fancy crap. If Baird was able to put it together, the Libs were well-funded unike most of resistance groups at the moment. Tremaine placed his hand into the pocket where the token was in. "I'm Senator Tremaine Fowlkes, of the Imperial Senate. Now before you go on shooting me..." The Telosian would spot Jalaila walking up to his side at the corner of one of his eyes. He proceeded to take the token out of his pocket and tossed it over to the scruffy man.
"A gift from Hajo. It's nice to see you again, old friend." Tremaine wasn't sure if the man remembered him, but he spoke the words anyway. It had only been once or twice during the Clone Wars that they had seen each other. The Telosian probably wasn't remembered by many people, but he would certainly remember the types like Baird during that war.

| his eyes wandered between the sharp dressed man, and the woman whom had both come out of the shuttle, if this was the man that helped orchestrated his rescue, in what ships they were sent in, he figured he was either a wealthy tycoon of some-sort. He examined the man who Identified him self as 'Tremaine Fowlkes' Those words sent his mind back about a decade, the name sounded so familiar, after a short time a grin crossed his face, the name 'Fowlkes' and 'Hajo'. He knew who this man was, he served with him for a short while during the clone wars.
After Tremaine tossed the coin towards him, he caught it, looked at it for a short while, and put it in one of his many pockets. With a gruff voice, he reached behind him, pulled out a pistol (Black powder pistol) and tossed it over towards Tremaine, it was empty so there was no chance for it to accidentally fire, and cause any causalities.
"Your pistol, Sergeant. You dropped it way back then, I found it and held onto it, meant to give it back to you but... Well you know what happened, I'm sure Hajo told you... with..." His eyes switched over to look at Jalaila, he didn't want to say too much about the passed, so he just nodded, and ended the sentence with a "Yeah." His cigar was in his hand, he brought it to his mouth, he was about to finish it off, but instead he dropped it, stepped on it to put it out.
"So, Where to now? I could use a few things, shower for one.""

| She hesitated for a moment as her gaze caught Baird's and he didn't finish his sentence. She felt that perhaps that was the time to excuse herself and let the two talk, so she would not be interrupting. Instead, Jalaila took a step forward, her gaze still on the man.
"Told him what?" She asked curiously. "And with what?" She would have to learn some time, and if he would keep secrets from her, she wouldn't know and would keep believing what she believed. Her gaze went to Tremaine for a moment as she looked for an answer from one of them.

| The Senator sported a grin on his face as well in response to Baird's. He'd open his left hand for it to catch the Black Powder Pistol. The pistol was a family heirloom. It was passed on to him from his father when he signed up to go to war. The Clone Wars, more specifically. He never used it in combat, but liked to keep it close by at all times. In addition, he was a historian, so keeping something old made sense in this case. "Thanks, sir."
Old habits die hard. Even though Tremaine was a soldier for only the duration of the Clone Wars, it had shaped him a lot. It was certainly an experience that he'd never forget. More often than not, he was talking like a soldier rather than being a senator. Then he chuckled lightly when he heard that Baird mentioned that he needed a shower or something like that. "Well, Hajo contacted me right before I took the trip here. He wanted me to tell you that he's inside your station. That if you need anything, he can send something in a shuttle or you could go get it. I'm guessing there's a shower, so I could have the pilot take you there if you want."
The Telosian then turned his head to look at Jalaila for a moment, "Jalaila." That was all he would say, giving her the eyes gesture that it wasn't the right moment for Tremaine to explain to her. He wanted to get his old friend well-rested and in shape as fast as possible, because well...he's a friend and because he's the sort the Libs need a lot in the fight against the Empire.

| His eyes wandered over towards the woman that accompanied Tremaine, he had no idea if she was a family member, a girlfriend or something else. But he nodded over at her then returned his attention to Tremaine. "Right, well if he's there, I know where it's at.... Tell you what, let me fly the shuttle to my place, so I can rest up, shower get some weapons perhaps my armor, providing it still fits if not I'll work on some adjustment's for it, and when you want to to have a meeting, let me know I'll fly back with the shuttle return it to you, safe." He thought it was a good plan. Also he could get some information from Hajo, regarding supply lines, and anything else that may have happened around the galaxy that he picked up, and give the information to Tremaine.

| She wrinkled her forehead as her expression fell into a frown as Tremaine silenced her. Jaliala was not the type to just take that, but this time she would. Unfortunately, it would only make it harder for Tremaine to try and make her see things from his point of view since he refused to explain. This Baird character wasn't helping the cause either.
The woman turned as they finished talking and walked up the ramp and back into the ship. She was so out of place there, not only in just her appearance. She also didn't really care that much. And she felt that they would both, or someone, would talk to her when they were ready. For the moment, she just settled herself in the quarters.

| The Senator would simply nod in compliance to Baird's request. "Yeah, that's fine. Go ahead and take the shuttle. Just don't forget to tell the pilot to join up with us." He chuckled lightly, making a joke to lighten the moods up. Maybe it was a bad one, but a joke nevertheless. "Jalaila, get back on the ship." Tremaine would tell the beautiful lady, as he turned his brief attention back to the apparently messed-up guy. "See you soon, sir."
The bodyguards would be the first ones to turn around and walk back up the landing ramp of their shuttle. "Sorry. Old habits." He'd tell Baird before turning around and walking up the ramp himself. He'd tell the bodyguards to get the engines started up.

| With a nod, he saluted Tremaine, as he and his bodyguards walked off onto the ship, he turned around, headed up the ships shuttle, and into toe cockpit. "Yo, your boss said I'm taking this shuttle home, you are to ride with him and the rest of the crew. Thanks for the lift." The pilot shrugged, rose from his seat. Baird stopped him and handed him A holocom that only functioned on one channel, one that baird was on which was highly encrypted and he never really spoke on, unless spoken to, it was from the clone wars, same channel. "Be sure to give this to your boss. Good luck." The pilot nodded and walked off the shuttle and into Tremaine's ship. Moment's later the shuttles engine's would fire on, Baird was home free, and ready to cause havoc for imperial forces, only one thing was in this path, getting home.
